ULT then you shall do to him as he had planned to do to his brother, and you shall remove the evil from among you.

UST that person must be punished in the same way that the other one would have been punished if the judges had decided that he was guilty. By punishing such people, you will get rid of this evil practice from among you.

The implication is that the false witness must receive the punishment for the sin that he had accused his brother of doing.
