6 And _ in/on/at/with _ cities _ ofMə nashsheh and _ ʼEfrayim and _ Shimˊōn and _ unto Naftālī in/on/at/with in _ ruins _ of[fn ] all _ around7 And _ tore _ downDOM the _ altars and _ DOM the _ ʼₐshērāh _ polesand _ the _ idols he _ crushedto _ powder and _ all the _ incense _ altarshe _ cut_ downin _ all the _ land_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ returned to _ Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) .
8 and _ in _ year _ ofeight- teen of _ reign _ his in _ order_ to_ purged the _ earth/land and _ the _ house he _ sentDOM Shāfān the _ son_ ofʼAʦalyāh ū and _ DOM sēyāh the _ official_ ofthe _ city and _ DOM Yōʼāḩ/(Joah) the _ son_ ofYōʼāḩaz the _ recorder to _ repair DOM the _ house_ ofYHWH his/its _ god .

11 And _ gave to _ the_ carpenters and _ to _ the_ builders to _ buy stones _ ofhewing and _ timber for _ the_ binders and _ for _ beams DOM the _ buildings which they _ had_ ruinedthe _ kings_ ofYə hūdāh .
12 And _ the _ men were _ workingin/on/at/with _ integrity in/on/at/with _ work and _ over _ them Yaḩat/(Jahath) were _ appointedand _ ˊOⱱadyāh the _ Lēviyyiy of the _ descendants_ ofMə rārī and _ Zə karyāh and _ Mə shullām of the _ descendants_ ofthe _ Qə hātites to _ supervisors and _ the _ Lēviyyiy every _ ofone _ who_ was_ skilledin/on/at/with _ instruments _ ofsong .
13 And _ over the _ porters and _ supervised to _ all/each/any/every doer _ ofwork in _ job and _ job and _ some _ of_ the _ Lēviyyiy were _ scribesand _ officials and _ gatekeepers .

16 And _ Shāfān _ he/it _ broughtDOM the _ book to the _ king and _ reported again DOM the _ king message to _ say all that it _ was_ givenin/on/at/with _ hands _ ofyour _ servants they are _ doing17 And _ emptied _ outDOM the _ money the _ found in _ house _ ofYHWH and _ delivered _ it on the _ hand_ ofthe _ overseers and _ to the _ hand_ ofthe _ doers_ ofthe _ work .
18 And _ Shāfān _ told the _ secretary to/for _ the _ kingto _ a _ scroll_ say he _ has_ givento _ me Ḩilqiyyāh the _ priest/officer and _ he/it _ calledin _ him/it Shāfān to _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforethe _ king .

22 and _ Ḩilqiyyāh _ he/it _ wentand _ which the _ king to Ḩuldāh the _ prophetess the _ wife_ ofShallūm the _ son_ ofTokhath [fn ] the _ son_ ofHasrah the _ keeper_ ofthe _ wardrobe and _ she was _ dwellingin/on/at/with _ Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) in/on/at/with _ second and _ spoke to _ her/it to _ this .

24 thus YHWH he _ sayssee _ I am _ about_ to_ bringcalamity on the _ place the _ this and _ upon inhabitants _ of_ its DOM all _ ofthe _ curses the _ written on the _ book which people _ have_ read_ aloudto _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforethe _ king_ ofYə hūdāh .
25 Because that abandoned _ me and _ burned _ incense[fn ] [fn ] to _ gods other so _ asprovoke _ toanger_ me in/on/at/with _ all _ ofthe _ works_ ofhands _ of_ their and _ poured _ outsevere _ anger_ of_ my in/on/at/with _ place the _ this and _ not it _ will_ be_ quenched26 And _ near/to the _ king_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) the _ sent DOM _ you _ allto _ inquire in/on/at/with _ LORD thus you _ all_ will_ sayto _ him/it thus YHWH he _ saysthe _ god_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) the _ messages which you _ have_ heard27 Because it _ was_ softheart _ of_ your and _ humbled from _ to/for _ face/front/presence god in/on/at/with _ heard _ you DOM messages _ of_ his on the _ place the _ this and _ against inhabitants _ of_ its and _ humbled to/for _ my _ face/front and _ tore DOM clothes _ of_ your and _ wept in _ presence _ of_ me and _ also I I _ have_ heardthe _ utterance_ ofYHWH 28 Behold _ I gather _ of_ you to fathers _ of_ your and _ gathered to grave _ of_ your in/on/at/with _ peace and _ not eyes _ of_ your they _ will_ lookin/on/at/with _ all _ ofthe _ disaster which I will _ bringon the _ place the _ this and _ on inhabitants _ of_ its and _ brought _ backDOM the _ king message .
