3 and _ time many in _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) that _ not [the] _ god of _ truth and _ that _ not a _ priest [who] _ teaches and _ that _ not [the] _ law .
4 And _ turned in/on/at/with _ distress to _ him/it to YHWH the _ god of _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) and _ sought _ him and _ found to/for _ them .
5 And _ in/on/at/with _ times the _ those there _ [was]_ not peace for _ those_ went _ out and _ to _ the_ came _ in if/because disturbances great [were] _ on all the _ inhabitants the _ lands .
6 And _ crushed nation in/on/at/with _ nation and _ city in/on/at/with _ city if/because god troubled _ them in _ all trouble .
7 And _ you _ all be _ strong and _ not let _ them_ drop hands _ your _ all’s if/because there _ [is] reward for _ work _ your _ all’s .
8 and _ when _ heard ʼĀşāʼ the _ words the _ these and _ the _ prophecy Oded the _ prophet he _ strengthened_ himself and _ removed the _ abominable _ idols from _ all the _ land of _ Yə hūdāh/(Judah) and _ Binyāmīn and _ from the _ cities which he _ had_ captured from _ hill of _ ʼEfrayim and _ repaired DOM the _ altar of _ YHWH which to _ (the) _ face_ of/in_ front_ of/before the _ porch of _ YHWH .
9 And _ gathered DOM all Yə hūdāh and _ Binyāmīn and _ the _ residing with _ them from _ ʼEfrayim and _ Mə nashsheh and _ from _ Shimˊōn if/because they _ had_ fallen on/upon/above _ him/it from _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) to _ increase _ in_ number in/on/at/with _ saw _ they if/because _ that YHWH his/its _ god with _ him/it .
10 and _ gathered Yə rūshālayim/(Jerusalem) in/on/at/with _ month the _ third of _ year fif- teen of _ (the) _ reign of _ ʼĀşāʼ .
11 And _ sacrificed to/for _ YHWH in _ the_ day (the) _ that from the _ plunder [which] _ they_ had_ brought ox[en] seven hundred(s) and _ sheep seven thousand(s) .
12 And _ they _ came in/on/at/with _ covenant to _ seek DOM YHWH the _ god ancestors _ their in _ all heart _ their and _ on/over _ all soul _ their .
13 And _ all/each/any/every [one] _ who not he _ will_ seek to/for _ YHWH the _ god of _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) he _ will_ be_ put_ to_ death whether _ from small and _ unto great whether _ from _ man and _ unto woman .
14 And _ took _ an_ oath to/for _ YHWH in/on/at/with _ voice great and _ in/on/at/with _ shouting and _ in/on/at/with _ trumpets and _ in/on/at/with _ horns .
15 And _ rejoiced all Yə hūdāh/(Judah) on the _ oath if/because in/on/at/with _ all heart _ their they _ had_ sworn and _ on/over _ all desire _ their sought _ him and _ found to/for _ them and _ gave _ rest YHWH to/for _ them on _ every _ side .
16 And _ also Maˊₐkāh the _ mother of _ ʼĀşāʼ the _ king removed _ her from _ queen _ mother that she _ had_ made for _ asherah an _ abominable_ image and _ cut _ down ʼĀşāʼ DOM image _ her and _ crushed and _ burned in/on/at/with _ wadi of _ Qidrōn .
17 And _ the _ high _ places not they _ were_ removed from _ Yisrāʼēl /(Israel) only the _ heart of _ ʼĀşāʼ it _ was complete all his/its _ days .
18 And _ he/it _ brought DOM the _ holy_ things his/its _ father and _ votive _ gifts_ his _ own the _ house the _ ʼElohīm silver and _ gold and _ utensils .
19 And _ war not it _ was until year thirty and _ five of _ (the) _ reign of _ ʼĀşāʼ .
