2 And_ Shəlomoh _he/it_said to/from_all/each/any/every Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to_the_commanders_of the_thousands and_the_hundreds and_to_judges and_to/for_all leader to/from_all/each/any/every Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) the_heads_of the_fathers.
3 And_ Shəlomoh _they_went and_all the_assembly with_him/it to_place which was_at_Gibeon if/because there it_was the_tent_of meeting_of the_ʼElohīm which Mosheh he_had_made the_servant_of YHWH in_wilderness.
4 But the_box_of the_ʼElohīm Dāvid he_had_brought_up from yəˊārīm/(jearim) in_he_had_prepared to_him/it Dāvid if/because he_had_pitched to_him/it a_tent in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
5 And_the_altar_of (the)_bronze which he_had_made Bəʦalʼēl the_son_of ʼŪrī the_son_of Ḩūr he_had_put to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_tabernacle_of YHWH and_he_sought_it Shəlomoh and_the_assembly.
6 And_ Shəlomoh _he/it_ascended there to the_altar_of (the)_bronze to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before YHWH which was_to_the_tent_of meeting and_he/it_ascended on/upon/above_him/it burnt_offerings a_thousand.
7 In_night (the)_that god he_appeared to_Shəlomoh/(Solomon) and_he/it_said to_him/it ask what will_I_give to/for_you(fs).
8 And_ Shəlomoh _he/it_said to_god you you_have_done with Dāvid father_of_my covenant_loyalty great and_you_have_made_me_king in_place_of_him.
9 Now Oh_YHWH god let_it_be_established message_of_your with Dāvid father_of_my if/because you you_have_made_me_king over a_people numerous like_the_dust_of the_earth/land.
10 Now wisdom and_knowledge give to_me so_that_I_may_go_out to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_people the_this and_so_that_I_may_come if/because who will_he_judge DOM people_of_your the_this (the)_great.
11 and_he/it_said god to_Shəlomoh because that it_was this with heart_of_your and_not you_have_asked_for wealth riches and_honour and_DOM the_life_of those_who_hate_you and_also days many not you_have_asked_for and_you_have_asked_for to/for_yourself(m) wisdom and_knowledge that you_will_judge DOM people_of_my which I_have_made_you_king on/upon/above_him/it.
12 The_wisdom and_the_knowledge is_given to/for_you(fs) and_wealth and_riches and_honour I_will_give to/for_you(fs) which not it_belonged thus to_kings who to_your_face and_after_you not it_will_belong thus.
13 And_ Shəlomoh/(Solomon) _he_went to_place which was_at_Gibeon Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) from_to/for_face/front/presence the_tent_of meeting and_he_reigned over Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
14 and_ Shəlomoh _he_gathered chariotry and_horsemen and_he/it_was to_him/it one_thousand and_four hundred(s) chariot[s] and_two_plus ten thousand horsemen and_he_placed_them in_the_cities_of (the)_chariotry and_with the_king in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
15 And_he/it_gave the_king DOM (the)_silver and_DOM the_gold in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) like_stone(s) and_DOM (the)_cedars he_made like_sycamores which are_in_Shephelah to_increase_in_number.
16 And_the_export_of the_horses which belonged_to_Shəlomoh was_from_Miʦrayim/(Egypt) and_from_Que the_traders_of the_king from_Que they_took_them for_a_price.
17 And_they_brought_up and_they_brought_out from_Miʦrayim a_chariot for_six hundred(s) silver and_a_horse for_fifty and_one_hundred and_thus/so/as_follows to/from_all/each/any/every the_kings_of the_Hittites and_the_kings_of ʼArām by_their_of_hand they_brought_them_out.
18 [fn] and_ Shəlomoh _he/it_said to_ a_house _build for_the_name_of YHWH and_a_house for_his_of_royalty.
2 [fn] and_he_counted Shəlomoh/(Solomon) seventy thousand man burden-bearer[s] and_eighty thousand man stonemason[s] in_country and_overseers over_them three_of thousand(s) and_six hundred(s).
2 [fn] and_ Shəlomoh _he_sent to Ḩūrām the_king_of Tsor/(Tyre) to_say just_as you_dealt with Dāvid father_of_my and_you_sent to_him/it cedars to_build to_him/it a_house to_dwell in/on/over_him/it.
3 [fn] here I am_about_to_build a_house for_the_name_of YHWH god_of_my to_consecrate_ to_him/it to_make_smoke before_him incense_of perfume(s) and_the_row_of continuity and_burnt_offerings for_morning and_for_evening for_sabbaths and_for_moons and_for_the_appointed_times_of YHWH god_of_our forever this is_on Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
4 [fn] and_the_house which I am_about_to_build will_be_great if/because is_great god_of_our from_all the_ʼElohīm.
5 [fn] and_who will_he_retain strength to_build to_him/it a_house if/because the_heavens and_the_heavens_of the_heavens not they_contain_him and_who am_I (cmp) I_will_build for_him/it a_house if/because (if) to_make_smoke before_him.
6 [fn] and_now send to_me a_man skillful for_doing in_gold and_in_silver and_in_bronze and_in_iron and_in_purple and_crimson and_violet and_who_knows to_engrave engravings with the_skillful_ who are_with_me in_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) whom he_appointed Dāvid father_of_my.
7 [fn] and_send to_me wood(s)_of cedar(s) fir(s) and_algum(s) from_(the)_Ləⱱānōn if/because I I_know (cmp) your_servants are_knowing to_cut the_wood(s)_of Ləⱱānōn and_see/lo/see servants_of_my will_be_with servants_of_your.
8 [fn] and_to_prepare to_me wood(s) to_increase_in_number if/because the_house which I am_about_to_build will_be_great and_to_act_wonderfully.
9 [fn] and_see/lo/see to_wood-cutters to_the_cutters_of the_wood(s) I_give wheat(s) wounds to_your(pl)_of_servants kor_measures twenty thousand and_barley(s) kor_measures twenty thousand and_wine baths twenty thousand and_oil baths twenty thousand.
10 [fn] and_ Ḩūrām _he/it_said the_king_of Tsor/(Tyre) in_a_document and_he_sent to Shəlomoh/(Solomon) because_loves_of YHWH DOM people_of_his he_has_made_you over_them king.
11 [fn] and_ Ḩūrām _he/it_said YHWH be_blessed the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) who he_has_made DOM the_heavens and_DOM the_earth/land who he_has_given to_Dāvid the_king a_son wise insight who_knows and_understanding who he_will_build a_house to/for_YHWH and_a_house for_his_of_royalty.
12 [fn] and_now I_send a_man wise who_knows understanding (to) abi.
13 [fn] a_son_of a_woman one_of the_daughters_of Dān and_his_of_father was_a_man Tyrian who_knows for_doing in_gold and_in_silver in_bronze in_iron in_stone(s) and_in_wood(s) in_purple in_violet and_in_(the)_linen and_in_crimson and_to_engrave every_of engraving and_to_design any_of design which it_will_be_given to_him/it with your_skilled_of_ and_the_skillful__of my_master Dāvid I_will_show_you(ms).
14 [fn] and_now the_wheat(s) and_the_barley(s) the_oil and_the_wine which he_has_said my_master let_him_send to_his_of_servants.
15 [fn] and_we we_will_cut wood(s) from (the)_Ləⱱānōn according_to_all_of need_of_your and_we_will_bring_them to/for_yourself(m) rafts on the_sea Yāfō/(Joppa) and_you(ms) you_will_take_up DOM_them Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
16 [fn] and_ Shəlomoh/(Solomon) _he_counted all_of the_people the_sojourners who in_land of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) after the_census which he_had_counted_them Dāvid his/its_father and_they_were_found one_hundred and_fifty thousand and_three_of thousand(s) and_six hundred(s).
17 [fn] and_he/it_made from_them seventy thousand burden-bearer[s] and_eighty thousand stonemason[s] in_country and_three_of thousand(s) and_six hundred(s) overseers to_compel_to_labour DOM the_people.
3 And_ Shəlomoh _he_began to_build DOM the_house_of YHWH in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) on_the_mountain_of (the)_Mōriyyāh where he_had_appeared to_Dāvid father_of_his which he_had_prepared in_the_place_of Dāvid on_the_threshing_floor_of ʼĀrənān the_Yəⱱūşī.
2 And_he_began to_build in_month the_second on_day in_year four of_his_of_reign.
3 And_these are_the_founding of_Shəlomoh to_build DOM the_house_of the_ʼElohīm the_length cubits by_measurement (the)_former was_cubits sixty and_the_breadth was_cubits twenty.
4 And_the_porch which was_on the_face_of the_length on the_face_of the_breadth_of the_house was_cubits twenty and_the_height was_one_hundred and_twenty and_he_overlaid_it from_within gold pure.
5 And_DOM the_house (the)_great he_overlaid wood_of cypresses and_he_overlaid_it gold fine and_he/it_ascended on/upon/above_him/it palm_trees and_chains.
6 And_he_overlaid DOM the_house stone[s] precious for_beauty and_the_gold was_the_gold_of Farvayim.
7 And_he_overlaid DOM the_house the_beams the_thresholds and_its_of_walls and_its_of_doors gold and_he_engraved cherubim on the_walls.
8 and_he/it_made DOM the_house_of the_holy_place_of the_holy_places length_of_its on the_face_of the_breadth_of the_house was_cubits twenty and_its_of_breadth was_cubits twenty and_he_overlaid_it gold fine to_talents six hundred(s).
9 And_the_weight of_nails to_shekels fifty gold and_the_upper_rooms he_overlaid gold.
10 And_he/it_made in_house_of the_holy_place_of the_holy_places cherubim two a_work_of throwings and_they_overlaid DOM_them gold.
11 And_the_wings_of the_cherubim length_of_their was_cubits twenty the_wing_of the_one to_cubits five was_touching (to)_the_wall_of the_house and_the_wing (the)_other cubits five was_touching (to)_the_wing_of the_cherub (the)_other.
12 And_the_wing_of the_cherub the_one cubits five was_touching (to)_the_wall_of the_house and_the_wing (the)_other cubits five was_touching (to)_the_wing_of the_cherub (the)_other.
13 The_wings_of the_cherubim the_these were_spreading_out cubits twenty and_they were_standing on feet_of_their and_their_of_faces were_to_house.
14 and_he/it_made DOM the_curtain violet and_purple and_crimson and_fine_linen and_he/it_ascended on/upon/above_him/it cherubim.
15 and_he/it_made to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_house pillars two cubits thirty and_five length and_the_capital which was_on his/its_head was_cubits five.
16 and_he/it_made chains in_room and_he/it_gave on the_top_of the_pillars and_he/it_made pomegranates one_hundred and_he/it_gave on_chains.
17 And_he_set_up DOM the_pillars on the_face_of the_temple one from_the_right and_one from_the_left and_he/it_called the_name_of the_right_pillar[fn] Yākīn/(Jakin) and_name_of the_left_pillar Boˊaz.
4 and_he/it_made an_altar_of bronze was_twenty cubit[s] length_of_its and_twenty cubit[s] breadth_of_its and_was_ten cubits height_of_its.
2 and_he/it_made DOM the_sea throw_metal was_ten by_cubit from_its_of_lip to lip_of_its round all_around and_was_five by_cubit height_of_its and_a_measuring-line thirty by_cubit it_went_round DOM_him/it all_around.
3 And_the_likeness_of oxen was_under to_him/it all_around all_around they_were_going_round DOM_him/it ten by_cubit they_were_encircling DOM the_sea all_around was_two rows the_ox[en] they_were_throw in_its_of_throwing.
4 it_was_standing on two_plus ten ox[en] three were_turning northward and_three were_turning westward and_three were_turning southward and_three were_turning eastward and_the_sea was_on_them from_to_above and_all hindquarters_of_their inside_were_to_the.
5 And_its_of_thickness was_a_hand_breadth and_its_of_lip was_like_the_work_of the_lip_of a_cup the_blossom_of a_lily it_was_holding baths three_of thousand(s) it_contained.
6 and_he/it_made lavers ten and_he/it_gave five from_the_right and_five from_the_left to_wash in/among_them DOM the_work_of the_burnt_offering people_rinsed in_them and_the_sea to_wash was_for_priests in/on/over_him/it.
7 and_he/it_made DOM the_lampstands_of the_gold ten according_to_of_their_ordinance and_he/it_gave in_temple five from_the_right and_five from_the_left.
8 and_he/it_made tables ten and_he_placed_them in_temple five from_the_right and_five from_the_left and_he/it_made bowls_of gold one_hundred.
9 And_he/it_made the_court_of the_priests and_the_precinct (the)_great and_doors for_precinct and_their_of_doors he_overlaid bronze.
10 And_DOM the_sea he_put from_the_side_of (the)_right eastward from_in_front_of south_(to)_the.
11 And_ Ḩūrām _he/it_made DOM the_pots and_DOM the_shovels and_DOM the_bowls and_ Ḩūrām _they_were_ended/finished[fn] for_doing DOM the_work which he_did to/for_the_king Shəlomoh/(Solomon) in_house_of the_ʼElohīm.
12 Pillars two and_the_bowls and_the_capitals on the_top_of the_pillars two and_the_networks two to_cover DOM the_two_of the_bowls_of the_capitals which were_on the_top_of the_pillars.
13 And_DOM the_pomegranates four hundred(s) for_the_two_of the_networks two rows pomegranates for_network (the)_one to_cover DOM the_two_of the_bowls_of the_capitals which were_on the_face_of the_pillars.
14 And_DOM the_stands he_made and_DOM the_lavers he_made on the_stands.
15 DOM the_sea one and_DOM the_ox[en] two_plus ten under_it.
16 And_DOM the_pots and_DOM the_shovels and_DOM the_forks and_DOM all_of utensils_of_their Ḩūrām he_made Abi to/for_the_king Shəlomoh for_the_house_of YHWH bronze polished.
17 In_the_valley_of the_Yardēn/(Jordan) he_throw_them the_king in_the_thickness_of the_soil between Şukkōt and_between Tsərēdāh/(Zeredah).
18 And_ Shəlomoh _he/it_made all_of the_vessels the_these to_increase_in_number exceedingly if/because not the_weight_of it_was_ascertained of_the_bronze.
19 and_he/it_made Shəlomoh DOM all_of the_vessels which were_the_house_of the_ʼElohīm and_DOM the_altar_of the_gold and_DOM the_tables and_was_on_them the_bread_of the_presence.
20 And_DOM the_lampstands and_their_of_lamps they_to_burn according_the_ordinance to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_innermost_room gold pure_gold.
21 And_the_blossom and_the_lamps and_the_tongs gold it was_perfection(s)_of gold.
22 And_the_snuffers and_the_bowls and_the_pans and_the_fire-pans gold pure_gold and_the_entrance_of the_house doors_of_its (the)_inner to_the_holy_place_of the_holy_places and_the_doors_of the_house of_temple gold.
5 And_ all_of _it_was_complete the_work which Shəlomoh/(Solomon) he_did for_the_house_of YHWH and_ Shəlomoh _he/it_brought DOM the_holy_things_of Dāvid his/its_father and_DOM the_silver and_DOM the_gold and_DOM all_of the_vessels he_put in_the_treasuries_of the_house_of the_ʼElohīm.
2 then Shəlomoh he_assembled DOM the_elders_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_DOM all_of the_chiefs_of the_tribes the_leaders_of the_fathers of_the_people_of of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) to_bring_up DOM the_box_of the_covenant_of YHWH from_the_city_of Dāvid that is_Tsiyyōn/(Zion).
3 And_they_assembled to the_king every_of (the)_person_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) at_festival that was_the_month (the)_seventh.
4 And_ all_of _they_came the_elders_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_they_lifted the_Lēviyyiy DOM the_box.
5 And_they_brought_up DOM the_box and_DOM the_tent_of meeting and_DOM all_of the_articles_of (the)_holiness which were_in_tent they_brought_up DOM_them the_priests the_Lēviyyiy.
6 And_the_king Shəlomoh and_all the_congregation_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) who_were_gathered on/upon/above_him/it to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_box sacrificing sheep and_cattle which not they_were_counted and_not they_were_numbered from_multitude.
7 And_they_brought the_priests DOM the_box_of the_covenant_of YHWH to place_of_its to the_innermost_room_of the_house to the_holy_place_of the_holy_places to under the_wings_of the_cherubim.
8 And_they_were the_cherubim wings spreading_out over the_place_of the_box and_they_covered the_cherubim over the_box and_over poles_of_its from_to_above.
9 And_they_were_long the_poles and_ the_heads_of _they_were_visible of_the_poles from the_box on the_face_of the_innermost_room and_not they_were_visible to_the_outside and_he/it_was there until the_day (the)_this.
10 There_was_not in_box only the_two_of the_tablets which he_had_put Mosheh at_Ḩorēⱱ where he_made YHWH with the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) when_they_came_out from_Miʦrayim/(Egypt).
11 and_he/it_was when_came_out the_priests from the_holy_place if/because all_of the_priests who_were_found they_had_consecrated_themselves not they_were_to_keep to_divisions.
12 And_the_Lēviyyiy the_singers to/for_all_them (to)_ʼĀşāf (to)_Hēymān (to)_Yədūtūn/(Jeduthun) and_(to)_their_of_sons and_(to)_their_of_relatives fully_clothed fine_linen with_cymbals and_with_lyres and_harps were_standing east of_altar and_were_with_them priests of_one_hundred and_twenty who_were_blowing_a_trumpet[fn] on_trumpets.
13 And_he/it_was as_one to_trumpeters[fn] and_to_singers to_make_heard a_voice one to_praise and_to_give_thanks to/for_YHWH and_just_as_lifted_up a_voice with_trumpets and_with_the_cymbals and_with_the_instruments_of (the)_song and_when_praised to/for_YHWH if/because he_is_good if/because is_forever loyalty_of_his_covenant and_the_house it_was_full a_cloud the_house_of YHWH.
14 And_not they_were_able the_priests to_stand to_serve from_face/in_front_of the_cloud if/because the_glory_of it_filled of_YHWH DOM the_house_of the_ʼElohīm.
6 then Shəlomoh/(Solomon) he_said YHWH he_has_said to_dwell in_(the)_darkness.
2 And_I I_have_built a_house_of loftiness to/for_you(fs) and_a_place you_to_dwell_in forever.
3 And_he_turned the_king DOM his/its_faces/face and_he/it_blessed DOM all_of the_assembly_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_all the_assembly_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) was_standing.
4 And_he/it_said YHWH be_blessed the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) who he_spoke with_his_of_mouth with Dāvid father_of_my and_with_his_of_hands he_has_fulfilled to_say.
5 Since the_day when I_brought_out DOM people_of_my from_the_land_of Miʦrayim/(Egypt) not I_chose (in)_a_city from_all the_tribes_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to_build a_house to_be name_of_my there and_not I_chose (in)_a_person to_be ruler over people_of_my Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
6 And_I_have_chosen (in)_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) to_be name_of_my there and_I_have_chosen (in)_Dāvid to_be over people_of_my Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
7 And_he/it_was with the_heart_of Dāvid father_of_my to_build a_house for_the_name_of YHWH the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
8 And_ YHWH _he/it_said to Dāvid father_of_my because that it_was with heart_of_your to_build a_house for_my_of_name you_did_well (cmp) it_was with heart_of_your.
9 Only you not you_will_build the_house if/because son_of_your who_will_come_out from_your_two’s_of_loins he he_will_build the_house for_my_of_name.
10 And_ YHWH _he_has_established DOM message_of_his which he_spoke and_I_have_arisen in_place_of Dāvid father_of_my and_I_have_sat on the_throne_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) just_as he_spoke YHWH and_I_have_built the_house for_the_name_of YHWH the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
11 And_I_have_put there DOM the_box where is_there the_covenant_of YHWH which he_made with the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
12 And_he_stood to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_altar_of YHWH before all_of the_assembly_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_he_spread_out palms_of_his.
13 If/because Shəlomoh/(Solomon) he_had_made a_platform_of bronze and_he_had_put_it in_the_middle of_the_precinct was_five cubits length_of_its and_was_five cubits breadth_of_its and_was_cubits three height_of_its and_he_stood on/upon/above_him/it and_he_knelt_down on knees_of_his before all_of the_assembly_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_he_spread_out palms_of_his to_the_heavens.
14 And_he_said Oh_YHWH the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) there_is_not like_you a_god in_heavens and_on_earth who_keeps the_covenant and_(the)_covenant_loyalty to_your(pl)_of_servants who_walk to_your_face in_all heart_of_their.
15 Who you_have_kept to_your_of_servant Dāvid father_of_my DOM that_which you_spoke to_him/it and_you_spoke with_your_of_mouth and_with_your_of_hand you_have_fulfilled as_day (the)_this.
16 And_now Oh_YHWH the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) keep to_your_of_servant[fn] Dāvid father_of_my DOM that_which you_spoke for_him/it to_say not it_will_be_cut_off to/for_yourself(m) a_man from_before_me_of who_sits on the_throne_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) only if they_will_guard descendants_of_your DOM way_of_their to_go in_my_of_law just_as you_have_walked before_me.
17 And_now Oh_YHWH the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) let_it_be_established message_of_your which you_spoke to_your_of_servant to_Dāvid.
18 If/because really will_he_dwell god with the_humankind on the_earth/land here heaven and_the_heavens_of the_heavens not they_contain_you indeed if/because the_house the_this which I_have_built.
19 And_you_will_turn to the_prayer_of your_servant_of_of and_near/to supplication_of_his Oh_YHWH god_of_my to_listen to the_cry_entreaty and_near/to the_prayer which servant_of_your is_praying before_you.
20 To_be eyes_of_your open to the_house the_this by_day and_night to the_place where you_have_said to_put name_of_your there to_listen to the_prayer which he_will_pray servant_of_your to the_place (the)_this.

