4 And _ Yə hūdāh _ assembled to _ seek from _ LORD also from _ all the _ cities_ ofYə hūdāh they _ cameto _ seek DOM YHWH 5 And _ Yə hōshāfāţ _ stood in/on/at/with _ assembly _ ofYə hūdāh and _ Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) in _ house _ ofYHWH to _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforethe _ courtyard the _ new .
6 And _ said Oh _ YHWH the _ god_ ofancestors _ of_ our not [are] _ youhe god in/on/at/with _ heaven and _ you(ms) [are] _ rulingin/on/at/with _ all _ ofthe _ kingdoms_ ofthe _ nations and _ in/on/at/with _ hand _ of_ your power and _ might and _ no against _ you to _ stand .
7 Not you god _ of_ our did _ you_ dispossessDOM the _ inhabitants_ ofthe _ earth/land the _ this from _ to/for _ face/front/presence people _ of_ your Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ give _ it to _ descendants _ ofʼAⱱrāhām friend _ of_ your to _ forever .
8 And _ they _ livedin/on/at/with _ it and _ built to/for _ yourself(m) in/on/at/with _ it a _ sanctuaryfor _ name _ of_ your to _ say .
9 If it _ will_ comeupon _ us calamity sword judgement and _ pestilence and _ famine we _ will_ standto _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/before[fn ] the _ house the _ this and _ in _ presence _ of_ you if/because name _ of_ your in/on/at/with _ house the _ this and _ cry _ outto _ you in _ distress _ of_ our and _ hear and _ save .
10 And _ now here the _ people_ ofˊAmmōn and _ Mōʼāⱱ and _ mount _ ofSēˊīr which not you _ permittedto _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) to _ invade in/among _ them in/on/at/with _ came _ they from _ land _ ofMiʦrayim/(Egypt) if/because they _ turned_ asidefrom _ against _ them and _ not destroy _ them .
11 And _ see/lo/see they [are] _ repayingto _ us by _ coming to _ drive _ out_ us of _ possession _ of_ your which gave _ asan_ inheritance_ us .

14 and _ Yahaʦ/(Jahaz)iel the _ son_ ofZə karyāh the _ son_ ofBə nāyāh the _ son_ ofJeiel the _ son_ ofMattanyāh the _ Lēviyyiy one _ ofthe _ descendants_ ofʼĀşāf it _ wason/upon/above _ him/it the _ spirit_ ofYHWH in _ the_ middle the _ assembly .
15 And _ he/it _ saidpay _ attentionOh _ all_ ofYə hūdāh and _ inhabitants _ ofYə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) and _ the _ king Yə hōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) thus YHWH he _ saysto/for _ you _ allyou _ alldo _ notbe _ afraidand _ not be _ dismayedfrom _ face/in _ front_ ofthe _ multitude the _ great the _ this if/because not to/for _ you _ allthe _ battle if/because to _ god’s .
16 Tomorrow go _ downagainst _ them see _ they [will _ be]_ coming_ upin/on/at/with _ ascent _ ofthe _ Ziz and _ find DOM _ them in/on/at/with _ end _ ofthe _ valley the _ face_ ofthe _ wilderness_ ofJeruel .

20 And _ rose _ earlyin/on/at/with _ morning and _ they _ went_ outto _ wilderness _ ofTə qōˊī and _ in/on/at/with _ went _ out_ they Yə hōshāfāţ he _ stoodand _ he/it _ saidhear _ me Oh _ Yə hūdāhand _ inhabitants _ ofYə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) trust in/on/at/with _ LORD god _ of_ your _ all’sand _ established trust in/on/at/with _ prophets _ of_ his and _ succeed .
21 And _ taken _ counsel(to) the _ people and _ appointed [those _ who]_ sangto/for _ YHWH and _ praise in _ splendor _ ofholiness in/on/at/with _ went _ outto _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/beforethe _ army and _ saying give _ thanksto/for _ YHWH if/because to _ forever steadfast _ love_ of_ his .
22 And _ in/on/at/with _ moment [when] _ they_ beganin/on/at/with _ sing and _ praise YHWH he _ setambushers on the _ people_ ofˊAmmōn Mōʼāⱱ and _ mount _ ofSēˊīr the _ (ones _ who)_ wentagainst _ Yə hūdāh and _ defeated .
