106.6 And he_led. AUG. As_if, rescued from/about ignorance; showing way/road, Christ/Messiah. Behold delivered them away by_mistake; from/about hunger however and thirst to_whom they_were_boiling, how/as may_have_freed, after he_will_say; but precedes from/about confession.

The psalmist is using the adjective distressing as a noun to mean a certain kind of situation. Your language may use adjectives in the same way. If not, you can translate this adjective with an equivalent phrase. Alternate translation: [in their distress]
