5 And _ they _ gatheredand _ they _ went_ upthe _ five_ ofthe _ kings_ ofthe _ ʼAmorī the _ king_ ofYə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) the _ king_ ofḨeⱱrōn the _ king_ ofYarmūt the _ king_ ofLākīsh the _ king_ ofˊEglōn they and _ all armies _ of_ their and _ they _ encampedon Giⱱˊōn and _ they _ waged_ waron _ it .

11 And _ he/it _ waswhen _ they _ fled from _ face/in _ front_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) they were _ at_ the _ descent_ ofBēyt Ḩōrōn and _ YHWH he _ threwon _ them stones large from the _ heavens to ˊAzēqāh and _ they _ diedwere _ manythose _ whothey _ diedby _ the _ stones_ ofthe _ hailmore _ than _ those _ whomthey _ killedthe _ people_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) with _ sword .

16 And _ they _ fledthe _ five_ ofthe _ kings the _ these and _ they _ hid_ themselvesin _ cave at _ Maqqēdāh .
17 And _ it _ was_ toldto _ Yə hōshūˊa to _ say they _ have_ been_ foundthe _ five_ ofthe _ kings hidden in _ cave at _ Maqqēdāh .
18 And _ Yə hōshūˊa _ he/it _ saidroll stones large into the _ mouth_ ofthe _ caveand _ appoint on/upon _ it(f) men to _ guard _ them .

32 And _ YHWH _ he/it _ gaveDOM Lākīsh in _ the _ hand_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ he _ captured _ itin _ the_ day the _ second and _ he _ struck _ it_ downto _ the _ mouth _ ofthe _ swordand _ DOM every _ ofthe _ living _ creatureswho was _ in_ it according _ to _ allthat he _ had_ doneto _ Liⱱnāh .
33 then Horām he _ came_ upthe _ king_ ofGezer to _ help DOM Lākīsh and _ he _ defeated _ himYə hōshūˊa and _ DOM people _ of_ his until not left to _ him/it a _ survivor34 And _ Yə hōshūˊa/(Joshua) _ he/it _ passed_ throughand _ all Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) with _ him/it from _ Lākīsh to _ ˊEglōn and _ they _ encampedon/upon _ it(f) and _ they _ engaged_ in_ battleon _ it .

39 And _ he _ captured _ itand _ DOM king _ of_ its and _ DOM all _ ofcities _ of_ its and _ they _ struck _ them_ downto _ the _ mouth _ ofthe _ swordand _ they _ totally_ destroyedDOM every _ ofperson who was _ in_ it not he _ lefta _ survivorjust _ as he _ had_ doneto _ Ḩeⱱrōn so he _ didto _ Də ⱱīr and _ to _ its _ of_ king and _ as _ which he _ had_ doneto _ Liⱱnāh and _ to _ its _ of_ king .
40 And _ Yə hōshūˊa/(Joshua) _ he _ defeatedDOM all _ ofthe _ earth/land the _ hill_ country and _ the _ Negeⱱ and _ the _ Shephelah and _ the _ slopes and _ DOM all _ ofkings _ of_ their not he _ lefta _ survivorand _ DOM every _ of(the) _ breathing_ thing he _ totally_ destroyedjust _ as he _ had_ commandedYHWH the _ god_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
41 And _ he _ defeated _ themYə hōshūˊa from barnēˊa and _ unto ˊAzzāh and _ DOM all _ ofthe _ land_ ofGoshen and _ unto Giⱱˊōn .
42 And _ DOM all _ ofthe _ kings the _ these and _ DOM land _ of_ their Yə hōshūˊa he _ capturedtime _ ofone if/because YHWH the _ god_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) was _ fightingfor _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