23 And_you(ms) you_will_hear from the_heavens and_you_will_act and_you_will_judge DOM your_servants to_repay to_a_guilty_ to_requite its_road/course on_his_own_of_head and_to_declare_righteous a_righteous_ to_give to_him/it according_to_of_his_righteousness.
24 and_if it_will_be_defeated people_of_your Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before an_enemy if/because they_will_sin to/for_you(fs) and_they_will_return and_they_will_praise DOM your(ms)_name and_they_will_pray and_they_will_seek_favour to_your_face in_house (the)_this.
25 And_you(ms) you_will_hear from the_heavens and_you_will_forgive (to)_the_sin_of your_people_of_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_you_will_bring_them_back to the_soil which you_gave to/for_them and_to_their_of_ancestors.
26 when_are_shut_up the_heavens and_not it_will_be rain if/because they_will_sin to/for_you(fs) and_they_will_pray to the_place the_this and_they_will_praise DOM your(ms)_name from_their_of_sin they_will_turn_back if/because you_will_afflict_them.
27 And_you(ms) you_will_hear the_heavens and_you_will_forgive (to)_the_sin_of your_servants and_your_of_people Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) if/because you_will_direct_them to the_way (the)_good which they_will_walk in_it and_you(ms)_will_give rain on land_of_your which you_gave to_your_of_people to_an_inheritance.
28 famine if/because it_will_be in/on_the_earth pestilence if/because it_will_be blight and_mildew locust[s] and_locust[s] if/because it_will_be if/because he_will_lay_siege to_him/it enemies_of_its in_land its_gates_of_of any_of plague and_all sickness.
29 Every_of prayer every_of supplication which it_will_belong to/from_all/each/any/every the_humankind and_to/for_all people_of_your Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) who they_will_know everyone plague_of_his_own and_his_own_of_pain and_he_will_spread_out palms_of_his to the_house (the)_this.

34 If/because people_of_your it_will_go_forth for_battle on enemies_of_its by_way which you_will_send_them and_they_will_pray to_you the_direction_of the_city (the)_this which you_have_chosen (in)_it and_the_house which I_have_built for_your_of_name.
35 And_you_will_hear from the_heavens DOM prayer_of_their and_DOM supplication_of_their and_you_will_do justice_of_their.
36 If/because they_will_sin to/for_you(fs) if/because there_is_not anyone who not he_sins and_you_will_be_angry with_them and_you_will_deliver_them_up to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before an_enemy and_they_will_take_them_captive their_of_captors to a_land distant or near.
37 And_they_will_bring_back to heart_of_their on_the_earth where they_have_been_taken_captive there and_they_will_repent and_they_will_seek_favour to_you in_land their_captivity_of_of to_say we_have_sinned we_have_done_wrong and_we_have_acted_wickedly.
38 And_they_will_return to_you in_all heart_of_their and_on/over_all being_of_their in_land their_captivity_of_of where they_took_captive DOM_them and_they_will_pray the_direction_of their_land_of_of which you_gave to_their_of_ancestors and_the_city which you_have_chosen and_to_house which I_have_built for_your_of_name.
39 And_you_will_hear[fn] from the_heavens from_the_place_of your_dwelling DOM prayer_of_their and_DOM supplications_of_their and_you_will_do justice_of_their and_you_will_forgive (to)_your_of_people who they_have_sinned to/for_you(fs).
40 Now my_god_of_Oh let_them_be please eyes_of_your open and_your_two’s_of_ears attentive to_the_prayer_of the_place (the)_this.
41 and_now arise Oh_YHWH god to_your_resting_of_place you and_the_box_of your_strength_of_of priests_of_your Oh_YHWH god let_them_be_clothed salvation and_your_faithful_of_ let_them_rejoice in_good.
42 Oh_YHWH god do_not turn_away the_face_of your_anointed_ remember (to)_the_covenant_loyalti(es)_of Dāvid servant_of_your.
7 and_just_as_finished Shəlomoh/(Solomon) to_pray and_the_fire it_came_down from_the_heavens and_she/it_ate the_burnt_offering and_the_sacrifices and_the_glory_of YHWH it_filled DOM the_house.
2 And_not they_were_able the_priests to_go into the_house_of YHWH if/because the_glory_of it_filled of_YHWH DOM the_house_of YHWH.

8 And_he/it_made Shəlomoh DOM the_festival at_time (the)_that seven_of days and_all Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) with_him/it an_assembly great very from_Ləⱱōʼ Ḩₐmāt to the_wadi_of Miʦrayim/(Egypt).
9 And_they_made in_the_day (the)_eighth an_assembly if/because the_dedication_of the_altar they_had_observed seven_of days and_the_festival seven_of days.

13 Here I_will_shut_up the_heavens and_not it_will_be rain and_if I_will_command to the_grasshopper to_devour the_earth/land and_if I_will_send pestilence among_my_of_people.
14 people_of_my And_they_will_humble_themselves which it_has_been_called name_of_my on_them and_they_will_pray and_they_will_seek face_of_my and_they_will_turn from_their_of_ways (the)_wicked and_I I_will_hear from the_heavens and_I_will_forgive (to)_their_of_sin and_I_will_heal DOM land_of_their.
15 Now eyes_of_my they_will_be open and_my_of_ears attentive to_the_prayer_of the_place (the)_this.
16 And_now I_have_chosen and_I_have_consecrated DOM the_house the_this to_be name_of_my there until perpetuity and_they_will_be eyes_of_my and_my_of_heart there all_of the_days.
17 And_you(ms) if you_will_walk to/for_my_face/front just_as he_walked Dāvid I_will_show_you(ms) and_to_do according_to_all that I_commanded_you(ms) and_my_of_regulations and_my_of_judgements you_will_observe.
18 And_I_will_establish DOM the_throne_of your_kingdom_of_of just_as I_made to_Dāvid I_will_show_you(ms) to_say not it_will_be_cut_off to/for_yourself(m) a_man who_rules over_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
19 And_if you(pl)_will_turn_away you(pl) and_you(pl)_will_abandon regulations_of_my and_my_of_commands which I_have_set before_you(pl) and_you(pl)_will_go and_you(pl)_will_serve gods other and_you(pl)_will_bow_down to/for_them.
20 And_I_will_pluck_them_up from_under land_of_my which I_have_given to/for_them and_DOM the_house the_this which I_have_consecrated for_my_of_name I_will_throw from_under face_of_my and_I_will_make_it into_a_byword and_into_a_taunt in_all the_peoples.
21 And_the_house the_this which it_was most_high to/from_all/each/any/every one_who_passes_by on/upon/above_him/it he_will_be_appalled and_saying(ms) how YHWH did_he_do thus to_land (the)_this and_to_house (the)_this.

6 And_DOM Baˊₐlāth and_DOM all_of the_cities_of (the)_stores which they_belonged to_Shəlomoh and_DOM all_of the_cities_of (the)_chariotry and_DOM the_cities_of the_horsemen and_DOM all_of the_desire_of Shəlomoh which he_desired to_build in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_in_Ləⱱānōn and_in_all_of the_land_of his_dominion_of_of.
7 All_of the_people which_remained of the_Hittite[s] and_the_ʼAmorī[s] and_the_Pərizzī[s] and_the_Ḩiūī[s] and_the_Yəⱱūşī/(Jebusite)[s] who not were_of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) they.

9 and_the_queen_of Shəⱱāʼ she_heard DOM the_report_of Shəlomoh and_she_came to_put_to_the_test DOM Shəlomoh by_difficult_matters in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) with_a_retinue numerous very and_camels which_were_carrying spices and_gold to_increase_in_number and_stone_of precious and_she_came to Shəlomoh and_she_spoke with_him/it DOM all_of that it_was with heart_of_her.
2 And_he_told to/for_her/it Shəlomoh DOM all_of words/messages_of_her and_not it_was_concealed anything from_Shəlomoh which not he_told to/for_her/it.
3 And_ the_queen_of _she/it_saw of_Shəⱱāʼ DOM the_wisdom_of Shəlomoh/(Solomon) and_the_house which he_had_built.
4 And_the_food_of his_table_of_of and_the_seating_of his_servants_of_of and_the_standing_of his_servants and_their_of_clothes and_his_of_cup-bearers and_their_of_clothes and_his_upper_of_room which he_went_up the_house_of YHWH and_not it_was still in_her breath.
5 And_she/it_said to the_king is_truth the_message which I_heard in_my_own_of_land on words/messages_of_your and_on wisdom_of_your.
6 And_not I_believed (to)_their_of_words/messages until that I_came and_they_saw eyes_of_my_own and_see/lo/see not it_was_told to_me the_half_of the_greatness_of your_wisdom_of_of you_have_added to the_report which I_heard.
7 How_blessed people_of_are_your and_how_blessed your_servants these who_stand to_your_face continually and_who_hear DOM wisdom_of_your.
8 May_he_be YHWH god_of_your blessed who he_has_delighted in_you to_put_you on throne_of_his to_king to/for_YHWH god_of_your because_loves god_of_your DOM Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to_establish_it forever and_he_has_appointed_you over_them to_king for_doing justice and_righteousness.
9 And_she/it_gave to/for_the_king one_hundred and_twenty talent[s]_of gold and_spices to_increase_in_number exceedingly and_stone_of precious and_not it_has_been like_spice (the)_that which she_gave the_queen_of Shəⱱāʼ to/for_the_king Shəlomoh/(Solomon).
10 And_also the_servants_of Ḩūrām[fn] and_the_servants_of Shəlomoh who they_brought gold from_ʼŌfīr they_brought wood(s)_of algum(s) and_stone_of precious.
11 And_he/it_made the_king DOM the_wood(s)_of the_algum(s) tracks for_the_house_of YHWH and_for_the_house_of the_king and_harps and_lyres for_singers and_not they_had_been_seen like_them formerly in_land of_Yəhūdāh/(Judah).
12 And_the_king Shəlomoh he_gave to_the_queen_of Shəⱱāʼ DOM all_of desire_of_her which she_asked (from)_besides_of that_which she_had_brought to the_king and_she_turned and_she_went to_her_own_of_land she and_her_of_servants.
13 and_he/it_was the_weight_of the_gold which it_came to_Shəlomoh in_a_year one six hundred(s) and_sixty and_six talents_of gold.
14 Apart from_what_the_men_of the_merchants and_the_traders were_bringing and_all the_kings_of Arabia and_the_governors_of the_earth/land were_bringing gold and_silver to_Shəlomoh.
15 And_he/it_made the_king Shəlomoh two_hundred body_shield[s] gold beaten six hundred(s) gold beaten he_put_up on the_body_shield (the)_one.
16 And_three hundred(s) shields gold beaten three hundred(s) gold he_put_up on the_shield (the)_one and_he_put_them the_king in_house_of the_forest_of (the)_Ləⱱānōn.
17 and_he/it_made the_king a_throne ivory great and_he_overlaid_it gold pure.
18 And_six steps belonged_to_throne and_a_footstool in_gold to_throne were_attached and_hands from_this and_from_this were_on the_place_of the_sitting and_two lions were_standing beside the_hands.
19 And_two_plus ten lions were_standing there on the_six the_steps from_this and_from_this not it_had_been_made thus to/from_all/each/any/every kingdom.
20 And_all/each/any/every the_vessels_of the_drink_of the_king Shəlomoh/(Solomon) were_gold and_all/each/any/every the_utensils_of the_house_of the_forest_of (the)_Ləⱱānōn were_gold pure_gold not silver was_reckoned in_the_days_of Shəlomoh to_anything.
21 If/because ships to/for_the_king were_going Tarshiysh with the_servants_of Ḩūrām one_ to_three years they_came the_ships_of Tarshiysh carrying gold and_silver ivori(es) and_monkeys and_peacocks.
22 and_he_became_great the_king Shəlomoh from_all the_kings_of the_earth/land to_wealth and_wisdom.
23 And_all/each/any/every the_kings_of the_earth/land were_seeking DOM the_face_of Shəlomoh to_hear DOM wisdom_of_his which he_had_put the_ʼElohīm in_his_of_heart.
24 And_they were_bringing each his/its_donation/offering articles_of silver and_articles_of gold and_garments weaponry and_spices horses and_mules the_matter_of a_year in_a_year.
25 and_he/it_was to_Shəlomoh four_of thousand(s) stalls_of horses and_chariots and_two_plus ten thousand horsemen and_he_placed_them in_the_cities_of (the)_chariotry and_with the_king in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
26 And_he/it_was ruling in_all the_kings from the_river and_unto the_land_of the_Fəlishtiy and_unto the_border_of Miʦrayim/(Egypt).
27 And_he/it_gave the_king DOM (the)_silver in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) like_stone(s) and_DOM (the)_cedars he_made like_sycamores which are_in_Shephelah to_increase_in_number.
28 And_they_were_bringing_out horses from_Miʦrayim for_Shəlomoh/(Solomon) and_from_all_of the_lands.
29 And_the_rest_of the_matters_of Shəlomoh (the)_former and_(the)_latter not are_they written on the_words/messages_of Nathan the_prophet and_on the_prophecy_of ʼAḩiyyāh the_Shilōnī and_in_the_visions_of ˊIddō[fn] the_seer on Yārāⱱəˊām/(Jeroboam) the_son_of Neⱱaţ.
30 And_ Shəlomoh _he_reigned in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) over all_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) forty year[s].
31 And_ Shəlomoh _he_lay_down with ancestors_of_his and_people_buried_him in_the_city_of Dāvid his/its_father and_ Rəḩaⱱˊām _he_became_king his/its_son in_place_of_him.
10 and_ Rəḩaⱱˊām _he/it_went to_Shəkem if/because Shəkem all_of they_had_gone Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to_make_king DOM_him/it.

