10 And_he_confused_them YHWH to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_he_defeated_them a_defeat great at_Giⱱˊōn and_he_pursued_them the_direction_of the_ascent_of Bēyt Ḩōrōn and_he_defeated_them to ˊAzēqāh and_unto Maqqēdāh.
11 And_he/it_was when_fled_they from_face/in_front_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) they were_at_the_descent_of Bēyt Ḩōrōn and_YHWH he_threw on_them stones large from the_heavens to ˊAzēqāh and_they_died were_many those_who they_died by_the_stones_of the_hail more_than_those_whom they_killed the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) with_sword.
12 then Yəhōshūˊa he_spoke to/for_YHWH in/on_day YHWH delivered_up DOM the_ʼAmorī to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_he/it_said to_the_eyes_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) Oh_sun at_Giⱱˊōn be_still and_Oh_moon in_the_valley_of ʼAyyālōn.
13 And_it_was_still the_sun and_the_moon it_stood_still until it_avenged_itself_on the_nation enemies_of_its not is_it written on the_scroll_of the_upright_one and_it_stood_still the_sun in_the_middle_of the_heavens and_not it_hastened to_go about_a_day complete.

16 And_they_fled the_five_of the_kings the_these and_they_hid_themselves in_cave at_Maqqēdāh.
17 And_it_was_told to_Yəhōshūˊa to_say they_have_been_found the_five_of the_kings hidden in_cave at_Maqqēdāh.
18 And_ Yəhōshūˊa _he/it_said roll stones large into the_mouth_of the_cave and_appoint on/upon_it(f) men to_guard_them.
19 And_you(pl) do_not delay pursue after enemies_of_your(pl) and_you(pl)_will_attack_in_the_rear them do_not permit_them to_go into cities_of_their if/because he_has_given_them YHWH god_of_your(pl) in_hand_of_your(pl).

21 And_ all_of _they_returned the_people to the_camp to Yəhōshūˊa Maqqēdāh in_peace not he_sharpened to_the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to_anyone DOM tongue_of_his.
22 And_ Yəhōshūˊa _he/it_said open DOM the_mouth_of the_cave and_bring_out to_me DOM the_five_of the_kings the_these from the_cave.
23 And_they_made thus and_they_brought_out to_him/it DOM the_five_of the_kings the_these from the_cave DOM the_king_of Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) DOM the_king_of Ḩeⱱrōn DOM the_king_of Yarmūt/(Jarmuth) DOM the_king_of Lākīsh DOM the_king_of ˊEglōn.

26 And_he_struck_them_down Yəhōshūˊa after thus and_he_killed_them and_he_hanged_them on five trees and_they_were hanged on the_trees until the_evening.
27 And_he/it_was to_the_time_of was_going the_sun Yəhōshūˊa he_commanded and_people_took_them_down from_under the_trees and_they_threw_them into the_cave where they_had_hidden_themselves there and_they_put stones large over the_mouth_of the_cave until the_substance_of the_day (the)_this.
28 and_DOM Maqqēdāh Yəhōshūˊa he_captured in_the_day (the)_that and_he_struck_it_down to_the_mouth_of the_sword and_DOM king_of_its he_totally_destroyed them and_DOM every_of the_living_creatures who was_in_it not he_left a_survivor and_he/it_made to_the_king_of Maqqēdāh just_as he_had_done to_the_king_of Yərīḩō/(Jericho).
29 And_ Yəhōshūˊa/(Joshua) _he/it_passed_through and_all Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) with_him/it from_Maqqēdāh Liⱱnāh and_he_engaged_in_battle with Liⱱnāh.
30 And_ YHWH _he/it_gave also it in_the_hand_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel)[fn] and_DOM king_of_its and_he_struck_it_down to_the_mouth_of the_sword and_DOM every_of the_living_creatures who was_in_it not he_left in_it a_survivor and_he/it_made to_king_of_its just_as he_had_done to_the_king_of Yərīḩō.
31 and_ Yəhōshūˊa _he/it_passed_through and_all Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) with_him/it from_Liⱱnāh to_Lākīsh and_he_encamped on/upon_it(f) and_he_engaged_in_battle against_it.
32 And_ YHWH _he/it_gave DOM Lākīsh in_the_hand_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_he_captured_it in_the_day the_second and_he_struck_it_down to_the_mouth_of the_sword and_DOM every_of the_living_creatures who was_in_it according_to_all that he_had_done to_Liⱱnāh.
33 then Horām he_came_up the_king_of Gezer to_help DOM Lākīsh and_he_defeated_him Yəhōshūˊa and_DOM people_of_his until not left to_him/it a_survivor.
34 And_ Yəhōshūˊa/(Joshua) _he/it_passed_through and_all Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) with_him/it from_Lākīsh to_ˊEglōn and_they_encamped on/upon_it(f) and_they_engaged_in_battle on_it.
35 And_they_captured_it in_the_day (the)_that and_they_struck_it_down to_the_mouth_of the_sword and_DOM every_of the_living_creatures who was_in_it in_the_day (the)_that he_totally_destroyed according_to_all that he_had_done to_Lākīsh.
36 and_ Yəhōshūˊa _he/it_ascended and_all Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) with_him/it from_ˊEglōn to_Ḩeⱱrōn and_they_engaged_in_battle on_it.
37 And_they_captured_it and_they_struck_it_down to_the_mouth_of the_sword and_DOM king_of_its and_DOM all_of cities_of_its and_DOM every_of the_living_creatures who was_in_it not he_left a_survivor according_to_all that he_had_done to_ˊEglōn and_he_totally_destroyed it and_DOM every_of the_living_creatures who was_in_it.

40 And_ Yəhōshūˊa/(Joshua) _he_defeated DOM all_of the_earth/land the_hill_country and_the_Negeⱱ and_the_Shephelah and_the_slopes and_DOM all_of kings_of_their not he_left a_survivor and_DOM every_of (the)_breathing_thing he_totally_destroyed just_as he_had_commanded YHWH the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
41 And_he_defeated_them Yəhōshūˊa from_Qādēsh- barnēˊa and_unto ˊAzzāh and_DOM all_of the_land_of Goshen and_unto Giⱱˊōn.
42 And_DOM all_of the_kings the_these and_DOM land_of_their Yəhōshūˊa he_captured time_of one if/because YHWH the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) was_fighting for_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
