7 Therefore these having the promises, beloved, we _may _cleanse ourselves from every defilement of _flesh and spirit, accomplishing holiness in the_reverence of_god.
2 Have _room for _us, no _one we _did _wrong, no _one we _corrupted, no _one we _exploited.
3 For/Because condemnation not I _am _speaking, because/for I _have _previously _said that you _all _are, in the hearts of _us in _order that to _die _together and to _be _living _together.
4 Great is to _me boldness toward you _all, great is to _me boasting for you _all, I _have _been _filled the with _exhortation, I _am _being _overflowed the with _joy in all the tribulation of _us.
5 For/Because also having _come of _us into Makedonia, not _one has _had relaxation the flesh of _us, but in everything being _oppressed, outside quarrels, inside fears.
6 But the one comforting the humble, comforted us the god by the coming of _Titos, 7 not and only by the coming of _him, but also by the comfort with _which he _was _comforted in you _all, declaring to _us the of _you _all longing, the of _you _all mourning, the of _you _all zeal for me, so _as for _me more to _be _elated.
8 Because if also I _sorrowed you _all in the letter, not I _am _regretting it.
if even I _was _regretting it (I _am _seeing that the letter that, if even for an_hour sorrowed you _all) 9 now I _am _rejoicing not that you _all _were _sorrowed, but that you _all _were _sorrowed into repentance, because/for you _all _were _sorrowed according _to god, in _order _that in nothing you _all _may _be _lost by us.
10 For/Because the according _to god sorrow, repentance to salvation unregrettable is _producing, and the of _the world sorrow, death is _producing.
11 For/Because see same thing this which according _to god to _be _sorrowed, how _much it _produced in _you _all earnestness:
but what defense, but what resentment, but what fear, but what longing, but what zeal, but what vengeance.
In everything you _all _demonstrated yourselves pure to _be in _the matter.
12 Consequently if also I _wrote to _you _all, not on _account the one having _done _wrong, nor on _account the one having _been _done _wrong, but on _account the thing to _be _revealed the earnestness of _you _all, which is for us to you _all before the god.
13 Because _of this we _have _been _comforted.
And to the comfort of _us, more _abundantly rather we _were _elated at the joy of _Titos, because has _been _refreshed the spirit of _him by all of _you.
14 Because if anything to _him about you _all I _have _boasted, not I _was _disgraced, but as all things in truth we _spoke to _you _all, thus also the boasting of _us to Titos truth was _become.
15 And the compassions of _him more _abundantly toward you _all is, being _reminded the of _all of _you obedience, how with fear and trembling you _all _received him.
16 I _am _rejoicing that in everything, I _am _having _confidence in you _all.