7 And_they_spoke to_him/it to_say if you_will_become (into)_good to_the_people the_this and_you_will_be_favourable_to_them and_you_will_speak to_them words/messages kind and_they_will_be to/for_yourself(m) servants all_of the_days.
8 And_he_abandoned DOM the_counsel_of the_elders which they_had_counselled_him and_he_consulted with the_youths who they_had_grown_up with_him/it who_were_standing before_him.
9 And_he/it_said to_them what are_you(pl) counselling so_that_we_may_bring_back message DOM the_people the_this which they_have_spoken to_me to_say lighten some_of the_yoke which he_put I_will_show_you(ms) on_us.
10 And_they_spoke with_him/it the_youths who they_had_grown_up with_him/it to_say thus you_will_say to_people which they_have_spoken to_you to_say I_will_show_you(ms) he_made_heavy DOM yoke_of_our and_you(ms) lighten from_on_us thus you_will_say to_them finger_of_my_little it_is_thick more_than_the_loins_of my_father_of_of.
11 And_now father_of_my he_loaded on_you(pl) a_yoke heavy and_I I_will_add to yoke_of_your(pl) father_of_my he_disciplined you(pl) with_whips and_I with_scorpions.
12 and_ Yārāⱱəˊām/(Jeroboam) _he_came and_all the_people to Rəḩaⱱˊām in_the_day (the)_third just_as he_had_spoken the_king to_say return to_me in_the_day (the)_third.
13 And_he_answered_them the_king hard and_he_abandoned the_king Rəḩaⱱˊām DOM the_counsel_of the_elders.
14 And_he/it_spoke to_them according_to_the_counsel_of the_youths to_say I_will_make_heavy DOM yoke_of_your(pl) and_I I_will_add on/upon/above_him/it father_of_my he_disciplined you(pl) with_whips and_I with_scorpions.

17 and_the_sons of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) who_were_dwelling in_the_cities_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_he_reigned over_them Rəḩaⱱˊām.
18 And_he_sent the_king Rəḩaⱱˊām DOM Hₐdōrām who was_over the_forced_labour and_they_stoned in_him/it the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) stone[s] and_he/it_died and_the_king Rəḩaⱱˊām he_proved_himself_strong to_go_up in_chariot to_flee Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).

6 And_he/it_built DOM Bēyt- leḩem and_DOM ˊĒyţām and_DOM Təqōˊa.
7 And_DOM Bēyt Tsūr and_DOM Sōkoh and_DOM ˊAdullām.
8 And_DOM Gath and_DOM Marʼēshāh and_DOM Zīf.
9 And_DOM ʼAdōrayim and_DOM Lākīsh and_DOM ˊAzēqāh.
10 And_DOM Tsārəˊāh/(Zorah) and_DOM ʼAyyālōn and_DOM Ḩeⱱrōn which were_in_Yəhūdāh and_in_Binyāmīn cities_of fortifications.
11 And_he_strengthened DOM the_fortifications and_he/it_gave (is)_in_them commanders and_supplies_of food and_oil and_wine.
12 And_on/over_all city and_a_city body_shields and_spears and_he_made_them_strong to_abundance exceedingly and_he/it_was to_him/it Yəhūdāh and_Binyāmīn.
13 and_the_priests and_the_Lēviyyiy who in_all Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) they_took_their_stand on/upon/above_him/it from_all territory_of_their.
14 If/because they_abandoned the_Lēviyyiy DOM lands_of_their_pasture and_their_of_property and_they_went to_Yəhūdāh and_to_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) if/because he_had_rejected_them Yārāⱱəˊām and_his_of_sons from_serving_as_priests to/for_YHWH.
15 And_he_appointed to_him/it priests for_places and_for_idols and_for_calves which he_had_made.
16 And_after_them from_all the_tribes_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) those_who_set DOM heart_of_their to_seek DOM YHWH the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) they_came Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) to_sacrifice to/for_YHWH the_god_of their_ancestors_of_of.
17 And_they_strengthened DOM the_kingdom_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_they_strengthened DOM Rəḩaⱱˊām the_son_of Shəlomoh/(Solomon) for_years three if/because they_walked in_the_way_of Dāvid and_Shəlomoh for_years three.
18 And_he/it_took to_him/it Rəḩaⱱˊām a_wife DOM Maḩₐlat the_daughter_of[fn] of_Yərīmōt/(Jerimoth) the_son_of Dāvid ʼAⱱīhayil the_daughter_of ʼElīʼāⱱ the_son_of Jesse.
19 And_she/it_gave_birth to_him/it sons DOM Yəˊūsh/(Jeush) and_DOM Shəmaryāh and_DOM Zāham.
20 And_after_her he_took DOM Maˊₐkāh the_daughter_of ʼAⱱīshālōm and_she/it_gave_birth to_him/it DOM ʼAⱱiyyāh and_DOM ˊAttay and_DOM Zīzāʼ and_DOM Shəlomīt.
21 And_ Rəḩaⱱˊām _he_loved DOM Maˊₐkāh the_daughter_of ʼAⱱīshālōm from_all wives_of_his and_his_of_concubines if/because wives eight- teen he_had_taken and_concubines sixty and_he/it_fathered twenty and_eight sons and_sixty daughters.
22 And_he_appointed to_chief Rəḩaⱱˊām DOM ʼAⱱiyyāh the_son_of Maˊₐkāh to_leader among_his_of_brothers if/because to_make_him_king.
23 And_he_acted_wisely and_he_distributed from_all sons_of_his to/from_all/each/any/every the_lands_of Yəhūdāh and_Binyāmīn to_all/each/any/every the_cities_of (the)_fortifications and_he/it_gave to/for_them (the)_provision[s] to_increase_in_number and_he_sought a_multitude_of wives.
12 And_he/it_was just_as_established the_kingdom_of Rəḩaⱱˊām and_according_to_of_his_strengthening he_abandoned DOM the_law_of YHWH and_all Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) with_him/it.
2 and_he/it_was in_year (the)_fifth to/for_the_king Rəḩaⱱˊām Shiyshaq he_came_up the_king_of Miʦrayim/(Egypt) on Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) if/because they_had_acted_unfaithfully against_YHWH.
3 With_one_thousand and_two_hundreds chariot[s] and_with_sixty thousand horsemen and_there_was_not number to_people which they_came with_him/it from_Miʦrayim Lūⱱī Sukkites and_Kūshiy/(Cushi)tes.
4 And_he_captured DOM the_cities_of (the)_fortifications which belonged_to_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_he_came to Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
5 and_Shəmaˊyāh the_prophet he_came to Rəḩaⱱˊām and_the_leaders_of Yəhūdāh who they_had_gathered to Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) from_face/in_front_of Shiyshaq and_he/it_said to/for_them thus YHWH he_says you(pl) you(pl)_have_abandoned DOM_me and_also I I_have_abandoned you(pl) in_the_hand_of Shiyshaq.
6 And_ the_leaders_of _they_humbled_themselves of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_the_king and_they_said is_righteous YHWH.
7 And_when_ YHWH _saw if/because_that they_had_humbled_themselves the_message_of it_came of_YHWH[fn] to Shəmaˊyāh to_say they_have_humbled_themselves not I_will_destroy_them and_I_will_give to/for_them like_a_little (to)_deliverance and_not rage_of_my it_will_pour_forth on_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) by_the_hand_of Shiyshaq.
8 If/because they_will_become to_him/it (into)_subjects and_they_will_know service_of_my and_the_service_of the_kingdoms_of the_lands.
9 and_ Shiyshaq _he/it_ascended the_king_of Miʦrayim/(Egypt) on Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_he/it_took DOM the_treasures_of the_house_of YHWH and_DOM the_treasures_of the_house_of the_king DOM (the)_everything he_took and_he/it_took DOM the_shields_of the_gold which he_had_made Shəlomoh/(Solomon).
10 And_he/it_made the_king Rəḩaⱱˊām in_place_of_them shields_of bronze and_he_entrusted_them on the_hand_of the_commanders_of the_runners who_guarded the_entrance_of the_house_of the_king.
11 And_he/it_was from_sufficiency went the_king the_house_of YHWH they_came the_runners and_they_carried_them and_they_returned_them to the_guardroom_of the_runners.
12 And_when_he_humbled_himself it_turned_back from_him/it the_anger of_YHWH and_not to_destroy to_complete_destruction and_also in_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) things it_was good.
13 and_he_strengthened_himself the_king Rəḩaⱱˊām in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_he_reigned if/because was_a_son_of forty and_one year[s] Rəḩaⱱˊām when_he_became_king and_seven- teen year[s] he_reigned in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) the_city where he_had_chosen YHWH to_put DOM his/its_name there from_all the_tribes_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_name_of his/its_mother was_Naˊₐmāh the_ˊAmmōnī_.
14 And_he/it_made (the)_evil if/because not he_had_directed his/its_heart to_seek DOM YHWH.
15 and_the_matters_of Rəḩaⱱˊām (the)_former and_(the)_latter not are_they written in_the_words/messages_of Shəmaˊyāh the_prophet and_ˊIddō the_seer for_genealogical_enrolment and_the_wars_of Rəḩaⱱˊām and_Yārāⱱəˊām/(Jeroboam) were_all_of the_days.
16 And_ Rəḩaⱱˊām _he_lay_down with ancestors_of_his and_he_was_buried in_the_city_of Dāvid and_ ʼAⱱiyyāh _he_became_king son_of_his in_place_of_him.
13 in_year eight- teen to/for_the_king Yārāⱱəˊām and_he_became_king ʼAⱱiyyāh over Yəhūdāh.
2 Three years he_reigned in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_name_of his/its_mother was_Mīkāyəhū the_daughter_of ʼŪrīʼēl from Gibeah and_war it_was between ʼAⱱiyyāh and_between Yārāⱱəˊām.
3 And_ ʼAⱱiyyāh _he_bound DOM the_battle with_an_army mighty__of war four hundred(s) thousand man chosen and_Yārāⱱəˊām he_drew_up_in_formation with_him/it battle with_eight hundred(s) thousand man chosen mighty_of strength.
4 and_ ʼAⱱiyyāh _he/it_rose_up from_under (to)_the_mountain_of Tsəmārayim/(Zemaraim) which is_in_the_hill_country_of ʼEfrayim and_he/it_said listen_to_me Oh_Yārāⱱəˊām and_all Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
5 Not to/for_you(pl) to_know if/because_that YHWH the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) he_has_given kingship to_Dāvid over Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) forever to_him/it and_to_his_of_descendants a_covenant_of salt.

7 And_they_gathered on/upon/above_him/it men empty sons_of worthlessness and_they_proved_themselves_strong over Rəḩaⱱˊām the_son_of Shəlomoh and_Rəḩaⱱˊām he_was a_young_man and_weak_of heart and_not he_showed_himself_strong before_them.
8 And_now you(pl) are_saying to_show_yourselves_strong to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_kingdom_of YHWH in_the_hand_of the_descendants_of Dāvid and_you(pl) are_a_multitude great and_are_with_you(pl) calves_of gold which he_made to/for_you(pl) Yārāⱱəˊām/(Jeroboam) to_gods.
9 Not have_you(pl)_driven_out DOM the_priests_of YHWH DOM the_descendants_of ʼAhₐron and_the_Lēviyyiy and_you(pl)_have_appointed to/for_you(pl) priests like_the_peoples_of the_lands every_of (the)_one_who_comes to_fill his/its_hand with_a_young_bull a_young_one_of the_herd and_rams seven and_it_was a_priest to_not gods.
10 and_we YHWH god_of_is_our and_not we_have_abandoned_him and_are_priests who_serve to/for_YHWH the_descendants_of ʼAhₐron and_the_Lēviyyiy are_in_work.
11 And_they_are_making_smoke to/for_YHWH burnt_offerings in_morning in_morning and_in_evening in_evening and_incense_of perfume(s) and_the_row_of bread was_on the_table (the)_clean and_the_lampstand_of the_gold and_its_of_lamps to_burn in_evening in_evening if/because are_keeping we DOM the_duty_of YHWH god_of_our and_you(pl) you(pl)_have_abandoned DOM_him/it.
12 And_see/lo/see is_with_us at_head the_ʼElohīm and_his_of_priests and_the_trumpets_of the_alarm to_sound_the_battle_signal on_you(pl) Oh_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) do_not do_battle with YHWH the_god_of your(pl)_ancestors_of_of if/because not you(pl)_will_succeed.
13 And_Yārāⱱəˊām/(Jeroboam) he_had_caused_to_go_round DOM the_ambush to_come from_behind_them and_they_were to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_the_ambush was_from_behind_them.
14 And_ Yəhūdāh _they_turned and_see/lo/see to/for_them the_battle before and_behind and_they_cried_out to/for_YHWH and_the_priests were_blowing_a_trumpet[fn] on_trumpets.
15 And_ the_man_of _they_sounded_the_battle_signal of_Yəhūdāh and_he/it_was when_sounded_the_battle_signal the_man_of Yəhūdāh and_(the)_god he_defeated DOM Yārāⱱəˊām and_all Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before ʼAⱱiyyāh and_Yəhūdāh/(Yihudah).
16 And_ the_people_of _they_fled of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) from_face/in_front_of Yəhūdāh and_he_gave_them god in_their_of_hand.
17 And_they_defeated in/among_them ʼAⱱiyyāh and_his_of_people a_defeat great and_they_fell slain of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) five hundred(s) thousand man chosen.
18 And_ the_people_of _they_were_humbled of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) at_time (the)_that and_ the_people_of _they_were_strong of_Yəhūdāh if/because they_depended on YHWH the_god_of their_ancestors_of_of.
19 And_ ʼAⱱiyyāh _he_pursued after Yārāⱱəˊām/(Jeroboam) and_he_captured from_him/it cities DOM Bēyt- ʼēl and_DOM daughters_of_its and_DOM Yəshānāh/(Jeshanah) and_DOM daughters_of_its and_DOM ˊEfrōn[fn] and_its_of_daughters.
20 And_not the_strength_of he_retained of_Yārāⱱəˊām again in_the_days_of ʼAⱱiyyāh and_he_struck_him YHWH and_he/it_died.
21 and_ ʼAⱱiyyāh _he_strengthened_himself and_he_took to_him/it wives four- teen and_he/it_fathered twenty and_two sons and_six- teen daughters.
22 and_the_rest_of the_matters_of ʼAⱱiyyāh and_his_of_ways and_his_of_words/messages are_written in_the_record_of the_prophet ˊIddō.
23 [fn] and_ ʼAⱱiyyāh _he_lay_down with ancestors_of_his and_people_buried DOM_him/it in_the_city_of Dāvid and_ ʼĀşāʼ _he_became_king son_of_his in_place_of_him in_his_of_days it_was_at_peace the_earth/land ten years.
14 [fn] and_ ʼĀşāʼ _he/it_made the_good and_the_right in/on_both_eyes_of YHWH his/its_god.
2 [fn] and_he_removed DOM the_altars_of (the)_foreignness and_the_high_places and_he_broke_down DOM the_sacred_pillars and_he_cut_down DOM the_ʼAshērāh_poles.
3 [fn] and_he/it_said to_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) to_seek DOM YHWH the_god_of their_ancestors_of_of and_to_observe the_law and_the_command.
4 [fn] and_he_removed from_all the_cities_of Yəhūdāh DOM the_high_places and_DOM the_incense_altars and_it_was_at_peace the_kingdom before_him.
5 [fn] and_he/it_built cities_of fortification in_Yəhūdāh if/because it_was_at_peace the_earth/land and_there_was_not with_him/it war in_years the_these if/because YHWH he_had_given_rest to_him/it.
6 [fn] and_he/it_said to_Yəhūdāh let_us_build DOM the_cities the_these and_let_us_surround_them wall and_towers gates and_bars still_it the_earth/land is_before_of_us if/because we_have_sought DOM YHWH god_of_our we_sought_him and_he_has_given_rest to/for_us from_round_about and_they_built and_they_prospered.
7 [fn] and_he/it_was to_ʼĀşāʼ an_army which_was_carrying body_shield and_spear of_Yəhūdāh three hundred(s) thousand and_of_Binyāmīn those_who_carried_of (of)_a_shield and_those_who_bent_of (of)_a_bow two_hundred and_eighty thousand all_of these were_mighty__of strength.
8 [fn] and_he/it_went_out against_them Zeraḩ the_Kūshiy/(Cushi)te with_an_army a_thousand thousand(s) and_chariots three hundred(s) and_he_came to Marʼēshāh.
9 [fn] and_ ʼĀşāʼ _he/it_went_out before_him and_they_drew_up_in_formation battle in Zephathah to_Marʼēshāh.
10 [fn] and_ ʼĀşāʼ _he/it_called to YHWH his/its_god and_he_said Oh_YHWH there_is_not with_you to_help between great and_not strength help_us Oh_YHWH god_of_our if/because on_you we_depend and_in_your_of_name we_have_come on the_multitude the_this Oh_YHWH god_of_are_our you not let_him_retain with_you a_man.
11 [fn] and_ YHWH _he_defeated DOM the_Kūshiytes to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before ʼĀşāʼ and_before_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_they_fled the_Kūshiytes.
12 [fn] and_he_pursued_them ʼĀşāʼ and_the_people which with_him/it to to_Gərār and_it_fell of_the_Kūshiytes to_there_was_not to/for_them preservation_of_life if/because they_had_been_broken to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before YHWH and_before_of army_of_his and_they_carried_off booty much very.
13 [fn] and_they_attacked DOM all_of the_cities around Gərār if/because it_was the_dread_of YHWH on_them and_they_plundered DOM all_of the_cities if/because plunder much it_was in_them.
14 [fn] and_also the_tents_of livestock they_attacked and_they_took_captive sheep to_increase_in_number and_camels and_they_returned Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
15 and_ˊAzaryāh the_son_of ˊŌdēd it_was on/upon/above_him/it the_spirit_of god.
2 And_he/it_went_out to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before ʼĀşāʼ and_he/it_said to_him/it listen_to_me Oh_ʼĀşāʼ and_all Yəhūdāh and_Binyāmīn YHWH is_with_you(pl) when_you_are with_him/it and_if you(pl)_will_seek_him he_will_let_himself_be_found to/for_you(pl) and_if you(pl)_will_abandon_him he_will_abandon you(pl).
3 and_days many belonged_to_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to_not the_god_of truth and_to_not a_priest who_teaches and_to_not the_law.
4 And_it_turned_back in_distress to_him/it to YHWH the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_they_sought_him and_he_let_himself_be_found to/for_them.
5 And_in_times the_those there_was_not peace for_who]_went_out and_for_who]_came_in if/because disturbances great were_on all_of the_inhabitants_of the_lands.

