ULT PSA Chapter 25

Of David

To you, Yahweh, I lift up my soul.

2 My God, in you I trust;

do not let me have shame;

do not let my enemies exult over me.

3 Indeed, all the ones waiting on you will not have shame;

the ones acting treacherously without cause will have shame.

4 Make me know your ways, Yahweh;

teach me your paths.

5 Lead me in your truth and teach me,

for you are the God of my salvation;

on you I wait all the day.

6 Remember your compassion, Yahweh, and your covenant faithfulness,

for they are from ancient times.

7 Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions;

according to your covenant faithfulness remember me,

for the sake of your goodness, Yahweh!

8 Good and upright is Yahweh,

therefore he teaches the sinful in the way.

9 He leads the humble in justice,

and he teaches the humble his way.

10 All the paths of Yahweh are covenant love and faithfulness

for the ones keeping his covenant and his testimonies.

11 For the sake of your name, Yahweh,

forgive my iniquity, for it is great.

12 Who is the man fearing Yahweh?

He will teach him in the way he is to choose.

13 His soul will remain in good,

and his seed will inherit the earth.

14 The secret of Yahweh is for the ones fearing him

and his covenant, to cause them to know it.

15 My eyes are continually toward Yahweh,

for he will make my feet go out of the net.

16 Turn toward me and be gracious to me,

for I am alone and afflicted.

17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged;

bring me out of my distresses.

18 See my affliction and my trouble,

and forgive all of my sins.

19 See my enemies, for they are many,

and with hatred of violence they hate me.

20 Guard my life and deliver me;

do not let me have shame, for I take refuge in you!

21 May integrity and uprightness preserve me,

for I wait for you.

22 God, redeem Israel

from all of his troubles!
