63 A psalm of he was the wilderness of

1 God, you, are my God. I seek you earnestly.

My soul thirsts for you, my flesh faints for you

in a land of dryness and weary, without water.

2 Thus in the sanctuary I have gazed, at you

to see your power and your glory.

3 Because your covenant faithfulness, is better than life,

my lips will praise you.

4 Thus I will bless you in my life;

I will lift up my palms in your name.

5 As, with fat and fatness my soul will be full,

and, with lips of joyful shouts my mouth will praise, you.

6 When I remember you on my bed,

I meditate on you in the night watches.

7 For you have been a help to me,

and in the shadow of your wings I shout joyfully.

8 My soul clings after you;

your right hand upholds me.

9 But they, they seek my life for devastation;

they will come into the lowest parts of the earth.

10 They will pour him into the hands of the sword;

they will be a portion of jackals.

11 But the king will rejoice in God;

all of the swearers by him will exult,

for the mouth of speakers of falsehood will be shut.