8 and_just_as_heard ʼĀşāʼ the_words/messages the_these and_the_prophecy ˊŌdēd the_prophet he_strengthened_himself and_he_took_away the_detestable_things from_all the_land_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_Binyāmīn and_from the_cities which he_had_captured from_hill of_ʼEfrayim and_he_renewed DOM the_altar_of YHWH which to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_porch_of YHWH.
9 And_he_gathered DOM all_of Yəhūdāh and_Binyāmīn and_those_who_sojourned with_them from_ʼEfrayim and_Mənashsheh and_from_Shimˊōn if/because they_had_fallen on/upon/above_him/it from_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to_increase_in_number when_they_saw if/because_that YHWH his/its_god with_him/it.
10 and_they_gathered_together Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) in_month the_third of_year_of fif- teen of_(the)_reign of_ʼĀşāʼ.
11 And_they_sacrificed to/for_YHWH in_the_day (the)_that from the_booty which_they_had_brought ox[en] seven hundred(s) and_sheep seven_of thousand(s).
12 And_they_came in_covenant to_seek DOM YHWH the_god_of their_ancestors_of_of in_all heart_of_their and_on/over_all being_of_their.

16 And_also Maˊₐkāh the_mother_of ʼĀşāʼ the_king he_removed_her from_queen-mother that she_had_made to_an_ʼAshērāh_pole an_abominable_image and_ ʼĀşāʼ _he_cut_down DOM image_of_her_abominable and_he_pulverised_ and_he_burnt_ in_the_wadi_of Qidrōn.
17 And_the_high_places not they_were_removed from_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) only the_heart_of ʼĀşāʼ it_was complete all_of his/its_days.
18 And_he/it_brought DOM the_holy_things_of his/its_father and_his_own_of_holy_things the_house_of the_ʼElohīm silver and_gold and_utensils.

4 And_ Ben _he/it_listened[fn] Hₐdad to the_king ʼĀşāʼ and_he_sent DOM the_commanders_of the_armies which to_him/it against the_cities_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_they_attacked DOM ˊIyyōn and_DOM Dān and_DOM ʼAⱱēl Mayim and_DOM all_of the_stores_of the_cities_of Naftālī.

