10 and_we YHWH god _of_is_our and_not we_have _abandoned _him and_are_priests who_serve to/for_YHWH the _descendants _of ʼAhₐron and_the_Lēviyyiy are_in_work.

11 And_they_are_making _smoke to/for_YHWH burnt _offerings in_morning in_morning and_in_evening in_evening and_incense _of perfume(s) and_the_row _of bread was_on the_table (the)_clean and_the _lampstand _of the_gold and_lamps _of_its to_burn in_evening in_evening if/because are_keeping we DOM the _duty _of YHWH god _of_our and_you(pl) you(pl)_have _abandoned DOM_him/it.

12 And_BEHOLD/LO/SEE is_with_us at_head the_ʼElohīm and_priests _of_his and_the _trumpets _of the _alarm to_sound _the _battle _signal on_you(pl) Oh _people _of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) do _not do _battle with YHWH the _god _of your(pl)_ancestors _of_your(pl) if/because not you(pl)_will _succeed.

13 And_Yārāⱱəˊām/(Jeroboam) he _had _caused _to _go _round DOM the_ambush to_come from_behind_them and_they _were to_(the)_face _of/in _front _of/before Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_the_ambush was_from_behind_them.

14 And_ Yəhūdāh _they _turned and_BEHOLD/LO/SEE to/for_them the_battle before and_behind and_they _cried _out to/for_YHWH and_the_priests were_blowing _a _trumpet[fn] on_trumpets.

15 And_ the _man _of _they _sounded _the _battle _signal of _Yəhūdāh and_he/it _was when_sounded _the _battle _signal the _man _of Yəhūdāh and_(the)_god he _defeated DOM Yārāⱱəˊām and_all Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) to_(the)_face _of/in _front _of/before ʼAⱱiy^yāh and_Yəhūdāh/(Yihudah).

16 And_ the _people _of _they _fled of _Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) from_face/in _front _of Yəhūdāh and_he_gave _them god in_hand _of_their.

17 And_they _defeated in/among_them ʼAⱱiy^yāh and_people _of_his a _defeat great and_they _fell slain of_Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) five hundred(s) thousand man chosen.

18 And_ the _people _of _they _were _humbled of _Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) at_time (the)_that and_ the _people _of _they _were _strong of _Yəhūdāh if/because they _depended on YHWH the _god _of their _ancestors _of_their.

19 And_ ʼAⱱiy^yāh _he _pursued after Yārāⱱəˊām/(Jeroboam) and_he _captured from_him/it cities DOM Bēyt- ^ʼēl and_DOM daughters _of_its and_DOM Yəshānāh/(Jeshanah) and_DOM daughters _of_its and_DOM ˊEfrōn[fn] and_daughters _of_its.

20 And_not the _strength _of he _retained of _Yārāⱱəˊām again in_the _days _of ʼAⱱiy^yāh and_he_struck _him YHWH and_he/it _died.

21 and_ ʼAⱱiy^yāh _he _strengthened _himself and_he _took to_him/it wives four- teen and_he/it _fathered twenty and_two sons and_six- teen daughters.

22 and_the _rest _of the _matters _of ʼAⱱiy^yāh and_ways _of_his and_words/messages _of_his are_written in_the _record _of the _prophet ˊIddō.
