3 And _ he/it _ gaveto/for _ them father _ of_ their gifts many of _ silver and _ of _ gold and _ of _ valuable _ possessionswith cities _ offortifications in/on/at/with _ Yə hūdāh and _ DOM the _ kingdom he _ gaveto _ Yə hōrām if/because he the _ firstborn .
4 and _ Yə hōrām _ he/it _ rose_ upover the _ kingdom_ ofhis/its _ father and _ strengthened and _ killed DOM all _ ofbrothers _ of_ his in/on/at/with _ sword and _ also some _ of_ princes _ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) .
5 [was] _ a_ son_ ofthirty and _ two year[s] Yə hōrām in/on/at/with _ became _ king_ he and _ eight years he _ reignedin/on/at/with _ Yə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) .
6 And _ he/it _ wentin/on/at/with _ way _ ofthe _ kings_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) just _ as they _ had_ donethe _ house_ ofʼAḩʼāⱱ if/because the _ daughter_ ofʼAḩʼāⱱ she _ wasfor _ him/it wife and _ he/it _ madethe _ evil in/on _ both _ eyes_ ofYHWH 7 And _ not he _ was_ willingYHWH to _ destroy DOM the _ house_ ofDāvid on _ account_ ofthe _ covenant which he _ had_ madewith _ Dāvid and _ as _ which he _ had_ saidto _ give to _ him/it a _ lampand _ to _ descendants _ of_ his all _ ofthe _ days .
8 In/on/at/with _ days _ of_ his ʼEdōm it _ rebelledfrom _ under the _ hand_ ofYə hūdāh/(Judah) and _ they _ set_ kingof _ their _ owna _ king9 And _ Yə hōrām/(Jehoram) _ crossed _ overwith commanders _ of_ his and _ all the _ chariots with _ him/it and _ he/it _ washe _ arosenight and _ struck DOM ʼEdōm the _ (one) _ going_ aroundto _ him/it and _ DOM the _ commanders_ ofthe _ chariot .
10 And _ ʼEdōm _ revolted from _ under the _ hand_ ofYə hūdāh until the _ day the _ this then Liⱱnāh it _ rebelledin/on/at/with _ time the _ that from _ under his/its _ hand if/because he _ had_ abandonedDOM YHWH the _ god_ ofancestors _ of_ his .
11 Also he he _ madehigh _ placesin/on/at/with _ hill _ country_ ofYə hūdāh and _ led _ intounfaithfulnessDOM the _ inhabitants_ ofYə rūshālam/(Jerusalem) and _ led _ astrayDOM Yə hūdāh .
12 and _ came to _ him/it a _ writingfrom _ ʼĒliyyāh the _ prophet to _ say thus YHWH he _ saysthe _ god_ ofDāvid I _ will_ show_ you(ms) because that not you _ have_ walkedin/on/at/with _ ways _ ofYə hōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) I _ will_ show_ you(ms) and _ in/on/at/with _ ways _ ofʼĀşāʼ the _ king_ ofYə hūdāh .
13 And _ walked in/on/at/with _ way _ ofthe _ kings_ ofYisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ led _ intounfaithfulnessDOM Yə hūdāh and _ DOM the _ inhabitants_ ofYə rūshālam as _ led _ intounfaithfulnessthe _ house_ ofʼAḩʼāⱱ and _ also DOM brothers _ of_ your the _ house_ ofI _ will_ show_ you(ms) the _ better than _ you you _ killed14 Here YHWH [is] _ about_ to_ strikea _ blowgreat in/on/at/with _ people _ of_ your and _ in/on/at/with _ sons _ of_ your and _ in/on/at/with _ wives _ of_ your and _ on/over _ all possessions _ of_ your .

16 And _ YHWH _ stirred _ upon Yə hōrām/(Jehoram) DOM the _ spirit_ ofthe _ Fə lishtiy and _ the _ ˊArāⱱī who [were] _ onthe _ hand_ of[the] _ Kūshiy/(Cushi)tes17 And _ came _ upin/on/at/with _ Yə hūdāh/(Judah) and _ invaded _ it and _ carried _ awayDOM all _ ofthe _ possessions the _ found in _ house _ ofthe _ king and _ also sons _ of_ his and _ wives _ of_ his and _ not he _ remainedto _ him/it a _ sonif/because (if) Yə hōʼāḩāz/(Jehoahaz) the _ young_ [one]_ ofson _ of_ his .
18 And _ after all _ ofthis afflicted _ him YHWH in/on/at/with _ bowels _ of_ his with _ disease for _ no healing .
19 And _ he/it _ wasin _ course_ of_ day from _ days and _ in _ the_ course_ of_ time _ ofwas _ going_ outthe _ end of _ years two bowels _ of_ his they _ came_ outwith disease _ of_ his and _ he/it _ diedin/on/at/with _ agony harmful and _ not they _ madeto _ him/it people _ of_ his a _ burninglike _ fire _ offathers _ of_ his .