6 and_ʼĀşāʼ the_king he_took DOM all_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_they_carried_off DOM the_stones_of (the)_Rāmāh and_DOM wood(s)_of_its which he_had_built Baˊshāʼ and_he/it_built (is)_in_them DOM Geⱱaˊ and_DOM (the)_Miʦpāh.
7 and_at_time (the)_that Ḩₐnānī he_came the_seer to ʼĀşāʼ the_king_of Yəhūdāh and_he/it_said to_him/it because_you_depended on the_king_of ʼArām and_not you_depended on YHWH god_of_your therefore yes/correct/thus/so it_has_escaped the_army_of the_king_of ʼArām from_your(ms)_hand.
8 Not the_Kūshiy/(Cushi)tes and_the_Lūⱱī were_they (to)_an_army to_increase_in_number (to)_chariotry and_(to)_horsemen to_abundance exceedingly and_because_you_depended on YHWH he_gave_them in_your_of_hand.
9 If/because YHWH eyes_of_his are_roving_about in_all the_earth/land to_show_himself_strong with who_their_heart_of_those is_complete to_him/it you_have_acted_foolishly on this if/because from_now there_will_be with_you wars.
10 And_ ʼĀşāʼ _he_was_angry against the_seer and_he_put_him the_house_of the_stock[s] if/because in_a_rage with_him/it on this and_ ʼĀşāʼ _he_crushed some_of the_people at_time (the)_that.
11 And_see/lo/see the_matters_of ʼĀşāʼ (the)_former and_(the)_latter there_they are_written on the_scroll_of the_kings of_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
12 And_ ʼĀşāʼ _he_became_sick in_year thirty and_nine of_his_of_reign in_his_of_feet was_to (to)_upwards sickness_of_his and_also in_his_of_sickness not he_sought DOM YHWH if/because (in)_physicians.
13 And_ ʼĀşāʼ _he_lay_down with ancestors_of_his and_he/it_died in_year forty and_one of_his_reigning.
14 And_people_buried_him in_his_own_of_grave(s) which he_had_dug to_him/it in_the_city_of Dāvid and_they_made_him_lie in_place which he_had_filled spices and_kinds mixed as_ointment_mixture_of work and_they_burnt to_him/it a_burning great up_to (to)_muchness.
17 and_ Yəhōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) _he_became_king his/its_son in_place_of_him and_he_strengthened_himself on Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
2 And_he_put an_army in_all the_cities_of Yəhūdāh (the)_fortified and_he/it_gave garrisons in_land of_Yəhūdāh and_in_the_cities_of ʼEfrayim which he_had_captured ʼĀşāʼ his/its_father.
3 And_he/it_was YHWH with Yəhōshāfāţ if/because he_walked in_the_ways_of Dāvid his/its_father (the)_former and_not he_sought (to)_Baˊal.
4 If/because (to)_the_god_of his/its_father he_sought and_in_his_of_commands he_walked and_not according_to_the_deed[s]_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
5 And_ YHWH _he_established DOM the_kingdom in_his/its_hand and_ all_of _they_gave Yəhūdāh/(Judah) tribute to_Yəhōshāfāţ and_he/it_was to_him/it wealth and_honour to_increase_in_number.
6 his/its_heart And_it_was_high in_the_ways_of YHWH and_again he_removed DOM the_high_places and_DOM the_ʼAshērāh_poles from_Yəhūdāh.
7 and_in_year_of three of_his_reigning he_sent (to)_his_of_officials (to) ḩayil and_(to)_ˊOⱱadyāh and_(to)_Zəkaryāh and_(to)_Nətanʼēl and_(to)_Mīkāyəhū to_teach in_the_cities_of Yəhūdāh.
8 And_were_with_them the_Lēviyyiy Shəmaˊyāh and_Nətanyāh and_Zəⱱadyāh and_ˊAsāhʼēl and_Shəmīrāmōt[fn] and_Yəhōnātān/(Jonathan) and_ʼAdoniyyāh and_Ţōⱱiyyāh and_good ʼₐdoniyyāhū the_Lēviyyiy and_were_with_them ʼElīshāˊma and_Yəhōrām/(Jehoram) the_priests.
9 And_they_taught in_Yəhūdāh and_was_with_them the_book_of the_law_of YHWH and_they_went_round in_all the_cities_of Yəhūdāh and_they_taught among_people.
10 And_he/it_was the_dread_of YHWH on all_of the_kingdoms_of the_lands which were_around Yəhūdāh and_not they_waged_war with Yəhōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat).
11 And_from the_Fəlishtiy were_bringing to_Yəhōshāfāţ tribute and_silver a_load also the_ˊArāⱱī were_bringing to_him/it flock[s] rams seven_of thousand(s) and_seven hundred(s) and_male_goats seven_of thousand(s) and_seven hundred(s).
12 and_ Yəhōshāfāţ _he/it_was going and_becoming_great to (to)_upwards and_he/it_built in_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) fortresses and_cities_of stores.
13 And_property much it_belonged to_him/it in_the_cities_of Yəhūdāh and_men_of war mighty__of strength in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
14 And_these group[s]_of_were_their to_the_house_of their_ancestors_of_of of_Yəhūdāh commanders_of thousands ˊAdnāh was_the_commander and_were_with_him mighty__of strength three hundred(s) thousand.
15 and_on his/its_hand Yəhōḩānān/(Jehohanan) was_the_commander and_were_with_him two_hundred and_eighty thousand.
16 and_on his/its_hand ˊAmaşyāh the_son_of Zikrī who_volunteered to/for_YHWH and_were_with_him two_hundred thousand mighty_man_of strength.
17 and_from Binyāmīn a_mighty_man_of strength ʼElyādāˊ and_were_with_him _equipped_of bow and_shield two_hundred thousand.
18 and_on his/its_hand Yəhōzāⱱād/(Jehozabad) and_were_with_him one_hundred and_eighty thousand _equipped_of war.
19 these were_the_ones_who_served DOM the_king (from)_besides_of those_whom he_put the_king in_the_cities_of (the)_fortification in_all Yəhūdāh.
18 and_he/it_was to_Yəhōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) wealth and_honour to_increase_in_number and_he_became_son-in-law to_ʼAḩʼāⱱ.
2 And_he/it_descended to_the_end_of years to ʼAḩʼāⱱ to_Shomrōn and_he_slaughtered to_him/it ʼAḩʼāⱱ sheep and_cattle to_increase_in_number and_for_people which with_him/it and_he_incited_him to_go_up against Rāmot Gilˊād.
3 And_ ʼAḩʼāⱱ _he/it_said the_king_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to Yəhōshāfāţ the_king_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) will_you_go with_me Rāmot Gilˊād and_he/it_said to_him/it as_me as_you and_will_be_of_as_your_people people_of_my and_with_you in_battle.
4 And_ Yəhōshāfāţ _he/it_said to the_king_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) seek please as_day DOM the_message_of YHWH.
5 And_ the_king_of _he_gathered of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) DOM the_prophets four hundred(s) man and_he/it_said to_them will_we_go against Rāmot Gilˊād for_battle or will_I_refrain and_they_said go_up and_he_will_give_ the_ʼElohīm in_the_hand_of the_king.
6 And_ Yəhōshāfāţ _he/it_said is_there_not here a_prophet to/for_YHWH still so_that_we_may_enquire from_DOM_him.
7 And_ the_king_of _he/it_said of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to Yəhōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) still a_man one to_consult DOM YHWH from_DOM_him and_I I_hate_him if/because not_he is_prophesying on_me (to)_good if/because all_of his/its_days (to)_evil he is_Mīkāyəhū the_son_of Yimlāʼ/(Imlah) and_ Yəhōshāfāţ _he/it_said not let_him_speak the_king thus.
8 And_ the_king_of _he/it_called of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) (to) a_court-official one and_he/it_said bring_quickly Mīkāyəhū[fn] the_son_of Yimlāʼ.
9 And_the_king_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_Yəhōshāfāţ the_king_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) were_sitting each on throne_of_his they_were_clothed garments and_they_were_sitting at_the_threshing_floor the_entrance_of the_gate_of Shomrōn and_all the_prophets were_prophesying before_them.
10 And_he/it_made to_him/it Tsidqiyyāh/(Zedekiah) the_son_of Kənaˊₐnāh/(Chenaanah) horns_of iron[fn] and_he/it_said thus YHWH he_says with_these you_will_gore DOM ʼArām until destroy_them.
11 And_all the_prophets were_prophesying thus to_say go_up Rāmot Gilˊād and_succeed and_he/it_gave YHWH in_the_hand_of the_king.
12 And_the_messenger who he_had_gone to_call (to)_Mīkāyəhū he_spoke to_him/it to_say here the_words/messages_of the_prophets are_a_mouth one good concerning the_king and_let_it_be please message_of_your like_one from_them and_you_will_speak good.
13 And_ Mīkāyəhū _he/it_said by_the_life of_YHWH if/because DOM that_which he_will_say god_of_my DOM_him/it I_will_speak.
14 And_he_came to the_king and_he/it_said the_king to_him/it Oh_Mīkāh will_we_go against Rāmot Gilˊād for_battle or will_I_refrain and_he/it_said go_up and_succeed and_they_will_be_given in_your_of_hand.
15 And_he/it_said to_him/it the_king until how_many times will_I make_of_you_swear (cmp) not you_will_speak to_me only truth in/on_name_of YHWH.
16 And_he/it_said I_saw DOM all_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) scattered on the_mountains like_flock which there_is_not for_them a_shepherd and_ YHWH _he/it_said not masters belong_to_these let_them_return each to_his_own_of_house in_peace.
17 And_ the_king_of _he/it_said of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to Yəhōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) not did_I_say to_you not he_prophesies on_me good if/because (if) (to)_evil.
18 and_he/it_said for_so/thus/hence hear the_message_of YHWH I_saw DOM YHWH sitting on throne_of_his and_all the_host_of the_heavens standing on hand_of_his_right and_his_left_of_hand.
19 And_ YHWH _he/it_said who will_he_deceive DOM ʼAḩʼāⱱ the_king_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) so_that_he_will_go_up and_so_that_he_will_fall at gilˊād and_he/it_said this_ was_saying thus and_this was_saying thus.
20 And_he/it_went_out the_spirit and_it_stood to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before YHWH and_he/it_said I I_will_deceive_him and_ YHWH _he/it_said to_him/it how.
21 And_he/it_said I_will_go_out and_I_will_be to/for_wind/breath/spirit falsehood in_the_mouth_of all_of prophets_of_his and_he/it_said you_will_deceive and_also you_will_prevail go_out and_do thus.
22 And_now here he_has_put YHWH a_spirit_of falsehood in_the_mouth_of your(pl)_prophets_of_of these and_YHWH he_has_spoken on_you calamity.
23 and_ Tsidqiyyāh/(Zedekiah) _he_drew_near the_son_of Kənaˊₐnāh/(Chenaanah) and_he_struck DOM Mīkāyəhū on the_cheek and_he/it_said where this is_the_way which_it_passed_on the_spirit_of YHWH from_with_me to_speak with_you.
24 And_ Mīkāyəhū _he/it_said there_you are_about_to_see in_the_day (the)_that when you_will_go a_room in_a_room to_hide_yourself.
25 And_ the_king_of _he/it_said of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) take DOM Mīkāyəhū and_return_him to ʼĀmōn the_official_of the_city and_near/to Yōʼāsh/(Joash) the_son_of the_king.
26 And_you(pl)_will_say thus he_says the_king put this_ the_house_of (the)_imprisonment and_feed_him bread oppression and_water oppression until I_return in_peace.
27 And_ Mīkāyəhū _he/it_said if ever_(return) you_will_return in_peace not he_has_spoken YHWH by_me and_he/it_said listen Oh_peoples of_them_of_all.
28 and_ the_king_of _he/it_ascended of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_Yəhōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) the_king_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) against Rāmot Gilˊād.
29 And_ the_king_of _he/it_said of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to Yəhōshāfāţ I_will_disguise_myself and_I_will_go in_battle and_you(ms) wear clothes_of_your_own and_ the_king_of _he_disguised_himself of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_they_came in_battle.
30 And_the_king_of ʼArām he_had_commanded DOM the_commanders_of the_chariotry which to_him/it to_say not you(pl)_must_do_battle with the_small(sg) with the_great if/because (if) with the_king_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) for_him/it_being_alone.
31 And_he/it_was just_as_saw the_commanders_of the_chariotry DOM Yəhōshāfāţ and_they they_said is_the_king_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) it and_they_surrounded on/upon/above_him/it to_do_battle and_ Yəhōshāfāţ _he_cried_out and_YHWH he_helped_him and_he_lured_them god away_from_him.
32 And_he/it_was just_as_saw the_commanders_of the_chariotry if/because_that not it_was the_king_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_they_turned_back from_after_him.
33 And_someone he_drew on_bow to_his_of_innocence and_he_struck DOM the_king_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) between the_scales and_between the_body_armour and_he/it_said to_charioteer turn_around hand_of_your[fn] and_you_will_take_me_out from the_camp if/because I_have_been_wounded.
34 And_it_went_up the_battle in_the_day (the)_that and_the_king_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) he_was holding_upright in_chariot opposite_to ʼArām until the_evening and_he/it_died to_the_time was_going the_sun.
19 And_ Yəhōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) _he_returned the_king_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) to house_of_his in_safety to_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
2 And_he/it_went_out to his/its_faces/face Yēhūʼ/(Jehu) the_son_of Ḩₐnānī the_seer and_he/it_said to the_king Yəhōshāfāţ (to)_wicked to_help and_(to)_those_who_hate_of (of)_YHWH will_you_love and_by_this is_towards_you severe_anger from_to/for_face/front/presence YHWH.
3 But things good they_have_been_found with_you if/because you_have_removed the_ʼAshērāh_poles from the_earth/land and_you_have_directed heart_of_your to_seek the_ʼElohīm.
4 And_ Yəhōshāfāţ _he/it_sat_down//remained//lived in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_he_returned and_he/it_went_out among_people from seven to the_hill_country_of ʼEfrayim and_he_turned_them_back to YHWH the_god_of their_ancestors_of_of.
5 And_he_appointed judges on_the_earth in_all the_cities_of Yəhūdāh (the)_fortified for_a_city and_a_city.
6 And_he/it_said to the_judges consider what are_you(pl) doing if/because not to/for_ʼĀdām/humankind you(pl)_will_judge if/because to/for_YHWH and_with_you(pl) in_a_matter_of judgement.
7 And_now let_it_be the_dread_of YHWH on_you(pl) take_care and_act if/because there_is_not with YHWH god_of_our injustice and_lifting_up_of face and_taking_of a_bribe.
8 And_also in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) Yəhōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) he_appointed some_of the_Lēviyyiy and_the_priests and_some_of_the_heads_of the_fathers of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) for_the_judgement_of YHWH and_for_dispute[s] and_they_returned Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
9 And_he/it_commanded to_them to_say thus you(pl)_will_do in_the_fear_of YHWH in_faithfulness and_with_a_heart complete.
10 And_all case_at_law which it_will_come on_you(pl) from_your(pl)_of_brothers who_dwell in_their_of_cities between blood and_blood between law and_command and_regulations and_judgements and_you(pl)_will_warn DOM_them and_not they_will_be_guilty to/for_YHWH and_it_was severe_anger towards_you(pl) and_towards brothers_of_your(pl) thus you(pl)_will_do and_not you(pl)_will_be_guilty.
11 And_see/lo/see ʼAmaryāh the_priest_of the_head will_be_over_you(pl) to_all/each/any/every (the)_matter_of YHWH and_Zəⱱadyāh the_son_of Yishmāˊʼēl/(Ishmael) the_leader of_the_house_of of_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) to_all/each/any/every (the)_matter_of the_king and_will_be_officials the_Lēviyyiy before_you(pl) be_strong and_act and_let_it_be YHWH with the_good.
20 and_he/it_was afterwards so[fn] the_people_of they_came of_Mōʼāⱱ and_the_sons of_ˊAmmōn and_with_them some_of_the_ˊAmmōnī on Yəhōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) for_battle.
2 And_they_came and_they_told to_Yəhōshāfāţ to_say is_coming on_you a_multitude great from_the_other_side of_sea from_ʼArām and_there_they are_in tāmār that is_ ˊĒyn Gedī.
3 And_he_was_afraid and_ Yəhōshāfāţ _he/it_gave DOM his/its_faces/face to_seek to/for_YHWH and_he/it_called a_fast over all_of Yəhūdāh.
4 And_ Yəhūdāh _they_gathered to_seek from_YHWH also from_all the_cities_of Yəhūdāh they_came to_seek DOM YHWH.
5 And_ Yəhōshāfāţ _he_stood in_the_assembly_of Yəhūdāh and_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) in_house_of YHWH to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_courtyard (the)_new.
6 And_he_said Oh_YHWH the_god_of our_ancestors_of_of not are_you he god in_heavens and_you(ms) are_ruling over_all_of the_kingdoms_of the_nations and_are_in_your_of_hand power and_strength and_there_is_not with_you to_hold_ground.
7 Not you our_god_of_Oh did_you_dispossess DOM the_inhabitants_of the_earth/land (the)_this from_to/for_face/front/presence people_of_your Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_you_gave_it to_the_offspring_of ʼAⱱrāhām your_of_friend forever.
8 And_they_lived in_it and_they_have_built to/for_yourself(m) in_it a_sanctuary for_your_of_name to_say.
9 If it_will_come on_us calamity sword judgement and_pestilence and_famine we_will_stand to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before[fn] the_house the_this and_before_you(pl)_of if/because name_of_your is_in_house the_this and_we_will_cry_out to_you from_our_of_distress and_you_will_hear and_you_will_save.
10 And_now here the_people_of ˊAmmōn and_Mōʼāⱱ and_the_mountain_of Sēˊīr which not you_permitted to_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to_go in/among_them when_they_came from_the_land_of Miʦrayim/(Egypt) if/because they_turned_aside from_on_them and_not they_destroyed_them.
11 And_see/lo/see they are_repaying to_us by_coming to_drive_us_out from_your_of_possession which you_caused_us_to_possess.
12 Our_god_of_Oh not will_you_enter_into_judgement on_them if/because there_is_not in_us strength to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_multitude (the)_great the_this which_is_coming on_us and_we not we_know what will_we_do if/because are_on_you eyes_of_our.
13 And_all Yəhūdāh/(Judah) were_standing to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before YHWH also one[s]_of_their_little wives_of_their and_their_of_children.
14 and_Yaḩₐzīʼēl/(Jahaziel) the_son_of Zəkaryāh the_son_of Bənāyāh the_son_of Yəˊīʼēl/(Jeiel) the_son_of Mattanyāh the_Lēviyyiy one_of the_descendants_of ʼĀşāf it_was on/upon/above_him/it the_spirit_of YHWH in_the_middle of_the_assembly.
15 And_he/it_said pay_attention Oh_all_of Yəhūdāh and_the_inhabitants_of Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_the_king Yəhōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) thus YHWH he_says to/for_you(pl) you(pl) do_not be_afraid and_do_not be_dismayed from_face/in_front_of the_multitude (the)_great the_this if/because not to/for_you(pl) the_battle if/because to_god.
16 Tomorrow go_down on_them there_they will_be_coming_up on_the_ascent_of (the)_Tsīʦ/(Ziz) and_you(pl)_will_find DOM_them at_the_end_of the_wadi the_face_of the_wilderness_of Yərūʼēl/(Jeruel).
17 Not to/for_you(pl) to_fight in_this_battle take_your(pl)_stand stand and_see DOM the_victory_of YHWH with_you(pl) Oh_Yəhūdāh and_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) do_not be_afraid and_do_not be_dismayed tomorrow go_out before_them and_YHWH will_be_with_you(pl).
18 And_ Yəhōshāfāţ _he_bowed_low face ground_to_the and_all Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_the_inhabitants_of Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) they_fell_down to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before YHWH to_bow_down to/for_YHWH.
19 And_they_stood the_Lēviyyiy of the_descendants_of the_Qəhātites and_from the_descendants_of the_Qoraḩites to_praise to/for_YHWH the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) with_a_voice great (to)_upwards.
20 And_they_rose_early in_morning and_they_went_out to_the_wilderness_of Təqōˊa and_when_they_went_out Yəhōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) he_stood and_he/it_said listen_to_me Oh_Yəhūdāh and_the_inhabitants_of Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) trust in_YHWH god_of_your(pl) and_you(pl)_will_be_established trust in_his_of_prophets and_succeed.
21 And_he_consulted (to) the_people and_he_appointed those_who_sang to/for_YHWH and_those_who_praised to_adornment_of holiness when_went_out to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_man_equipped and_they_were_saying give_thanks to/for_YHWH if/because is_forever loyalty_of_his_covenant.
22 And_at_the_time when_they_began with_a_shout_of_joy and_praise YHWH he_set ambushers on the_people_of ˊAmmōn Mōʼāⱱ and_the_mountain_of Sēˊīr the_(ones_who)_went to_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_they_were_defeated.
23 And_ the_people_of _they_stood of_ˊAmmōn and_Mōʼāⱱ on of_the_mountain_of the_inhabitants_of Sēˊīr to_totally_destroy_them and_to_destroy_them and_just_as_they_had_finished with_the_inhabitants_of Sēˊīr they_helped each on_his_of_neighbour to_destruction.
24 And_Yəhūdāh/(Yihudah) it_came to the_watchtower of_wilderness and_they_turned to the_multitude and_there_they were_corpses fallen towards_land and_there_was_not an_escaped_remnant.
25 And_ Yəhōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) _he_went and_his_of_people to_plunder DOM booty_of_their and_they_found in/among_them to_increase_in_number and_property and_corpses and_articles_of preciousness(es) and_they_plundered to/for_them to_there_was_not carrying and_they_were days three plundering DOM the_booty if/because was_much it.
26 And_on_day (the)_fourth they_assembled to_the_valley_of Bərākāh if/because there they_blessed DOM YHWH therefore yes/correct/thus/so people_have_called DOM the_name_of the_place (the)_that the_valley_of Bərākāh until the_day.
