4 And _ Ben _ he/it _ listened[fn ] Hₐdad to the _ king ʼĀşāʼ and _ he _ sentDOM the _ commanders_ ofthe _ armieswhich to _ him/it against the _ cities_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ they _ attackedDOM ˊIyyōn and _ DOM Dān and _ DOM ʼAⱱēl Mayim and _ DOM all _ ofthe _ stores_ ofthe _ cities_ ofNaftālī .
5 And _ he/it _ wasjust _ as _ heardBaˊshāʼ and _ he _ ceasedfrom _ building DOM (the) _ Rāmāh and _ he _ caused_ to_ ceaseDOM their _ property/content .
6 and _ ʼĀşāʼ the _ king he _ tookDOM all _ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) and _ they _ carried_ offDOM the _ stones_ of(the) _ Rāmāh and _ DOM wood(s) _ of_ its which he _ had_ builtBaˊshāʼ and _ he/it _ built(is) _ in_ them DOM Geⱱaˊ and _ DOM (the) _ Miʦpāh .
7 and _ at _ time (the) _ that Ḩₐnānī he _ camethe _ seer to ʼĀşāʼ the _ king_ ofYə hūdāh and _ he/it _ saidto _ him/it because _ you _ depended on the _ king_ ofʼArām and _ not you _ dependedon YHWH god _ of_ your therefore yes/correct/thus/so it _ has_ escapedthe _ army_ ofthe _ king_ ofʼArām from _ your(ms) _ hand .
8 Not the _ Kūshiy/(Cushi)tes and _ the _ Lūⱱī were _ they(to) _ an_ army to _ increase _ in_ number(to) _ chariotry and _ (to) _ horsemen to _ abundance exceedingly and _ because _ you _ depended on YHWH he _ gave _ themin _ your _ of_ hand .
9 If/because YHWH eyes _ of_ his are _ roving_ aboutin _ all the _ earth/land to _ show _ himself_ strongwith who _ their_ heart_ of_ those is _ completeto _ him/it you _ have_ acted_ foolishlyon this if/because from _ now there _ will _ bewith _ you wars .
10 And _ ʼĀşāʼ _ he _ was_ angryagainst the _ seer and _ he _ put _ himthe _ house_ ofthe _ stock[s]if/because in _ a _ ragewith _ him/it on this and _ ʼĀşāʼ _ he _ crushedsome _ ofthe _ people at _ time (the) _ that .
11 And _ see/lo/see the _ matters_ ofʼĀşāʼ (the) _ former and _ (the) _ latter there _ they are _ writtenon the _ scroll_ ofthe _ kingsof _ Yə hūdāh/(Judah) and _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
