4 If/because after _ god his/its _ father he _ soughtand _ in/on/at/with _ commandments _ his he _ walkedand _ not according _ to_ practices of _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel)5 And _ established YHWH DOM the _ kingdom in _ his/its _ hand and _ brought all Yə hūdāh/(Judah) tribute to _ Yə hōshāfāţ and _ he/it _ wasto _ him/it wealth and _ honour to _ increase _ in_ number6 And _ courageous his/its _ heart in/on/at/with _ ways of _ YHWH and _ furthermore he _ removedDOM the _ high _ placesand _ DOM the _ asherah _ polesfrom _ Yə hūdāh .
7 and _ in _ year _ ofthree of _ reign _ his he _ sentof _ officials _ his to/for wwww and _ to/for _ ˊOⱱadyāh and _ to/for _ Zə karyāh and _ to/for _ Nethanel and _ to/for _ Mīkāhū to _ teach in/on/at/with _ cities of _ Yə hūdāh8 And _ with _ them the _ Levites Shemaiah and _ Nethaniah and _ Zebadiah and _ ˊAsāhʼēl and _ Shemiramoth [fn ] and _ Jehonathan and _ ʼAdoniyyāh and _ Tobijah and _ good wwww the _ Levites and _ with _ them ʼElīshāˊma and _ Jehoram the _ priests .
9 And _ taught in/on/at/with _ Yə hūdāh and _ with _ them the _ bookof _ the_ lawof _ YHWH and _ went _ aroundin _ all the _ citiesof _ Yə hūdāhand _ taught in/on/at/with _ people .
10 And _ he/it _ wasthe _ dreadof _ YHWH on all the _ kingdomsthe _ lands which [were] _ aroundYə hūdāh and _ not they _ waged_ warwith Yə hōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) .
11 And _ from [the] _ Fə lishə ttiy[were] _ bringingto _ Yə hōshāfāţ tribute and _ silver a _ loadalso the _ Arabs [were] _ bringingto _ him/it flock[s] rams seven thousand(s) and _ seven hundred(s) and _ male _ goatsseven thousand(s) and _ seven hundred(s) .
12 and _ he/it _ wasYə hōshāfāţ going and _ he _ became_ powerfulto to _ more and _ he/it _ builtin/on/at/with _ Yə hūdāh/(Judah) fortresses and _ cities of _ stores13 And _ supplies much it _ belongedto _ him/it in/on/at/with _ cities of _ Yə hūdāhand _ men of _ warmighty _ [men]of _ strengthin/on/at/with _ Yə rūshālayim/(Jerusalem) .
14 And _ these muster _ their by _ houses ancestral _ their of _ Yə hūdāh commanders of _ thousandsAdnah the _ commander and _ with _ him mighty _ [men]of _ strengththree hundred(s) thousand .
15 and _ at his/its _ hand Jehohanan the _ commander and _ with _ him two _ hundredand _ eighty thousand .
16 and _ at his/its _ hand Amasiah the _ sonof _ Zikrithe _ volunteer to/for _ YHWH and _ with _ him two _ hundredthousand mighty _ [man]of _ strength17 and _ from Binyāmīn a _ mighty_ [man]of _ strengthʼElyādāˊ and _ with _ him [men] _ equippedof _ bowand _ shield two _ hundredthousand .
18 and _ at his/its _ hand Jehozabad and _ with _ him one _ hundredand _ eighty thousand [men] _ equippedof _ war19 these the _ served DOM the _ king from _ to/for _ besides [those] _ whomhe _ putthe _ king in/on/at/with _ cities the _ fortified in _ all Yə hūdāh .
