3 And _ ʼAḩʼāⱱ _ he/it _ saidthe _ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) to Yə hōshāfāţ the _ king_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) will _ you _ gowith _ me Rāmot Gilˊād and _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it as _ me as _ you and _ will _ be _ of_ as _ your_ peoplepeople _ of_ my and _ with _ you in _ battle .
4 And _ Yə hōshāfāţ _ he/it _ saidto the _ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) seek please as _ day DOM the _ message_ ofYHWH 5 And _ the _ king_ of_ he _ gatheredof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)DOM the _ prophets four hundred(s) man and _ he/it _ saidto _ them will _ we _ goagainst Rāmot Gilˊād for _ battle or will _ I_ refrainand _ they _ saidgo _ upand _ he _ will_ give_ the _ ʼElohīm in _ the _ hand_ ofthe _ king6 And _ Yə hōshāfāţ _ he/it _ saidis _ there_ not here a _ prophetto/for _ YHWH still so _ that _ we_ may_ enquirefrom _ DOM _ him .
7 And _ the _ king_ of_ he/it _ saidof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)to Yə hōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) still a _ manone to _ consult DOM YHWH from _ DOM _ him and _ I I _ hate _ himif/because not _ he is _ prophesyingon _ me (to) _ good if/because all _ ofhis/its _ days (to) _ evil he is _ Mīkāyə hūthe _ son_ ofYimlāʼ/(Imlah) and _ Yə hōshāfāţ _ he/it _ saidnot let _ him_ speakthe _ king thus .
8 And _ the _ king_ of_ he/it _ calledof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)(to) a _ court-officialone and _ he/it _ saidbring _ quicklyMīkāyə hū [fn ] the _ son_ ofYimlāʼ .
9 And _ the _ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ Yə hōshāfāţ the _ king_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) were _ sittingeach on throne _ of_ his they _ were _ clothedgarments and _ they _ were _ sittingat _ the _ threshing_ floorthe _ entrance_ ofthe _ gate_ ofShomrōn and _ all the _ prophets were _ prophesyingbefore _ them .
10 And _ he/it _ madeto _ him/it Tsidqiyyāh /(Zedekiah) the _ son_ ofə naˊₐnāh/(Chenaanah) horns _ ofiron [fn ] and _ he/it _ saidthus YHWH he _ sayswith _ these you _ will_ goreDOM ʼArām until destroy _ them .
11 And _ all the _ prophets were _ prophesyingthus to _ say go _ upRāmot Gilˊād and _ succeed and _ he/it _ gaveYHWH in _ the _ hand_ ofthe _ king12 And _ the _ messenger who he _ had_ goneto _ call (to) _ Mīkāyə hū he _ spoketo _ him/it to _ say here the _ words/messages_ ofthe _ prophetsare _ a_ mouthone good concerning the _ king and _ let _ it_ beplease message _ of_ your like _ one from _ them and _ you _ will_ speakgood .
13 And _ Mīkāyə hū _ he/it _ saidby _ the_ lifeof _ YHWH if/because DOM that _ whichhe _ will_ saygod _ of_ my DOM _ him/it I _ will_ speak14 And _ he _ cameto the _ king and _ he/it _ saidthe _ king to _ him/it Oh _ Mīkāhwill _ we _ goagainst Rāmot Gilˊād for _ battle or will _ I_ refrainand _ he/it _ saidgo _ upand _ succeed and _ they _ will_ be_ givenin _ your _ of_ hand .
15 And _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it the _ king until how _ many times will _ Imake _ of_ you _ swear(cmp) not you _ will_ speakto _ me only truth in/on _ name _ ofYHWH 16 And _ he/it _ saidI _ sawDOM all _ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) scattered on the _ mountains like _ flock which there _ is _ notfor _ them a _ shepherdand _ YHWH _ he/it _ saidnot masters belong _ to_ these let _ them_ returneach to _ his _ own_ of_ house in _ peace .
17 And _ the _ king_ of_ he/it _ saidof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)to Yə hōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) not did _ I_ sayto _ you not he _ prophesieson _ me good if/because (if) (to) _ evil .
18 and _ he/it _ saidfor _ so/thus/hence hear the _ message_ ofYHWH I _ sawDOM YHWH sitting on throne _ of_ his and _ all the _ host_ ofthe _ heavens standing on hand _ of_ his _ rightand _ his _ left_ of_ hand .
