All the people must be in their correct places near their tribal flags. 18 The tribal flag that belongs to the descendants of Ephraim must be on the western side of the sacred tent. They listed 603, 550 men in total who set up their tents by their army divisions. 33 However, they did not list the Levites along with the other Israelites. That is what Yahweh had ordered Moses to do. 34 So the Israelites did exactly everything that Yahweh had ordered Moses to tell them to do. They set up their tents by their own tribal flags, and they left each campsite by their tribal groups and ancestral families.
