ULT PSA Chapter 86

A prayer. Of David.

Incline your ear, Yahweh;

answer me, for I, am poor and needy.

2 Guard my soul, for I, am faithful.

You, my God, save your servant,

the one trusting in you.

3 Favor me, Lord,

for to you I call all of the day.

4 Gladden the soul of your servant,

for to you, Lord, I lift up my soul.

5 For you, Lord, are good and forgiving

and plentiful of covenant faithfulness to all of the ones calling on you.

6 Listen, to my prayer, Yahweh,

and attend to the voice of my pleas.

7 In the day of my trouble I call on you,

for you will answer me.

8 There is none like you among the gods, Lord,

and there is nothing like your works.

9 All of the nations that you have made

will come and bow down to your face, Lord,

and they will glorify your name.

10 For you, are great and are doing wonderful things;

you, are God, you alone.

11 Teach me your way, Yahweh.

that I may walk in your truth.

Unite my heart to fear your name.

12 I will thank you, Lord my God, with all of my heart,

and I will glorify your name forever.

13 For your covenant faithfulness, is great toward me,

and you have delivered my soul from lowest Sheol.

14 God, the arrogant arise against me,

and the congregation of the violent seek my life,

and they do not set you before them.

15 But you, Lord, are a merciful and gracious God,

long of nostrils and plentiful of covenant faithfulness and truth.

16 Turn to me and favor me;

give your strength to your servant,

and save the son of your female servant.

17 Work for me a sign for good,

that the ones hating me may see and have shame,

for you, Yahweh, you help me and comfort me.