27 And_ every_of _they_turned_back (the)_man_of Yəhūdāh and_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_Yəhōshāfāţ at_their_of_head to_return to Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) with_joy if/because he_had_made_them_rejoice YHWH from_their_of_enemies.
28 And_they_came Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) with_lyres and_with_harps and_with_trumpets to the_house_of YHWH.
29 And_ the_dread_of _he/it_was god on all_of the_kingdoms_of the_lands when_they_heard if/because_that YHWH he_had_fought with the_enemies_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
30 And_ the_kingdom_of _it_was_at_peace of_Yəhōshāfāţ and_he_had_given_rest to_him/it his/its_god from_round_about.
31 and_ Yəhōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) _he_reigned over Yəhūdāh/(Judah) a_son_of thirty and_five year[s] when_he_became_king and_twenty and_five year[s] he_reigned in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_name_of his/its_mother was_ˊAzūⱱāh the_daughter_of Shilḩī.
32 And_he/it_went in_the_way_of his/its_father ʼĀşāʼ and_not he_turned_aside from_her/it for_doing the_right in/on_both_eyes_of YHWH.
33 Only the_high_places not they_were_removed and_still the_people not heart_of_their they_directed to_the_god_of their_ancestors_of_of.
34 And_the_rest_of the_matters_of Yəhōshāfāţ (the)_former and_(the)_latter there_they are_written in_the_words/messages_of Yēhūʼ/(Jehu) the_son_of Ḩₐnānī which it_was_recorded on the_scroll_of the_kings_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
35 And_after afterwards[fn] Yəhōshāfāţ he_made_an_alliance the_king_of Yəhūdāh with ʼAḩazyāh the_king_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) he he_acted_wickedly for_doing.
36 And_he_allied_himself with_him/it for_doing ships to_go Tarshiysh and_they_made ships in geⱱer.
37 And_ ʼElīˊezer _he_prophesied the_son_of Dōdāvāhū from_Marʼēshāh on Yəhōshāfāţ to_say as_you_have_made_an_alliance with ʼAḩazyāh YHWH he_will_break DOM works_of_your and_ ships _they_were_broken and_not they_retained to_go to Tarshiysh.
21 And_ Yəhōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) _he_lay_down with ancestors_of_his and_he_was_buried with ancestors_of_his in_the_city_of Dāvid and_ Yəhōrām/(Jehoram) _he_became_king his/its_son in_place_of_him.
2 And_to/for_him/it brothers the_sons_of Yəhōshāfāţ ˊAzaryāh and_Yəḩīʼēl/(Yəˊīʼēl/(Jehiel)) and_Zəkaryāh and_ˊAzaryāhu and_Mīkāʼēl and_Shəfaţyāh all_of these were_the_sons_of Yəhōshāfāţ the_king_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
3 And_he/it_gave to/for_them father_of_their gifts many to_silver and_to_gold and_to_excellent_gifts with cities_of fortifications in_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_DOM the_kingdom he_gave to_Yəhōrām if/because he was_the_firstborn.
4 and_ Yəhōrām _he/it_rose_up over the_kingdom_of his/its_father and_he_strengthened_himself and_he_killed DOM all_of brothers_of_his with_sword and_also some_of_the_leaders_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
5 was_a_son_of thirty and_two year[s] Yəhōrām when_he_became_king and_eight years he_reigned in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
6 And_he/it_went in_the_way_of the_kings_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) just_as they_had_done the_house_of ʼAḩʼāⱱ if/because the_daughter_of ʼAḩʼāⱱ she_was for_him/it wife and_he/it_made the_evil in/on_both_eyes_of YHWH.
7 And_not he_was_willing YHWH to_destroy DOM the_house_of Dāvid on_account_of the_covenant which he_had_made to_Dāvid and_as_which he_had_said to_give to_him/it a_lamp and_to_his_of_descendants all_of the_days.
8 In_his_of_days ʼEdōm it_rebelled from_under the_hand_of Yəhūdāh and_they_made_king over_themselves a_king.
9 And_ Yəhōrām/(Jehoram) _he_passed_over with commanders_of_his and_all the_chariotry with_him/it and_he/it_was he_arose night and_he_defeated DOM ʼEdōm the_(one)_going_around to_him/it and_DOM the_commanders_of the_chariotry.
10 And_ ʼEdōm _it_has_rebelled from_under the_hand_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) until the_day the_this then Liⱱnāh it_rebelled at_time (the)_that from_under his/its_hand if/because he_had_abandoned DOM YHWH the_god_of his_ancestors_of_of.
11 Also he he_made high_places in_the_mountains_of Yəhūdāh and_he_made_prostitute_themselves DOM the_inhabitants_of Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_he_thrust_aside DOM Yəhūdāh.
12 and_it_came to_him/it a_writing from_ʼĒliyyāh the_prophet to_say thus YHWH he_says the_god_of Dāvid I_will_show_you(ms) because that not you_have_walked in_the_ways_of Yəhōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) I_will_show_you(ms) and_in_the_ways_of ʼĀşāʼ the_king_of Yəhūdāh.
13 And_you_have_walked in_the_way_of the_kings_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_you_have_made_prostitute_themselves DOM Yəhūdāh and_DOM the_inhabitants_of Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) as_made_them_prostitute_themselves the_house_of ʼAḩʼāⱱ and_also DOM brothers_of_your the_house_of I_will_show_you(ms) (the)_good more_than_you you_killed.
14 Here YHWH is_about_to_strike a_blow great on_your_of_people and_on_your(pl)_of_sons and_on_your(pl)_of_wives and_on/over_all property_of_your.
15 And_you(ms) will_be_in_sickness(es) great in_(the)_sickness_of your(pl)_bowels_of_of until they_will_come_out bowels_of_your from the_sickness days to days.
16 And_ YHWH _he_stirred_up on Yəhōrām/(Jehoram) DOM the_spirit_of the_Fəlishtiy and_the_ˊArāⱱī who were_on the_hand_of the_Kūshiy/(Cushi)tes.
17 And_they_came_up on_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_they_broke_into_it and_they_took_captive DOM all_of the_property which_was_found to_the_house_of the_king and_also sons_of_his and_his_of_wives and_not he_remained to_him/it a_son if/because (if) Yəhōʼāḩāz/(Jehoahaz) the_young__of his_sons_of_of.
18 And_after all_of this he_struck_him YHWH in_his_of_bowels to_a_sickness to_there_was_not healing.
19 And_he/it_was to_days from_days and_about_the_time_of was_going_out the_end of_days two bowels_of_his they_came_out with sickness_of_his and_he/it_died in_diseases harmful and_not they_made to_him/it people_of_his a_burning like_the_burning_of his_ancestors_of_of.
20 A_son_of thirty and_two_years he_was when_he_became_king and_eight years he_reigned in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_he/it_went with_not desire and_people_buried_him in_the_city_of Dāvid and_not in_the_graves_of the_kings.
22 And_they_made_king of_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) the_inhabitants_of DOM ʼAḩazyāh son_of_his the_small(sg) in_place_of_him if/because all_of the_former_sons it_had_killed the_marauding_band which_came with_ˊArāⱱī to_camp and_ ʼAḩazyāh _he_became_king the_son_of Yəhōrām/(Jehoram) the_king_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah).
2 was_a_son_of forty and_two year[s] ʼAḩazyāh when_he_became_king and_a_year one he_reigned in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_name_of his/its_mother was_ˊAtalyāh the_daughter_of ˊĀmərī.
3 Also he he_walked in_the_ways_of the_house_of ʼAḩʼāⱱ if/because his/its_mother she_was counsellor_of_his_female to_act_wickedly.
4 And_he/it_made the_evil in/on_both_eyes_of YHWH like_the_house_of ʼAḩʼāⱱ if/because they they_were to_him/it counsellors after the_death_of his/its_father to_destruction to_him/it.
5 Also in_their_of_counsel he_walked and_he/it_went with Yəhōrām the_son_of ʼAḩʼāⱱ the_king_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) for_battle on Ḩₐzāʼēl the_king_of ʼArām at gilˊād and_they_wounded the_ʼArām DOM Yəhōrām/(Joram).
6 And_he_returned to_get_himself_healed in_Yizrəˊʼēl/(Jezreel) if/because the_wounds which they_had_wounded_him at_Rāmāh when_he_fought with Ḩₐzāʼēl the_king_of ʼArām and_ˊAzaryāh the_son_of Yəhōrām the_king_of Yəhūdāh he_went_down to_see DOM Yəhōrām the_son_of ʼAḩʼāⱱ in_Yizrəˊʼēl/(Jezreel) if/because was_sick he.
7 And_from_god it_was the_downfall_of ʼAḩazyāh by_going to Yəhōrām and_when_he_went he_went_out with Yəhōrām/(Jehoram) to Yēhūʼ/(Jehu) the_son_of Nimshiy whom he_had_anointed_him YHWH to_cut_off DOM the_house_of ʼAḩʼāⱱ.
8 And_he/it_was just_as_entered_into_judgement Yēhūʼ with the_house_of ʼAḩʼāⱱ and_he_found DOM the_officials_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_the_sons of_the_brothers_of of_ʼAḩazyāh serving (to)_ʼAḩazyāh and_he_killed_them.
9 And_he/it_sought DOM ʼAḩazyāh and_people_captured_him and_he was_hiding_himself in_Shomrōn and_they_brought_him to Yēhūʼ and_they_put_him_to_death and_they_buried_him if/because they_said was_the_son_of Yəhōshāfāţ/(Jehoshaphat) he who he_sought DOM YHWH in_all heart_of_his and_there_is_not to_the_house_of ʼAḩazyāh to_retain strength for_kingship.
10 And_ˊAtalyāh the_mother_of ʼAḩazyāh she_saw if/because_that he_was_dead son_of_her and_she/it_arose and_she_destroyed DOM all_of the_offspring_of (the)_royalty of_the_house_of of_Yəhūdāh.
11 And_ Yəhōshaⱱˊat/(Jehoshabeath) _she/it_took the_daughter_of the_king DOM Yōʼāsh/(Joash) the_son_of ʼAḩazyāh and_she_stole DOM_him/it from_among_of the_sons_of the_king who_were_about_to_be_put_to_death and_she/it_gave DOM_him/it and_DOM nurse_of_his in_the_chamber_of the_beds and_she_hid_him Yəhōshaⱱˊat/(Jehoshabeath) the_daughter_of the_king Yəhōrām/(Jehoram) the_wife_of Yəhōyādāˊ/(Jehoiada) the_priest/officer if/because she she_was the_sister_of ʼAḩazyāh from_face/in_front_of ˊAtalyāh and_not she_put_him_to_death.
12 And_he/it_was with_them in_house_of the_ʼElohīm hiding_himself six years and_ˊAtalyāh was_reigning over the_earth/land.
23 and_in_year (the)_seventh Yəhōyādāˊ he_strengthened_himself and_he/it_took DOM the_commanders_of the_hundreds to_ˊAzaryāh the_son_of Yəroḩām/(Jeroham) and_to_Yishmāˊʼēl/(Ishmael) the_son_of Yəhōḩānān/(Jehohanan) and_to_ˊAzaryāh the_son_of ˊŌⱱēd and_DOM Maˊₐsēyāh the_son_of ˊAdāyāh and_DOM ʼElīshāfāţ the_son_of Zikrī with_him/it in_covenant.
2 And_they_went_around in_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_they_gathered DOM the_Lēviyyiy from_all the_cities_of Yəhūdāh and_the_heads_of the_fathers of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_they_came to Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
3 And_ all_of _it_made the_assembly a_covenant in_house_of the_ʼElohīm with the_king and_he/it_said to/for_them here the_son_of the_king he_will_reign just_as he_spoke YHWH on the_sons_of Dāvid.
4 This is_the_thing which you(pl)_will_do the_third_ of_you(pl) who_come_of (of)_the_sabbath to_priests and_to_Lēviyyiy will_become_(into)_the_gatekeepers_of the_thresholds.
5 And_the_third_ in_house_of the_king and_the_third_ will_be_at_the_gate_of the_foundation and_all the_people will_be_in_the_courtyards_of the_house_of YHWH.
6 And_not let_anyone_go the_house_of YHWH if/because (if) the_priests and_those_who_are_serving of_Lēviyyiy they they_will_go if/because are_holiness they and_all the_people they_will_keep the_duty_of YHWH.
7 And_they_will_surround the_Lēviyyiy DOM the_king all_around each_man and_his_of_weapons in_his/its_hand and_the_one_who_comes into the_house he_will_be_put_to_death and_be with the_king when_he_comes and_when_he_goes_out.
8 And_they_made the_Lēviyyiy and_all Yəhūdāh/(Judah) according_to_all that Yəhōyādāˊ/(Jehoiada) he_had_commanded the_priest/officer and_they_took each DOM men_of_his those_who_came_of (of)_the_sabbath with those_who_went_out_of (of)_the_sabbath if/because not Yəhōyādāˊ he_let_go_off_duty the_priest/officer DOM the_divisions.
9 And_ Yəhōyādāˊ _he/it_gave the_priest/officer to_the_commanders_of the_hundreds DOM the_spears and_DOM the_shields and_DOM the_shields which to/for_the_king Dāvid which were_the_house_of the_ʼElohīm.
10 And_he_stationed DOM all_of the_people and_each weapon_of_his was_in_his_of_hand from_the_side_of the_house (the)_right to the_side_of the_house (the)_left to_altar and_to_house at the_king all_around.
11 And_they_brought_out DOM the_son_of the_king and_they_put on/upon/above_him/it DOM the_crown and_DOM the_transcript and_they_made_king DOM_him/it and_they_anointed_him Yəhōyādāˊ and_his_of_sons and_they_said may_he_live the_king.
12 and_ ˊAtalyāh _she_heard DOM the_sound_of the_people who_were_running and_who_were_praising DOM the_king and_she_went to the_people the_house_of YHWH.
13 And_she/it_saw and_see/lo/see the_king was_standing at pillar_of_his at_entrance and_the_officials and_the_trumpets were_with the_king and_all the_people_of the_earth/land was_joyful and_it_was_giving_a_blast on_trumpets and_the_singers were_with_the_instruments_of (the)_song (and)_they_were_leading to_praise and_ ˊAtalyāh _she_tore DOM clothes_of_her and_she/it_said treason treason.
14 and_ Yəhōyādāˊ/(Jehoiada) _he_sent_out the_priest/officer DOM the_commanders_of the_hundreds the_officers_of the_army and_he/it_said to_them bring_her_out to from_between_of the_ranks and_the_one_who_goes after_her he_will_be_put_to_death with_sword if/because he_had_said the_priest/officer not you(pl)_must_put_her_to_death the_house_of YHWH.
15 And_they_put to/for_her/it hands and_she_went to the_entrance_of the_gate_of the_horses the_house_of the_king and_they_put_her_to_death there.
16 and_ Yəhōyādāˊ _he_made a_covenant between_himself and_between all_of the_people and_between the_king to_be (into)_a_people to/for_YHWH.
17 And_ all_of _they_came the_people the_house_of (the)_Baˊal and_they_pulled_it_down and_DOM altars_of_its and_DOM images_of_its they_broke and_DOM Mattān the_priest_of (the)_Baˊal they_killed to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_altars.
18 And_ Yəhōyādāˊ _he/it_assigned the_oversight(s)_of the_house_of YHWH in_the_hand_of the_priests the_Lēviyyiy whom Dāvid he_had_assigned over the_house_of YHWH to_ the_burnt_offerings_of _offer_up of_YHWH according_what_is_written in_the_law_of Mosheh with_joy and_with_song on the_hands_of Dāvid.
19 And_he_stationed the_gatekeepers at the_gates_of the_house_of YHWH and_not he_came a__unclean to/from_all/each/any/every matter.
20 And_he/it_took DOM the_commanders_of the_hundreds and_DOM the_nobles and_DOM the_rulers over_people and_DOM all_of the_people_of the_earth/land and_he_brought_down DOM the_king from_the_house_of YHWH and_they_came in_the_middle of_the_gate_of (the)_upper the_house_of the_king and_they_made_sit DOM the_king on the_throne_of (the)_royalty.
21 And_ all_of _they_rejoiced the_people_of the_earth/land and_the_city it_was_at_peace and_DOM ˊAtalyāh they_had_put_to_death with_sword.
24 was_a_son_of seven years Yōʼāsh/(Joash) when_he_became_king and_forty year[s] he_reigned in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_name_of his/its_mother was_Tsiⱱyāh/(Zibiah) from sheⱱaˊ.
2 And_ Yōʼāsh _he/it_made the_right in/on_both_eyes_of YHWH all_of the_days_of Yəhōyādāˊ/(Jehoiada) the_priest/officer.
3 And_he_took to_him/it Yəhōyādāˊ wives two and_he/it_fathered sons and_daughters.
4 And_he/it_was afterwards so[fn] it_was with the_heart_of Yōʼāsh to_renew DOM the_house_of YHWH.
5 And_he_assembled DOM the_priests and_the_Lēviyyiy and_he/it_said to/for_them go_out to_the_cities_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_collect from_all Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) money to_repair DOM the_house_of your(pl)_god_of_of from_sufficiency a_year in_a_year and_you(pl) you(pl)_will_do_quickly to_the_message/thing/matter and_not they_acted_quickly the_Lēviyyiy.
6 And_he/it_called the_king (to)_Yəhōyādāˊ the_chief and_he/it_said to_him/it why not have_you_required on the_Lēviyyiy to_bring from_Yəhūdāh and_from_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) DOM the_tax_of Mosheh the_servant_of YHWH and_of_the_assembly of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to_the_tent_of the_transcript.
7 If/because ˊAtalyāh the_wickedness her/its_sons/descendants they_had_broken_into DOM the_house_of the_ʼElohīm and_also all_of the_holy_things_of the_house_of YHWH they_had_used for_Baˊal.
8 And_he/it_said the_king and_they_made a_chest one and_they_put_it at_the_gate_of the_house_of YHWH outside_to_the.
9 And_they_made a_proclamation in_Yəhūdāh and_in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) to_bring to/for_YHWH the_tax_of Mosheh the_servant_of the_ʼElohīm on Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) in_wilderness.
10 And_ all_of _they_rejoiced the_officials and_all the_people and_they_brought and_they_threw to_chest until (to)_finished.
11 And_he/it_was at_the_time_of when_someone_brought DOM the_chest to the_overseer_of the_king by_the_hand_of the_Lēviyyiy and_just_as_they_saw if/because_that was_much the_money and_ the_scribe_of _he_came the_king and_the_representative_of the_priest_of the_head and_they_poured_out DOM the_chest and_they_took_it and_they_returned_it to place_of_its thus they_did to_a_day in/on_day and_they_gathered money to_increase_in_number.
12 And_he_gave_it the_king and_Yəhōyādāˊ/(Jehoiada) to the_doer[s]_of the_work_of the_service_of the_house_of YHWH and_they_were hiring stonemasons and_craftsmen to_renew the_house_of YHWH and_also (to)_craftsmen_of iron and_bronze to_repair DOM the_house_of YHWH.
13 And_they_worked the_doers_of the_work and_ the_repair _it_went_up for_work by_their_of_hand and_they_erected DOM the_house_of the_ʼElohīm on measurement_of_its and_they_strengthened_it.
14 And_just_as_they_had_finished they_brought to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_king and_Yəhōyādāˊ DOM the_remainder_of the_money and_someone_made_it articles for_the_house_of YHWH articles_of service and_offering_up and_pans and_articles_of gold and_silver and_they_were offering_up burnt_offerings in_house_of YHWH continually all_of the_days_of Yəhōyādāˊ.
15 and_ Yəhōyādāˊ _he_became_old and_he_was_satisfied days and_he/it_died a_son_of one_hundred and_thirty year[s] at_his_of_death.
16 And_people_buried_him in_the_city_of Dāvid with the_kings if/because he_had_done good in_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_with the_ʼElohīm and_his/its_house(hold).
17 and_after the_death_of Yəhōyādāˊ/(Jehoiada) the_leaders_of they_came of_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_they_bowed_down to/for_the_king then he_listened the_king to_them.
18 And_they_abandoned DOM the_house_of YHWH the_god_of their_ancestors_of_of and_they_served DOM the_ʼAshērāh_poles and_DOM the_idols and_he/it_was severe_anger towards Yəhūdāh and_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) in_their_of_guilt this.
19 And_he_sent (is)_in_them prophets to_bring_them_back to YHWH and_they_warned (in)_them and_not they_gave_ear.
20 and_spirit god it_clothed DOM Zəkaryāh the_son_of Yəhōyādāˊ the_priest/officer and_he_stood from_under (to)_people and_he/it_said to/for_them thus he_says the_ʼElohīm why are_you(pl) transgressing DOM the_commands_of YHWH and_not you(pl)_will_prosper if/because you(pl)_have_abandoned DOM YHWH and_he_has_abandoned you(pl).
21 And_they_conspired on/upon/above_him/it and_they_stoned_him stone[s] by_the_command_of the_king in_the_courtyard_of the_house_of YHWH.
22 And_not Yōʼāsh/(Joash) he_remembered the_king the_loyalty which Yəhōyādāˊ he_had_done his/its_father with_him/it and_he_killed DOM his/its_son and_just_as_he_died he_said may_he_see YHWH and_may_he_require.
23 and_he/it_was to_the_circuit_of the_year it_came_up on/upon/above_him/it the_army_of ʼArām and_they_came to Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_they_destroyed DOM all_of the_leaders_of the_people from_the_people and_all booty_of_their they_sent to_the_king_of Dammeseq.
24 If/because with_a_small_number_of men they_came the_army_of ʼArām and_YHWH he_gave in_their_of_hand an_army to_increase_in_number exceedingly if/because they_had_abandoned DOM YHWH the_god_of their_ancestors_of_of and_DOM Yōʼāsh they_did judgement(s).
25 And_when_they_went from_him/it if/because they_had_left DOM_him/it with_sicknesses[fn] great they_conspired on/upon/above_him/it servants_of_his_own in_the_blood(s)_of the_sons_of Yəhōyādāˊ/(Jehoiada) the_priest/officer and_they_killed_him on bed_of_his and_he/it_died and_they_buried_him in_the_city_of Dāvid and_not they_buried_him in_the_graves_of the_kings.
26 and_these are_the_ones_who_conspired on/upon/above_him/it Zāⱱād the_son_of Shimˊat the_ˊAmmōnī_ and_Yəhōzāⱱād/(Jehozabad) the_son_of Shimryt the_Mōʼāⱱite_.
27 And_his_of_sons and[fn] of_the_oracle on/upon/above_him/it and_the_founding of_the_house_of the_ʼElohīm there_they are_written on the_record_of the_scroll_of the_kings and_ ʼAmaʦyāh _he_became_king son_of_his in_place_of_him.
25 a_son_of twenty and_five year[s] ʼAmaʦyāh he_became_king and_twenty and_nine year[s] he_reigned in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_name_of his/its_mother was_Yəhōˊaddin/(Jehoaddan) from_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
2 And_he/it_made the_right in/on_both_eyes_of YHWH only not with_a_heart complete.
3 And_he/it_was just_as it_was_secure the_kingdom on/upon/above_him/it and_he_killed DOM servants_of_his who_had_struck_down DOM the_king his/its_father.
4 And_DOM children_of_their not he_put_to_death if/because according_what_is_written in_law in_the_book_of Mosheh which he_commanded YHWH to_say not they_will_die parents on children and_children not they_will_die on parents if/because each for_his_own_of_sin they_will_die.
