TSNTyndale Study Notes:

Ps 122 Jerusalem is here idealized as the city of God, the city of David, and the city of faith. A group of people on a pilgrimage joyfully arrive in the city (122:1-2). The psalmist sings an ode to Jerusalem (122:3-5) and prays for the city’s peace (122:6-9).

UTNuW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / metonymy

אַחַ֣י

brothers,my

The author is using the term brothers to mean his fellow Israelites. If it would be helpful to your readers, you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: “my fellow Israelites”
