ULT PSA Chapter 116

116 I love, him because Yahweh hears

my voice, my pleas,

2 because he extends his ear to me;

and throughout my days I will call out.

3 The cords of death surrounded me,

and the constrictions of Sheol found me;

I found anguish and sorrow.

4 Then I called on the name of Yahweh:

“Please Yahweh, rescue my life.”

5 Yahweh, is merciful and righteous,

and our God, is compassionate.

6 Yahweh guards the naive;

I was low, and he saved me.

7 Return to your rest, my soul,

for Yahweh has repaid you.

8 For you rescued my soul from death,

my eye from weeping,

my foot from stumbling.

9 I will walk to the face of Yahweh

in the lands of the living.

10 I trusted, though I spoke,

“I, I am very wretched.”

11 I, I said in my panic,

“All mankind lies.”

12 How can I return to Yahweh

all of his bestowments to me?

13 I will raise the cup of salvation,

and call on the name of Yahweh.

14 I will fulfill my vows to Yahweh

right in front of all of his people.

15 Precious in the eyes of Yahweh

is the death of his faithful.

16 Indeed, Yahweh, for I, am your servant;

I, am your servant, the son of your servant woman;

you have undone my bonds.

17 I will sacrifice to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving

and I will call on the name of Yahweh.

18 I will fulfill my vows to Yahweh

right in front of all of his people,

19 in the courts of the house of Yahweh,

in your midst, Jerusalem.
