22 And_they _made _king of _Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) the _inhabitants _of DOM ʼAḩaz^yāh son _of_his the_small(sg) in_place _of _him if/because all _of the _former_sons it _had _killed the _marauding_band which_came with_ˊArāⱱī to_camp and_ ʼAḩaz^yāh _he _became _king the _son _of Yəhōrām/(Jehoram) the _king _of Yəhūdāh/(Judah).

2 was_a _son _of forty and_two year[s] ʼAḩaz^yāh when_he_became _king and_a _year one he _reigned in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_name _of his/its_mother was_ˊAtal^yāh the _daughter _of ˊĀmərī.

3 Also he he _walked in_the _ways _of the _house _of ʼAḩʼāⱱ if/because his/its_mother she _was counsellor _of_his_female to_act _wickedly.

4 And_he/it _made the_evil in/on_both _eyes _of YHWH like_the _house _of ʼAḩʼāⱱ if/because they they _were to_him/it counsellors after the _death _of his/its_father to_destruction to_him/it.

5 Also in_counsel _of_their he _walked and_he/it _went with Yəhōrām the _son _of ʼAḩʼāⱱ the _king _of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) for_battle on Ḩₐzā^ʼēl the _king _of ʼArām at_Rāmot- gilˊād and_they _wounded the_ʼArām DOM Yəhōrām/(Joram).

6 And_he _returned to_get _himself _healed in_Yizrəˊ^ʼēl/(Jezreel) if/because the_wounds which they_had _wounded _him at_Rāmāh when_fought_he with Ḩₐzā^ʼēl the _king _of ʼArām and_ˊAzar^yāh the _son _of Yəhōrām the _king _of Yəhūdāh he _went _down to_see DOM Yəhōrām the _son _of ʼAḩʼāⱱ in_Yizrəˊ^ʼēl/(Jezreel) if/because was_sick he.

7 And_from_god it _was the _downfall _of ʼAḩaz^yāh by_going to Yəhōrām and_when_went_he he _went _out with Yəhōrām/(Jehoram) to Yēhūʼ/(Jehu) the _son _of Nimshiy whom he_had _anointed _him YHWH to_cut _off DOM the _house _of ʼAḩʼāⱱ.

8 And_he/it _was just_as _entered _into _judgement Yēhūʼ with the _house _of ʼAḩʼāⱱ and_he _found DOM the _officials _of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_the _sons of _the _brothers _of of _ʼAḩaz^yāh serving (to)_ʼAḩaz^yāh and_he_killed _them.

9 And_he/it _sought DOM ʼAḩaz^yāh and_people_captured _him and_he was_hiding _himself in_Shomrōn and_they_brought _him to Yēhūʼ and_they_put _him _to _death and_they_buried _him if/because they _said was_the _son _of Yəhōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) he who he _sought DOM YHWH in_all heart _of_his and_there_is_not to_the _house _of ʼAḩaz^yāh to_retain strength for_kingship.

10 And_ˊAtal^yāh the _mother _of ʼAḩaz^yāh she _saw if/because _that he _was _dead son _of_her and_she/it _arose and_she _destroyed DOM all _of the _offspring _of (the)_royalty of_the _house _of of _Yəhūdāh.

11 And_ Yəhōshaⱱˊat/(Jehoshabeath) _she/it _took the _daughter _of the_king DOM Yōʼāsh/(Joash) the _son _of ʼAḩaz^yāh and_she _stole DOM_him/it from_among _of the _sons _of the_king who_were_about _to _be _put _to _death and_she/it _gave DOM_him/it and_DOM nurse _of_his in_the _chamber _of the _beds and_she_hid _him Yəhōshaⱱˊat/(Jehoshabeath) the _daughter _of the_king Yəhōrām/(Jehoram) the _wife _of Yəhōyādāˊ/(Jehoiada) the_priest/officer if/because she she _was the _sister _of ʼAḩaz^yāh from_face/in _front _of ˊAtal^yāh and_not she_put _him _to _death.

12 And_he/it _was with_them in_house _of the_ʼElohīm hiding _himself six years and_ˊAtal^yāh was_reigning over the_earth/land.
