Psalm 80

For the chief musician, set to the Shoshannim Eduth style. A psalm of Asaph.

80 Pay attention, Israel,

you who lead a flock;

you who sit above cherubim, on us!

2 In the sight of Ephraim Manasseh, power;

come save

3 God, us;

make face on us, we will be saved.

4 Yahweh hosts,

how long be angry your people they pray?

5 You have fed them the bread tears

and given them tears drink great quantities.

6 You make us something our neighbors argue over,

and our enemies about us themselves.

7 God hosts, us;

make your face on us, we will be saved.

8 You brought vine of Egypt;

you drove out transplanted it.

9 You land for it;

it took root filled the land.

10 The mountains covered its shade,

the cedars God its branches.

11 It out branches far as the sea

and its shoots Euphrates River.

12 Why you broken down walls

so that all pass by the road its fruit?

13 The boars of the forest it,

and the beasts the field on it.

14 Turn back, hosts;

look down heaven take notice take care of

15 This is the root right hand

16 It been burned cut down;

they perish of rebuke.

17 May your hand on man right hand,

on son of you made strong yourself.

18 Then we will away you;

revive us, we will call your name.

19 Yahweh hosts, us;

make your face on us, we will be saved.