5 and_ ʼAmaʦyāh _he_assembled DOM Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_he_appointed_them to_the_house_of ancestors to_the_commanders_of the_thousands and_to_the_commanders_of the_hundreds to/from_all/each/any/every Yəhūdāh and_Binyāmīn and_he_enrolled_them (to)_from_a_son_of twenty year[s] and_(to)_upwards and_he_found_them three hundred(s) thousand chosen_man who_goes_forth warfare who_holds a_spear and_a_body_shield.
6 And_he_hired from_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) one_hundred thousand mighty_man_of strength for_one_hundred talent[s]_of silver.
7 And_(the)_man_of the_ʼElohīm he_came to_him/it to_say the_king not let_it_go with_you the_army_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) if/because not YHWH is_with Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) all_of the_descendants_of ʼEfrayim.
8 If/because (if) go you act be_strong for_battle he_will_overthrow_you the_ʼElohīm to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_enemy if/because there_is strength in_god to_help and_to_overthrow.
9 And_ ʼAmaʦyāh _he/it_said to_the_man_of the_ʼElohīm and_what is_to_do to_the_one_hundred_of the_talent[s] which I_paid to_the_troop[s]_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_ the_man_of _he/it_said the_ʼElohīm there_is to/for_YHWH to_give to/for_yourself(m) much more_than_this.
10 And_he_separated_them ʼAmaʦyāh (to)_the_troop[s] which it_had_come to_him/it from_ʼEfrayim to_go to_their_of_place anger_of_their and_it_glowed/burnt exceedingly on_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_they_returned to_their_of_place in_the_heat_of anger.
11 and_ʼAmaʦyāh he_strengthened_himself and_he_led_out DOM people_of_his and_he/it_went the_Valley_of Salt and_he_struck_down DOM the_people_of Sēˊīr ten_of thousand(s).
12 And_ten_of thousand(s) alive the_people_of they_took_captive of_Yəhūdāh and_they_brought_them to_the_top_of the_cliff and_they_threw_them from_the_top_of (the)_cliff and_all_of_of_them they_were_split_open.
13 and_the_sons of_the_troop which he_had_turned_back ʼAmaʦyāh from_going with_him/it to_battle and_they_made_a_raid on_the_cities_of Yəhūdāh from_Shomrōn and_unto Bēyt Ḩōrōn and_they_struck_down from_them three_of thousand(s) and_they_plundered plunder much.
14 and_he/it_was after came ʼAmaʦyāh from_when_defeated DOM the_ʼEdōmites and_he/it_brought DOM the_gods_of the_people_of Sēˊīr and_he_set_them_up to_him/it to_gods and_before_them_of he_bowed_down and_to_them he_made_smoke.
15 And_it_glowed/burnt the_anger of_YHWH on_ʼAmaʦyāh and_he_sent to_him/it a_prophet and_he/it_said to_him/it to/for_what have_you_sought DOM the_gods_of the_people which not they_delivered DOM people_of_their_own from_your(ms)_hand.
16 And_he/it_was when_he_was_speaking to_him/it and_he/it_said to_him/it into_a_counsellor to/for_the_king have_we_made_you cease to/for_yourself(m) to/for_what will_people_strike_you_down and_he_ceased the_prophet and_he/it_said I_know if/because_that he_has_planned god to_destroy_you if/because you_have_done this and_not you_have_listened to_my_of_counsel.
17 and_ ʼAmaʦyāh _he_took_counsel the_king_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_he_sent to Yōʼāsh/(Joash) the_son_of Yəhōʼāḩāz/(Jehoahaz) the_son_of Yēhūʼ/(Jehu) the_king_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to_say wwww[fn] let_us_look_at_one_another faces.
18 And_ Yōʼāsh _he_sent the_king_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to ʼAmaʦyāh the_king_of Yəhūdāh to_say the_thornbush which was_in_Ləⱱānōn it_sent to the_cedar which was_in_Ləⱱānōn to_say give DOM daughter_of_your to_my_of_son to/for_(a)_woman and_ the_animal_of _it_passed_by the_field which was_in_Ləⱱānōn and_it_trampled DOM the_thornbush.
19 You_have_said here you_have_defeated DOM ʼEdōm and_it_has_lifted_you heart_of_your to_display_honour now remain in_your_of_house to/for_what will_you_engage_in_strife with_harm and_you_will_fall you and_Yəhūdāh/(Yihudah) with_you.
20 And_not ʼAmaʦyāh he_listened if/because was_from_(the)_god it so_as to_give_them in_a_hand if/because they_had_sought DOM the_gods_of ʼEdōm.
21 And_ Yōʼāsh _he/it_ascended the_king_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_they_looked_at_one_another faces he and_ʼAmaʦyāh the_king_of Yəhūdāh in_house_of shemesh which belonged_to_Yəhūdāh/(Judah).
22 And_ Yəhūdāh _it_was_defeated to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_they_fled each to_his_of_tents.
23 And_DOM ʼAmaʦyāh the_king_of Yəhūdāh the_son_of Yōʼāsh/(Joash) the_son_of Yəhōʼāḩāz/(Jehoahaz) Yōʼāsh he_seized the_king_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) in_house_of shemesh and_he_brought_him Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_he_made_a_breach in_the_wall_of Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) from_the_gate_of ʼEfrayim to the_gate_of the_face four hundred(s) cubit[s].
24 And_all the_gold and_the_silver and_DOM all_of the_vessels which_were_found in_house_of the_ʼElohīm with ˊŌⱱēd- ʼEdōm and_DOM the_treasures_of the_house_of the_king and_DOM the_sons_of the_pledges and_he_returned Shomrōn.
25 and_ ʼAmaʦyāh _he/it_lived the_son_of Yōʼāsh the_king_of Yəhūdāh after the_death_of Yōʼāsh the_son_of Yəhōʼāḩāz the_king_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) fif- teen year[s].
26 And_the_rest_of the_matters_of ʼAmaʦyāh (the)_former and_(the)_latter not there_are_they written on the_scroll_of the_kings_of Yəhūdāh and_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
27 And_from_the_time when he_turned_aside ʼAmaʦyāh from_after YHWH and_people_conspired on/upon/above_him/it a_conspiracy in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_he_fled to_Lākīsh and_they_sent after_him to_Lākīsh and_they_put_him_to_death there.
28 And_they_carried_him on the_horses and_they_buried DOM_him/it with ancestors_of_his in_the_city_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah).
26 And_ all_of _they_took the_people_of Yəhūdāh DOM ˊUzziyyāh and_he was_a_son_of six- teen year[s] and_they_made_king DOM_him/it in_place_of his/its_father ʼAmaʦyāh.
2 He he_built DOM ʼĒylōt and_he_restored_it to_Yəhūdāh after lay_down the_king with ancestors_of_his.
3 was_a_son_of six- teen year[s] ˊUzziyyāh when_he_became_king and_fifty and_two year[s] he_reigned in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_name_of his/its_mother was_Yəkāləyāh/(Jecholiah)[fn] from Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
4 And_he/it_made the_right in/on_both_eyes_of YHWH according_to_all that he_had_done ʼAmaʦyāh his/its_father.
5 And_he/it_was to_seek god in_the_days_of Zəkaryāh who_was_skilled in_the_seeing the_ʼElohīm and_in_the_days_of his_seeking DOM YHWH he_made_him_prosper the_ʼElohīm.
6 and_he/it_went_out and_he_fought against_Fəlishtiy and_he_made_a_breach_in DOM the_wall_of Gath and_DOM the_wall_of Yaⱱneh/(Jabneh) and_DOM the_wall_of ʼAshdōd and_he_built cities in_ʼAshdōd and_among_Fəlishtiy.
7 And_he_helped_him the_ʼElohīm on the_Fəlishtiy and_on the_ˊArāⱱī[fn] who_were_dwelling in baˊal and_the_Məˊūnāy.
8 And_they_paid the_ˊAmmōnī tribute to_ˊUzziyyāh his/its_name and_he/it_went to the_entrance[fn] of_Miʦrayim/(Egypt) if/because he_displayed_strength to (to)_upwards.
9 And_ ˊUzziyyāh _he/it_built towers in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) at the_gate_of the_corner and_at the_gate_of the_valley and_at the_buttress and_he_made_them_strong.
10 And_he/it_built towers in_wilderness and_he_dug wells many if/because livestock much it_belonged to_him/it and_in_Shephelah and_in_plain farmers and_vinedressers in_mountains and_in_orchard[s] if/because loving the_ground he_was.
11 and_he/it_was to_ˊUzziyyāh an_army maker[s]_of war those_who_go_forth_of army to_troop[s] by_the_number_of their_muster_of_of by_the_hand_of Yəˊīʼēl/(Jeiel)[fn] the_scribe and_Maˊₐsēyāh the_official on the_hand_of Ḩₐnanyāh one_of_the_officials_of the_king.
12 All_of the_number_of the_heads_of the_fathers of_mighty__of strength two_thousand and_six hundred(s).
13 And_was_on hand_of_their an_army_of war three hundred(s) thousand and_seven_of thousand(s) and_five hundred(s) makers_of war with_power_of strength to_help to/for_the_king on the_enemy.
14 And_he_prepared to/for_them ˊUzziyyāh to/from_all/each/any/every the_army shields and_spears and_helmets and_body_armour(s) and_bows and_(to)_stones_of slings.
15 And_he/it_made in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) war_engines the_invention_of an_inventor to_be on the_towers and_on the_corners to_shoot with_arrows and_with_stones large his/its_name and_he/it_went_out to (to)_from_a_distance if/because he_made_wonderful to_be_helped until if/because he_was_strong.
16 And_according_to_of_his_strengthening his/its_heart it_was_haughty until (to)_behaved_corruptly and_he_acted_unfaithfully against_YHWH his/its_god and_he_went into the_temple_of YHWH to_make_smoke on the_altar_of (the)_incense.
17 And_he_went after_him ˊAzaryāh the_priest/officer and_were_with_him priests to/for_YHWH eighty sons_of strength.
18 And_they_took_their_stand on ˊUzziyyāh the_king and_they_said to_him/it not to/for_yourself(m) Oh_ˊUzziyyāh to_make_smoke to/for_YHWH if/because to_priests the_descendants_of ʼAhₐron who_are_consecrated to_make_smoke go_out from the_sanctuary if/because you_have_acted_unfaithfully and_not to/for_yourself(m) for_honour from_YHWH god.
19 And_ ˊUzziyyāh _he_was_enraged and_was_in_his_of_hand a_censer to_make_smoke and_when_he_was_enraged with the_priests and_(the)_skin_disease it_arose on_his_of_forehead to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_priests in_house_of YHWH from_under to_the_altar_of (the)_incense.
20 And_he_turned to_him/it ˊAzaryāh the_priest_of the_head and_all the_priests and_see/lo/see he was_one_who_had_a_skin_disease on_his_of_forehead and_they_hastened_him from_there and_also he he_hurried_himself to_go_out if/because he_had_struck_him YHWH.
21 And_he/it_was ˊUzziyyāh the_king having_a_skin_disease until the_day_of his_death_of_of and_he/it_sat_down//remained//lived the_house_of (the)_separateness[fn] having_a_skin_disease if/because he_was_cut_off from_the_house_of YHWH and_Yōtām/(Jotham) his/its_son was_over the_house_of the_king he_was_judging DOM the_people_of the_earth/land.
22 And_the_rest_of the_matters_of ˊUzziyyāh (the)_former and_(the)_latter[fn] Yəshaˊyāh/(Isaiah) he_has_written the_son_of ʼĀmōʦ the_prophet.
23 And_ ˊUzziyyāh _he_lay_down with ancestors_of_his and_people_buried DOM_him/it with ancestors_of_his in_the_field_of (the)_grave which belonged_to_kings if/because they_said was_one_who_had_a_skin_disease he and_ Yōtām _he_became_king his/its_son in_place_of_him.
27 was_a_son_of twenty and_five year[s] Yōtām when_he_became_king and_six- teen year[s] he_reigned in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_name_of his/its_mother was_Yərūshāʼ/(Jerusha) the_daughter_of Tsādōq/(Zadok).
2 And_he/it_made the_right in/on_both_eyes_of YHWH according_to_all that he_had_done ˊUzziyyāh his/its_father only not he_went into the_temple_of YHWH and_yet the_people were_behaving_corruptly.
3 He he_built DOM the_gate_of the_house_of YHWH (the)_upper and_on_the_wall_of (the)_ˊOfel he_built to_increase_in_number.
4 And_cities he_built in_the_hill_country_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_in_heights he_built fortresses and_towers.
5 And_he he_waged_war with the_king_of the_people_of ˊAmmōn and_he_prevailed over_them and_they_gave to_him/it the_people_of ˊAmmōn in_year (the)_that one_hundred talent[s]_of silver and_ten_of thousand(s) kor_measures wheat(s) and_barley(s) ten_of thousand(s) this they_brought to_him/it the_people_of ˊAmmōn and_in_year the_second(fs) and_(the)_third.
6 And_ Yōtām/(Jotham) _he_strengthened_himself if/because he_had_directed ways_of_his to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before YHWH his/its_god.
7 And_the_rest_of the_matters_of Yōtām and_all wars_of_his and_his_of_ways there_they are_written on the_scroll_of the_kings_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_Yəhūdāh/(Yihudah).
8 A_son_of twenty and_five year[s] he_was when_he_became_king and_six- teen year[s] he_reigned in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
9 And_ Yōtām _he_lay_down with ancestors_of_his and_people_buried DOM_him/it in_the_city_of Dāvid and_ ʼĀḩāz _he_became_king his/its_son in_place_of_him.
28 was_a_son_of twenty year[s] ʼĀḩāz when_he_became_king and_six- teen year[s] he_reigned in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_not he_did the_right in/on_both_eyes_of YHWH like_Dāvid his/its_father.
2 And_he/it_went in_the_ways_of the_kings_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_also molten_images he_made for_Baˊal.
3 And_he he_made_smoke in son_of Hinnom and_he_burnt DOM sons_of_his in_fire according_to_the_abominations_of the_nations which he_had_dispossessed YHWH from_face/in_front_of the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
4 And_he_sacrificed and_he_made_smoke at_places and_on the_hills and_under every_of tree luxuriant.
5 And_he_gave_him YHWH his/its_god in_the_hand_of the_king_of ʼArām and_they_defeated in_him/it and_they_took_captive from_him/it captive[s] large and_they_brought_them Dammeseq and_also in_the_hand_of the_king_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) he_was_given and_he_defeated in/on/over_him/it a_defeat great.
6 and_ Fəqaḩyāh _he_killed the_son_of Rəmalyāhū among_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) one_hundred and_twenty thousand in/on_day one (the)_all were_sons_of strength because_they_had_abandoned DOM YHWH the_god_of their_ancestors_of_of.
7 And_ Zikrī _he_killed (the)_warrior_of ʼEfrayim DOM Maˊₐsēyāh the_son_of the_king and_DOM ˊAzrīqām the_officer_of the_house and_DOM ʼElqānāh the_second_of the_king.
8 and_ the_people_of _they_took_captive of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) of_their_of_relatives two_hundred thousand women sons and_daughters and_also booty much they_plundered from_them and_they_brought DOM the_booty to_Shomrōn.
9 and_there he_was a_prophet to/for_YHWH was_ˊŌdēd his/its_name and_he/it_went_out to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_army which_was_coming to_Shomrōn and_he/it_said to/for_them here in_the_rage_of YHWH the_god_of your(pl)_ancestors_of_of towards Yəhūdāh he_gave_them in_your_of_hand and_you(pl)_have_killed among_them in_a_rage which_to to_heavens it_has_reached.
10 And_now the_people_of Yəhūdāh and_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) you(pl) are_saying to_force_into_slavery to_male_slaves and_to_female_slaves to/for_you(pl) not certainly you(pl) with_you(pl) are_guilt(s) to/for_YHWH god_of_your(pl).
11 And_now listen_to_me and_return the_captive[s] which you(pl)_have_taken_captive from_your(pl)_of_relatives if/because the_burning_of the_anger of_YHWH is_towards_you(pl).
12 and_ men _they_rose_up of_the_chiefs_of of_the_descendants_of of_ʼEfrayim ˊAzaryāh the_son_of Yəhōḩānān/(Jehohanan) Berekyāh the_son_of Məshillēmōt and_Jechizkiah the_son_of Shallūm and_ˊAmāsāʼ the_son_of Ḩadlay on the_(ones_who)_went from the_war.
13 And_they_said to/for_them not you(pl)_must_bring DOM the_captive[s] here if/because (to)_the_guilt_of YHWH on_us you(pl) are_saying to_add to sins_of_our and_to guilt_of_our if/because much guilt to/for_us and_burning_of anger is_towards Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
14 and_he_left the_man_equipped DOM the_captive[s] and_DOM the_plunder to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_commanders and_all the_assembly.
15 And_they_arose the_men who they_had_been_designated by_names and_they_took_hold on_captive[s] and_all people_of_their_naked they_clothed from the_booty and_they_clothed_them and_they_shod_them and_they_fed_them and_they_gave_them_to_drink and_they_anointed_them and_they_led_them on_donkeys to/from_all/each/any/every one_who_stumbled and_they_brought_them Yərīḩō/(Jericho) the_city_of the_palm_trees beside relatives_of_their and_they_returned Shomrōn.
16 at_time (the)_that he_sent the_king ʼĀḩāz to the_kings_of ʼAshshūr to_help to_him/it.
17 And_again the_ʼEdōmites they_had_come and_they_had_defeated (in)_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_they_had_taken_captive captive[s].
18 And_the_Fəlishtiy they_had_made_a_raid on_the_cities_of the_Shephelah and_the_Negeⱱ of_Yəhūdāh and_they_had_captured DOM Bēyt Shemesh and_DOM ʼAyyālōn and_DOM (the)_Gədērōt and_DOM Sōkoh and_her/its_daughters and_DOM Timnah and_her/its_daughters and_DOM Gimzō and_DOM daughters_of_its and_they_lived there.
19 If/because YHWH he_had_humbled DOM Yəhūdāh in_account_of ʼĀḩāz the_king_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) if/because he_had_allowed_lack_of_restraint in_Yəhūdāh and_he_had_acted_unfaithfully unfaithfulness against_YHWH.
20 And_he_came on/upon/above_him/it Tiglat pilʼeşer the_king_of ʼAshshūr and_he/it_laid_siege to_him/it and_not he_strengthened_him.
21 If/because ʼĀḩāz he_had_plundered DOM the_house_of YHWH and_DOM the_house_of the_king and_the_officials and_he/it_gave to_the_king_of ʼAshshūr and_not for_help to_him/it.
22 And_at_the_time_of harassed to_him/it and_he_increased to_act_unfaithfully against_YHWH that the_king ʼĀḩāz.
23 And_he/it_sacrificed to_the_gods_of Dammeseq which_had_defeated in/on/over_him/it and_he/it_said if/because the_gods_of the_kings_of ʼArām they are_helping them to/for_them I_will_sacrifice and_they_will_help_me and_they they_became to_him/it (into)_causing_his_overthrow and_to/for_all Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
24 And_ ʼĀḩāz _he_gathered DOM the_utensils_of the_house_of the_ʼElohīm and_he_cut_up DOM the_utensils_of the_house_of the_ʼElohīm and_he/it_closed_up DOM the_doors_of the_house_of YHWH and_he/it_made to_him/it altars in_all corner in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
25 And_on/over_all city and_a_city of_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) he_made high_places to_make_smoke to_gods other and_he_provoked DOM YHWH the_god_of his_ancestors_of_of.
26 And_the_rest_of his_matters_of_of and_all ways_of_his (the)_former and_(the)_latter there_they are_written on the_scroll_of the_kings_of Yəhūdāh and_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
27 And_ ʼĀḩāz _he_lay_down with ancestors_of_his and_people_buried_him in_city in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) if/because not they_brought_him to_the_graves_of the_kings_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_ Ḩizqiyyāh _he_became_king son_of_his in_place_of_him.
29 Ḩizqiyyāh he_became_king a_son_of twenty and_five year[s] and_twenty and_nine year[s] he_reigned in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_name_of his/its_mother was_ʼAⱱiyyāh the_daughter_of Zəkaryāh.
2 And_he/it_made the_right in/on_both_eyes_of YHWH according_to_all that he_had_done Dāvid his/its_father.
3 He in_year (the)_first of_his_reigning in_month (the)_first he_opened DOM the_doors_of the_house_of YHWH and_he_repaired_them.
4 And_he/it_brought DOM the_priests and_DOM the_Lēviyyiy and_he_gathered_them to_the_open_place_of the_east.
5 And_he/it_said to/for_them listen_to_me Oh_Lēviyyiy now consecrate_yourselves and_consecrate DOM the_house_of YHWH the_god_of your(pl)_ancestors_of_of and_bring_out DOM the_impurity from the_holy_place.
6 If/because fathers_of_our they_acted_unfaithfully and_they_did the_evil in/on_both_eyes_of YHWH god_of_our and_they_abandoned_him and_they_turned faces_of_their away_from_the_tabernacle_of YHWH and_they_gave a_neck.
7 Also they_shut the_doors_of the_porch and_they_extinguished DOM the_lamps and_incense not they_made_smoke and_burnt_offering[s] not they_offered_up in_place to_the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
8 And_he/it_was the_severe_anger_of YHWH towards Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_he_has_made_them mmm[fn] into_a_horror and_into_a_hissing just_as you(pl) are_seeing with_your_two’s_own_of_eyes.
9 And_see/lo/see they_have_fallen fathers_of_our by_sword and_our_of_sons and_our_of_daughters and_our_of_wives are_in_captivity on this.
10 Now is_with heart_of_my to_make a_covenant to/for_YHWH the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_it_will_turn_back from_him/it the_burning_of his_anger_of_of.
11 My_sons_of_Oh now do_not be_negligent if/because (in)_you(pl) he_has_chosen YHWH to_stand before_him to_serve_him and_to_be to_him/it servants and_makers_of_smoke.
12 and_they_arose the_Lēviyyiy Maḩat the_son_of ˊAmāsāʼi and_Yōʼēl/(Joel) the_son_of ˊAzaryāh of the_descendants_of the_Qəhātite[s] and_from the_descendants_of Mərārī Qīsh the_son_of ˊAⱱdiy and_ˊAzaryāh the_son_of Yəhallelʼēl/(Jehallelel) and_from the_Gershonite[s] Yōʼāḩ/(Joah) the_son_of Zimmāh and_ˊĒden the_son_of Yōʼāḩ.
13 And_from the_descendants_of ʼElīʦāfān Shimrī and_Yəˊīʼēl/(Jeiel)[fn] and_from the_descendants_of ʼĀşāf Zəkaryāh and_Mattanyāh.
14 and_from the_descendants_of Hēymān Yəḩīʼēl/(Yəˊīʼēl/(Jehiel))[fn] and_Shimˊī and_from the_descendants_of Yədūtūn/(Jeduthun) Shəmaˊyāh and_ˊUzziyʼēl.

