103 Bless Yahweh with my entire self,

≈and everything that’s within me, bless him because he’s sinless.

and don’t forget all of his kindnesses.

3 He forgives all your acts of disobedience.

≈He heals you from all your diseases.

He honours you with his compassion and loyal commitment.

≈or repay us according to how much we disobeyed.

11 Just as the heavens are far above the earth,

so his loyal commitment is strong towards those who obey him.

12 As far as the east is from the west,

he’s removed the guilt for our disobedience that far away.

13 Yahweh has compassion on those who obey him,

just like a father has compassion on his children

14 because he knows how we’re made—

remembering that we’re just dust.

15 As for humankind, their days are like grass that comes and goes.

≈People are like flowers in the countryside that are here today and gone tomorrow

16 because the wind blows across them and they’re finished

≈then the next day you can’t even tell where they were.

17 But Yahweh’s loyal commitment to those who honour him continues forever,

≈and he gives his favour through to their children’s children—

18 to the people who keep his agreement,

≈and all those who are careful to obey his instructions.

19 Yahweh has established his throne in the heavens,

≈and his kingdom rules over everyone.

20 Bless Yahweh, you his heavenly messengers,

you heavenly warrriors,

obeying whatever he says.

21 Bless Yahweh, all his heavenly warriors—

his servants who do whatever he wants.

22 Bless Yahweh, everything he’s made,

in all the places where he rules.