23 And _ the _ people_ of_ they _ stoodof _ ˊAmmōnand _ Mōʼāⱱ on of _ the_ mountain_ ofthe _ inhabitants_ ofSēˊīr to _ destroy and _ to _ annihilated and _ when _ finished _ they in/on/at/with _ inhabitants _ ofSēˊīr they _ helpedeach in/on/at/with _ another _ of_ his to _ destroy .
24 And _ Yə hūdāh/(Yihudah) it _ cameto the _ watchtower of _ the_ wilderness and _ looked to the _ multitude and _ see _ they [were] _ corpsesfallen towards _ land and _ no an _ escaped_ remnant25 And _ Yə hōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) _ came and _ people _ of_ his to _ take DOM booty _ of_ their and _ they _ foundin/among _ them to _ increase _ in_ numberand _ goods and _ bodies and _ things _ ofpreciousness(es) and _ took to/for _ them until _ no _ morecarrying and _ they _ weredays three plundering DOM the _ booty if/because [was] _ muchit .
26 And _ in/on/at/with _ day the _ fourth they _ assembledin _ valley _ ofBerachah if/because there they _ blessedDOM YHWH on/upon/above/on _ account_ of//he/it_ went_ inyes/correct/thus/so people _ have_ calledDOM the _ name_ ofthe _ place (the) _ that the _ valley_ ofBerachah until the _ day .
27 And _ every _ of_ returned (the) _ man_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) and _ Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) and _ Yə hōshāfāţ in/on/at/with _ head _ of_ their in _ returning to Yə rūshālam in/on/at/with _ joy if/because rejoice _ them YHWH over _ enemies _ of_ their .
28 And _ they _ cameYə rūshālam in/on/at/with _ harps and _ in/on/at/with _ lyres and _ in/on/at/with _ trumpets to the _ house_ ofYHWH 29 And _ the _ dread_ of_ he/it _ wasgod on all _ ofthe _ kingdoms_ ofthe _ countries in/on/at/with _ heard _ they if/because _ thatYHWH he _ had_ foughtwith the _ enemies_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
30 And _ the _ kingdom_ of_ at _ peaceof _ Yə hōshāfāţand _ gave _ restto _ him/it his/its _ god on _ all _ sides31 and _ Yə hōshāfāţ _ reigned over Yə hūdāh a _ son_ ofthirty and _ five year[s] in/on/at/with _ became _ king_ he and _ twenty and _ five year[s] he _ reignedin/on/at/with _ Yə rūshālam and _ name _ ofhis/its _ mother [was] _ ˊAzūⱱāhthe _ daughter_ ofShilḩī .
32 And _ he/it _ wentin/on/at/with _ way _ ofhis/its _ father ʼĀşāʼ and _ not he _ turned_ asidefrom _ her/it for _ doing the _ right in/on _ both _ eyes_ ofYHWH 33 Only the _ high _ placesnot they _ were_ removedand _ yet the _ people not hearts _ of_ their they _ directedon _ god _ ofancestors _ of_ their .
34 And _ rest _ ofthe _ matters_ ofYə hōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) the _ first and _ the _ last see _ they [are] _ writtenin/on/at/with _ annals _ ofYēhūʼ/(Jehu) the _ son_ ofnānī which it _ was_ recordedon the _ scroll_ ofthe _ kings_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
35 And _ after so [fn ] Yə hōshāfāţ he _ made_ an_ alliancethe _ king_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) with ʼAḩazyāh the _ king_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) he he _ acted_ wickedlyfor _ doing .
36 And _ joined _ him with _ him/it for _ doing ships to _ go Tarshiysh and _ they _ madeships in/on/at/with _ Ezion- geber .
37 And _ ʼElīˊezer _ prophesied the _ son_ ofDodavahu of _ Mareshah on Yə hōshāfāţ to _ say because _ joined _ you with ʼAḩazyāh YHWH he _ will_ breakDOM what _ havemade_ of_ you and _ ships _ wrecked and _ not they _ retainedto _ go to Tarshiysh .
