1 Be gracious to me, God, for man tramples me!

All of the day, fighting, he oppresses me.

2 My enemies trample me all of the day,

for many are fighting against me arrogantly.

3 The day I fear,

I, I will trust in you.

4 In God—I praise his word—in God I trust.

I will not fear. What will flesh do to me?

5 All of the day they vex my matters;

all of their thoughts, are against me for harm.

6 They gather together, they hide;

they, they watch my heels because they await my life.

7 Upon iniquity, shall there be an escape for them?

In nose, make the peoples go down, God.

8 You, you record my wandering.

Put my tears in your bag.

Are they not in your record?

9 Then my enemies will turn back on the day I call.

This I know, for God, is for me.

10 In God—I praise his word—

in Yahweh—I praise his word—

11 in God I trust.

I will not fear. What will man do to me?

12 Your vows, are on me, God.

I will pay a thank-offering to you.

13 For you deliver my life from death.

Are not my feet from stumbling,

that I may walk about to the face of God in the light of the living?
