OET (OET-RV) So Yehoshua and the Israelis finished most of them off, although some did manage to escape and get back into their fortified cities.

OET-LV And_he/it _was just_as _finished Yəhōshūˊa and_the _sons of _Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) to_defeat_them a _defeat great very until they_were _finished and_the_survivors they _survived from_them and_they _came into the _cities _of (the)_fortification.

ULT And it happened, when Joshua and the sons of Israel had finished striking them, with a very great striking until their finishing, that the survivors from them survived and entered into the cities of fortification.

UST So Joshua and his soldiers chased and killed the Amorite soldiers until they had destroyed them almost completely. Only a few of them escaped to the safety of their cities, which had defensive walls.

ClVg Cæsis ergo adversariis plaga magna, et usque ad internecionem pene consumptis, hi qui Israël effugere potuerunt, ingressi sunt civitates munitas.

BrTr And it came to pass when Joshua and all Israel ceased destroying them utterly with a very great slaughter, that they that escaped took refuge in the strong cities.
