ULT PSA Chapter 41

41 For the chief musician; psalm David

1 The happinesses of the one considering the lowly!

In the day of evil, Yahweh will rescue him.

2 Yahweh will guard him and will keep him alive,

and he will be called happy in the land;

so do not give him into the soul of his enemies.

3 Yahweh will support him on the bed of suffering;

you transformed each bed of his in his sickness.

4 I, I said, “Yahweh, be gracious to me!

Heal my soul, for I have sinned against you.”

5 My enemies say evil concerning me,

“When will he die and his name perish?”

6 And if he comes to see me, he speaks worthlessness;

his heart gathers iniquity to itself.

He goes out to the outside; he speaks.

7 Together against me all my haters whisper;

against me they plan evil to me.

8 “A matter of wickedness is poured on him,

and he who has lain down will not repeat to rise.”

9 Even the man of my peace, whom I trusted in him,

the eater of my bread,

has made great the heel against me.

10 But you, Yahweh, be gracious to me and raise me up,

so that I may repay them.

11 By this I know that you delight in me,

that my enemy does not shout over me.

12 And I, in my integrity you upheld me,

and you set me to your face forever.

13 Blessed, be Yahweh, the God of Israel,

from the everlasting and unto the everlasting.
