Normally the OET discourages the reading of individual ‘verses’, but this view is only designed as a tool for doing comparisons of different translations. Click on any Bible version abbreviation down the left-hand side to see the verse in more of its context. The OET segments on this page are still very early looks into the unfinished texts of the Open English Translation of the Bible. Please double-check these texts in advance before using in public.

TSNTyndale Study Notes:

7:13b-16 The way the Corinthians had welcomed and obeyed Titus as Paul’s agent endeared the Corinthians to Titus and delighted Paul. The crisis at Corinth was over, and Paul had complete confidence that all was well.

UTNuW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / explicit

θαρρῶ ἐν ὑμῖν

˱I˲_˓am˒_having_confidence in you_all

The implication is that Paul is confident that the Corinthians are doing what is right or proper. You could include this information if that would be helpful to your readers. Alternate translation: [I am confident that you do what is proper]
