90.3 De laqueo. ID. Tentatio, vel per facta, quæ hic dicitur laqueus; vel per verba quæ hic, a verbo aspero; quasi, etsi leve videatur, grave tamen est verbo tentari. Laqueus, versutiæ spiritualium, vel carnalium inimicorum; verbum asperum, omne dictum, quod movet a regulis divinis. AUG. De laqueo venantium, dæmonum, qui non in via Christo, sed circa, ad dexteram vel sinistram, tendunt laqueos. 90.3 De laqueo. ID. Tentatio, or per facta, which this it_is_said laqueus; or per verba which hic, a verbo aspero; quasi, etsi leve videatur, grave tamen it_is verbo tentari. Laqueus, versutiæ spiritualium, or carnalium inimicorum; verbum asperum, omne dictum, that movet a regulis divinis. AUG. De laqueo venantium, dæmonum, who not/no in road Christo, but circa, to dexteram or sinistram, tendunt laqueos. In which and per verbum asperum cadunt aliqui, as who nolunt esse Christi, propter insultantes Christiano nomini, and who timent detractiones hominum, as cessent a road God.

This implies that just as God created the first man, Adam, from the soil, God will cause people’s bodies to turn back into soil after they die. Alternate translation: “You return people to dust when they die”
