68 For the chief musician. psalm of song.
1 Let God arise, let his enemies scatter,
and let the ones hating him flee from his face.
2 As smoke is driven away, drive, them away;
as wax melts from the face of fire,
let the wicked perish from the face of God.
3 But let the righteous rejoice, let them exult to the face of God,
and let them be glad with rejoicing.
4 Sing to God, make music, to his name,
lift up to the one riding over the plains.
In Yah, is his name; yes, exult to his face.
5 A father of orphans and a judge of widows
is God in the abode of his holiness.
6 God is making the lonely dwell in a house;
he is bringing out prisoners into prosperity.
But the ones rebelling dwell in dryness.
7 God, when you went out to the face of your people,
when you marched in the wilderness, Selah
8 the earth quaked; indeed, the heavens dripped
from the face of God;
this Sinai, from the face of God, the God of Israel.
9 A rain of generosities you shook out, God;
your inheritance, when it was wearied, you, you established it.
10 Your flock dwelt in it;
in your goodness, you prepared for the poor, God.
11 The Lord utters the word;
the, women proclaiming good news, are a great army.
12 Kings of armies flee, they flee,
and the habitation of the house, she divides the spoil.
13 Though you lie down between the sheepfolds,
the wings of a dove covered with silver
and its feathers, with greenness of gold.
14 When Shaddai scattered kings in it,
it snowed on Zalmon.
15 Mount Bashan, is a mountain of God;
Mount Bashan, is a mountain of peaks.
16 Why do you look enviously, mountains, peaks,
at the mountain God desired for his dwelling?
Indeed, Yahweh will inhabit, it forever.
17 The chariotry of God, is two myriads, thousands of repetition.
The Lord, is among them; Sinai, is in the holy, place.
18 You have ascended to the height,
you have taken captivity captive,
you have received gifts among men
and even, among the ones rebelling,
that Yah God might dwell, there.
19 Blessed, be the Lord! Day, day he bears for us,
the God of our salvation. Selah
20 God, is to us a God of salvations,
and to Yahweh the Lord, are exits from death.
21 Surely God will crush the head of his enemies,
the pate of hair of the one walking ahead in his trespasses.
22 The Lord said, “I will bring back from Bashan,
I will bring back from the depths of the sea,
23 so that your foot may smash in blood,
the tongue of your dogs, its portion from the enemies.”
24 They see your processions, God,
the processions of my God, my king, into the holy, place.
25 The singers go ahead; the ones playing stringed instruments, behind,
maidens playing timbrels, in the midst.
26 Bless God in the assemblies,
Yahweh, from the fountain of Israel.
27 There, is Benjamin, the littlest,
ruling them; the princes of Judah, their throngs;
the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.
28 Your God has commanded your strength.
Be strong, God! You have done this for us.
29 Because of your temple over Jerusalem,
kings will bring a gift to you.
30 Rebuke the beast of the reed,
the assembly of the mighty with the calves of the peoples,
humbling himself with pieces of silver.
He scatters the peoples, who delight in battles.
31 Nobles will come from Egypt;
Cush will make its hands run to God.
32 Kingdoms of the earth, sing to God!
Make music, to the Lord, Selah
33 to the rider on the heavens, of the heavens of antiquity.
Behold, he utters with his voice, a voice of power.
34 Ascribe strength to God;
his majesty, is over Israel,
and his strength, is in the clouds.
35 God, you are fearsome from your sanctuary!
The God of Israel, he is giving strength and forces to the people.
Blessed, be God!
