ULT PSA Chapter 147

147 Hallelu Yah!

For, it is good to make music, to our God,

for praise, is pleasant and suitable.

2 Yahweh builds up Jerusalem;

he gathers the scattered of Israel,

3 healing the broken of heart

and binding up their wounds;

4 counting the number of the stars,

he calls names to all of them.

5 Great is our Lord, and abundant of power,

his understanding, is without number.

6 Yahweh is lifting up the poor,

bringing down the wicked to the ground.

7 Sing to Yahweh with thanksgiving;

make music to our God with the harp,

8 the one covering the heavens with clouds;

the one preparing rain for the earth,

the one making the mountains sprout with grass.

9 He gives its food to the beast,

to the sons of the raven when they call.

10 He does not delight in the strength of a horse;

he does not take pleasure, in the legs of a man.

11 Yahweh takes pleasure, in the ones fearing him,

the ones hoping for his covenant faithfulness.

12 Extol Yahweh, Jerusalem;

praise your God, Zion.

13 For he strengthens the bars of your gates;

he blesses your sons in your midst.

14 The one putting peace, at your borders,

he satisfies you, with the fat of wheat.

15 The one sending his command, to the earth,

his word runs to swiftness.

16 The one making snow like wool,

he scatters frost like ashes.

17 The one sending his hail like crumbs,

who can stand to the face of his cold?

18 He sends his word, and he makes them melt;

he makes his wind blow, and the waters flow.

19 He declared his word to Jacob,

his statutes and his judgments to Israel.

20 He has not done this for any, other nation,

and his judgments, they do not know them.