19 And _ YHWH _ he/it _ saidwho will _ he_ deceiveDOM ʼAḩʼāⱱ the _ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) so _ that _ he_ will_ go_ upand _ so _ that_ he_ will_ fallat gilˊād and _ he/it _ saidthis _ was _ sayingthus and _ this was _ sayingthus .
20 And _ he/it _ went_ outthe _ spirit and _ it _ stoodto _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforeYHWH and _ he/it _ saidI I _ will _ deceive_ himand _ YHWH _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it how .
21 And _ he/it _ saidI _ will_ go_ outand _ I _ will_ beto/for _ wind/breath/spirit falsehood in _ the _ mouth_ ofall _ ofprophets _ of_ his and _ he/it _ saidyou _ will_ deceiveand _ also you _ will_ prevailgo _ outand _ do thus .
22 And _ now here he _ has_ putYHWH a _ spirit_ offalsehood in _ the _ mouth_ ofyour(pl) _ prophets_ of_ of these and _ YHWH he _ has_ spokenon _ you calamity .
23 and _ Tsidqiyyāh /(Zedekiah) _ he _ drew_ nearthe _ son_ ofə naˊₐnāh/(Chenaanah) and _ he _ struckDOM Mīkāyə hū on the _ cheek and _ he/it _ saidwhere this is _ the_ way which _ it_ passed_ onthe _ spirit_ ofYHWH from _ with _ me to _ speak with _ you .
24 And _ Mīkāyə hū _ he/it _ saidthere _ you are _ about_ to_ seein _ the_ day (the) _ that when you _ will_ goa _ roomin _ a _ roomto _ hide _ yourself25 And _ the _ king_ of_ he/it _ saidof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)take DOM Mīkāyə hū and _ return _ him to ʼĀmōn the _ official_ ofthe _ city and _ near/to Yōʼāsh/(Joash) the _ son_ ofthe _ king26 And _ you(pl) _ will_ saythus he _ saysthe _ king put this _ the _ house_ of(the) _ imprisonment and _ feed _ him bread oppression and _ water oppression until I _ return in _ peace .
27 And _ Mīkāyə hū _ he/it _ saidif ever _ (return)you _ will_ returnin _ peace not he _ has_ spokenYHWH by _ me and _ he/it _ saidlisten Oh _ peoplesof _ them_ of_ all .
28 and _ the _ king_ of_ he/it _ ascendedof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)and _ Yə hōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) the _ king_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) against Rāmot Gilˊād .
29 And _ the _ king_ of_ he/it _ saidof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)to Yə hōshāfāţ I _ will_ disguise_ myselfand _ I _ will_ goin _ battle and _ you(ms) wear clothes _ of_ your _ ownand _ the _ king_ of_ he _ disguised_ himselfof _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)and _ they _ camein _ battle .
30 And _ the _ king_ ofʼArām he _ had_ commandedDOM the _ commanders_ ofthe _ chariotrywhich to _ him/it to _ say not you(pl) _ must_ do_ battlewith the _ small(sg) with the _ great if/because (if) with the _ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) for _ him/it _ being _ alone31 And _ he/it _ wasjust _ as _ sawthe _ commanders_ ofthe _ chariotryDOM Yə hōshāfāţ and _ they they _ saidis _ the_ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) it and _ they _ surroundedon/upon/above _ him/it to _ do _ battleand _ Yə hōshāfāţ _ he _ cried_ outand _ YHWH he _ helped _ himand _ he _ lured _ themgod away _ from _ him32 And _ he/it _ wasjust _ as _ sawthe _ commanders_ ofthe _ chariotryif/because _ thatnot it _ wasthe _ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ they _ turned_ backfrom _ after _ him .
33 And _ someone he _ drewon _ bow to _ his _ of_ innocence and _ he _ struckDOM the _ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) between the _ scales and _ between the _ body_ armour and _ he/it _ saidto _ charioteer turn _ aroundhand _ of_ your [fn ] and _ you _ will _ take_ me_ outfrom the _ camp if/because I _ have_ been_ wounded34 And _ it _ went_ upthe _ battle in _ the_ day (the) _ that and _ the _ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) he _ washolding _ uprightin _ chariot opposite _ toʼArām until the _ evening and _ he/it _ diedto _ the _ timewas _ goingthe _ sun .
