Psalm 48

48 A song. psalm of sons of

1 Yahweh is great, and he is being praised greatly

in the city of our God, on the mountain of his holiness.

2 Beautiful of elevation, the joy of all of the earth,

is Mount Zion, in the recesses of the north,

the city of the great king.

3 God, is in her citadels.

He is known as a stronghold.

4 For behold, kings assembled themselves,

they advanced together.

5 They, they saw, then they marveled.

They were terrified, they hastened themselves away.

6 Trembling seized them there,

pain like childbearing.

7 With the wind of the east,

you shatter ships of Tarshish.

8 As we have heard, so we have seen

in the city of Yahweh of Armies, in the city of our God.

God will establish it to forever. Selah

9 We have compared your covenant faithfulness, God,

in the midst of your temple.

10 As, is your name, God,

so, is your praise to the ends of the earth.

Your right hand is full, of righteousness.

11 Let Mount Zion rejoice,

let the daughters of Judah be glad,

because of your judgments.

12 Circle Zion and go around her.

Count her towers,

13 put your heart to her rampart, consider her citadels,

so that you may recount to a later generation.

14 For this God, is our God forever and ever.

He, he will guide us until death.
