Of David

Vindicate me, Yahweh, for I have walked in my integrity,

and in Yahweh I have trusted without wavering.

2 Examine me, Yahweh, and test me;

try my kidneys and my heart.

3 For your covenant faithfulness is before my eyes,

and I walk about in your truth.

4 I do not sit with men of falsehood,

and I will not go with the ones concealing themselves.

5 I hate the assembly of the ones doing evil,

and I will not sit with the wicked.

6 I wash my hands in innocence,

so I will go around your altar, Yahweh,

7 to cause to be heard the sound of thanksgiving

and recount all of your wonderful acts.

8 Yahweh, I love the habitation of your house,

and the place of the dwelling place of your glory.

9 Do not gather my soul with the sinful,

nor my life with men of blood,

10 who, have in their hands an evil scheme

and their right hand is full of bribes.

11 But I will walk in my integrity;

redeem me and be gracious to me.

12 My foot stands on level ground;

among the assemblies will I bless Yahweh!