16 And_they_came the_priests to_within the_house_of YHWH to_cleanse_ and_they_brought_out DOM all_of the_uncleanness which they_found in_(the)_palace of_YHWH to_the_courtyard_of the_house_of YHWH and_they_took_ the_Lēviyyiy to_bring__out to_the_wadi_of Qidrōn outside_to_the.
17 And_they_began on_day_one of_month (the)_first to_consecrate and_on_day_of eight of_month they_came to_the_porch_of YHWH and_they_consecrated DOM the_house_of YHWH for_days eight and_on_day_of six- teen of_month (the)_first they_finished.
18 and_they_went within to Ḩizqiyyāh the_king and_they_said we_have_cleansed DOM all_of the_house_of YHWH DOM the_altar_of the_burnt_offering and_DOM all_of utensils_of_its and_DOM the_table_of the_row and_DOM all_of utensils_of_its.
19 And_DOM all_of the_vessels which he_had_rejected the_king ʼĀḩāz in_his_of_reign in_his_of_unfaithfulness we_have_prepared and_we_have_consecrated and_there_they to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_altar_of YHWH.
20 and_ Ḩizqiyyāh _he_rose_early the_king and_he_gathered DOM the_officials_of the_city and_he/it_ascended the_house_of YHWH.
21 And_they_brought young_bulls seven and_rams seven and_lambs seven and_he-goats_of goats seven to_a_sin_offering on the_kingdom and_on the_sanctuary and_on Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_he/it_said to_the_descendants_of ʼAhₐron the_priests to_offer_up on the_altar_of YHWH.
22 And_they_slaughtered the_cattle and_they_took the_priests DOM the_blood and_they_sprinkled_ to_the_altar and_they_slaughtered the_rams and_they_sprinkled the_blood to_the_altar and_they_slaughtered the_lambs and_they_sprinkled the_blood to_the_altar.
23 And_they_brought_near DOM the_goats_of the_sin_offering to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_king and_the_assembly and_they_laid hands_of_their on_them.
24 And_they_slaughtered_them the_priests and_they_made_a_sin_offering DOM blood_of_their to_the_altar to_make_atonement on all_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) if/because to/from_all/each/any/every Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) he_had_said the_king the_burnt_offering and_the_sin_offering.
25 And_he_stationed DOM the_Lēviyyiy the_house_of YHWH with_cymbals with_lyres and_with_harps by_the_command_of Dāvid and_Gād the_seer_of the_king and_Nathan the_prophet if/because was_by_the_hand_of YHWH the_command by_the_hand_of his_prophets_of_of.
26 and_they_stood the_Lēviyyiy with_the_instruments_of Dāvid and_the_priests with_trumpets.
27 and_ Ḩizqiyyāh _he/it_said to_offer_up the_burnt_offering to_the_altar and_at_the_time when_it_began the_burnt_offering it_began the_song_of YHWH and_the_trumpets and_on the_hands_of the_instruments_of Dāvid the_king_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
28 And_all the_assembly were_bowing_down and_the_song was_singing and_the_trumpets were_blowing_a_trumpet[fn][fn] (the)_everything was_until (to)_was_complete the_burnt_offering.
29 And_just_as_finished to_offer_up they_bowed_down the_king and_all those_who_were_found with_him/it and_they_bowed_down.
30 And_ Ḩizqiyyāh _he/it_said the_king and_the_officials to_Lēviyyiy to_praise to/for_YHWH with_the_words/messages_of Dāvid and_ʼĀşāf the_seer and_they_praised to to_joy and_they_bowed_low and_they_bowed_down.
31 and_ Ḩizqiyyāh _he_answered and_he/it_said now you(pl)_have_filled hand_of_your(pl) to/for_YHWH draw_near and_bring sacrifices and_thank-offerings to_the_house_of YHWH and_they_brought the_assembly sacrifices and_thank-offerings and_all _willing_of heart burnt_offerings.
32 And_he/it_was the_number_of the_burnt_offering[s] which they_brought the_assembly cattle seventy rams one_hundred lambs two_hundred were_for_a_burnt_offering to/for_YHWH all_of these.
33 And_the_holy_offerings were_cattle six hundred(s) and_sheep three_of thousand(s).
34 Only the_priests they_were to_fewness and_not they_were_able to_skin DOM all_of the_burnt_offerings and_they_helped_them relatives_of_their the_Lēviyyiy until was_complete the_work and_unto they_had_consecrated_themselves the_priests if/because the_Lēviyyiy were_upright_of heart to_consecrate_themselves more_than_the_priests.
35 And_also burnt_offering[s] to_increase_in_number with_the_fat(s)_of the_peace_offerings and_with_offerings of_offering and_ the_service_of _it_was_arranged of_the_house_of of_YHWH.
36 And_ Ḩizqiyyāh _he_rejoiced and_all the_people on that_which_he_had_prepared the_ʼElohīm for_people if/because in_suddenness it_had_happened the_thing.
30 and_ Ḩizqiyyāh _he_sent to all_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_Yəhūdāh/(Yihudah) and_also letters he_wrote to ʼEfrayim and_Mənashsheh to_come to_the_house_of YHWH in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) for_doing a_passover to/for_YHWH the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
2 And_he_had_taken_counsel the_king and_his_of_officials and_all the_assembly in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) for_doing the_passover in_month the_second.
3 If/because not they_had_been_able to_observe_it at_time (the)_that if/because the_priests not they_had_consecrated_themselves to_what_was sufficiency[fn] and_the_people not they_had_gathered[fn] to_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
4 And_it_was_pleasing the_thing in/on_both_eyes_of the_king and_in_the_eyes_of all_of the_assembly.
5 And_they_appointed a_message to_cause_to_pass a_proclamation in_all Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) from seven and_unto Dān to_come for_doing a_passover to/for_YHWH the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) if/because not to_increase_in_number they_had_done according_what_is_written.
6 And_they_went the_runners with_letters from_the_hand_of the_king and_his_of_officials in_all Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_Yəhūdāh/(Yihudah) and_according_to_the_command_of the_king to_say Oh_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) return[fn] to YHWH the_god_of ʼAⱱrāhām Yiʦḩāq/(Isaac) and_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) so_that_he_may_return to the_escaped_remnant which_remains to/for_you(pl) from_the_palm_of the_kings_of ʼAshshūr.
7 And_do_not be like_your(pl)_of_fathers and_like_your(pl)_of_brothers who they_acted_unfaithfully against_YHWH the_god_of their_ancestors_of_of and_he_made_them into_a_horror just_as you(pl) are_seeing.
8 Now do_not stiffen neck_of_your(pl) like_your(pl)_of_fathers give a_hand to/for_YHWH and_come to_his_of_sanctuary which he_has_consecrated forever and_serve DOM YHWH god_of_your(pl) so_that_it_may_turn_back from_you(pl) the_burning_of his_anger_of_of.
9 If/because when_you_return to YHWH relatives_of_your(pl) and_your(pl)_of_children will_be_to_compassion(s) to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before their_of_captors and_to_return to_land (the)_this if/because is_gracious and_compassionate YHWH god_of_your(pl) and_not he_will_turn_aside face from_you(pl) if you(pl)_will_turn_back to_him/it.
10 and_they_were the_runners passing from_city to_city in_land_of ʼEfrayim and_Mənashsheh and_unto Zəⱱūlūn and_they_were laughing on_them and_mocking (in)_them.
11 Nevertheless men from_ʼĀshēr and_Mənashsheh and_from_Zəⱱūlūn they_humbled_themselves and_they_came to_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
12 Also on_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) it_was the_hand_of the_ʼElohīm to_give to/for_them a_heart one for_ the_command_of _doing the_king and_the_officials by_the_message_of YHWH.
13 And_they_gathered Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) a_people numerous for_doing DOM the_festival_of the_unleavened_bread(s) in_month the_second an_assembly to_increase_in_number exceedingly.
14 And_they_arose and_they_removed DOM the_altars which were_in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_DOM all_of the_incense_altars they_removed and_they_threw_them to_the_wadi_of Qidrōn.
15 And_they_slaughtered the_passover on_day_four- teen of_month the_second and_the_priests and_the_Lēviyyiy they_were_ashamed and_they_consecrated_themselves and_they_brought burnt_offerings the_house_of YHWH.
16 And_they_stood at place_of_their according_to_of_their_custom according_to_the_law_of Mosheh the_man_of the_ʼElohīm the_priests were_sprinkling DOM the_blood from_the_hand_of the_Lēviyyiy.
17 If/because many_of among_assembly who not they_had_consecrated_themselves and_the_Lēviyyiy were_over the_slaughter_of the_passovers to_all/each/any/every not clean to_consecrate_them to/for_YHWH.
18 If/because the_greater_part_of the_people many_of from_ʼEfrayim and_Mənashsheh Issachar and_Zəⱱūlūn not they_had_purified_themselves if/because they_ate DOM the_passover with_not according_what_is_written if/because Ḩizqiyyāh he_had_prayed on_them to_ YHWH _say (the)_good may_he_make_atonement for.
19 Every_of who_his_heart_of_ he_has_directed to_seek the_ʼElohīm YHWH the_god_of his_ancestors_of_of and_not according_to_the_purification_of the_holy_place.
20 and_ YHWH _he/it_listened to Ḩizqiyyāh and_he_healed DOM the_people.
21 and_ the_people_of _they_made of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) who_were_found in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) DOM the_festival_of the_unleavened_bread(s) seven_of days with_joy great and_they_were_praising to/for_YHWH a_day in/on_day the_Lēviyyiy and_the_priests with_instruments_of strength to/for_YHWH.
22 and_ Ḩizqiyyāh _he/it_spoke to the_heart_of all_of the_Lēviyyiy who_ understanding_of _were_understanding good to/for_YHWH and_they_ate DOM the_appointed_feast the_seven_of the_days sacrificing sacrifices_of peace_offerings and_giving_thanks to/for_YHWH the_god_of their_ancestors_of_of.
23 and_ all_of _they_took_counsel the_assembly for_doing seven_of days another and_they_observed seven_of days joy.
24 If/because Ḩizqiyyāh the_king_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) he_contributed for_assembly one_thousand young_bulls and_seven_of thousand(s) sheep and_the_officials they_contributed for_assembly young_bulls one_thousand and_sheep ten_of thousand(s) and_ priests _they_consecrated_themselves to_increase_in_number.
25 And_they_rejoiced all_of the_assembly_of Yəhūdāh and_the_priests and_the_Lēviyyiy and_all the_assembly the_(ones_who)_went from_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_the_sojourners the_(ones_who)_went from_the_land_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_who_were_dwelling in_Yəhūdāh.
26 And_it_became joy great in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) if/because since_the_days_of Shəlomoh/(Solomon) the_son_of Dāvid the_king_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) not like_this in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
27 and_they_arose the_priests the_Lēviyyiy and_they_blessed DOM the_people and_it_was_listened to_their_of_voice prayer_of_their and_it_came to_the_dwelling_of his_holiness_of_of to_heavens.
31 and_just_as_ all_of _finished this all_of they_went_out Yisrāʼēl/(Israel)[fn] who_were_found to_the_cities_of Yəhūdāh and_they_broke the_sacred_pillars and_they_cut_down the_ʼAshērāh_poles and_they_pulled_down DOM the_high_places and_DOM the_altars from_all Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_Binyāmīn and_in_ʼEfrayim and_Mənashsheh until (to)_finished and_ all_of _they_returned the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) each to_his_of_possession to_their_of_cities.
2 and_ Ḩizqiyyāh _he_appointed DOM the_divisions_of the_priests and_the_Lēviyyiy on divisions_of_their each according_to_the_mouth_of his_service_of_of to_priests and_to_Lēviyyiy for_burnt_offering and_for_peace_offerings to_serve and_to_give_thanks and_to_praise in_the_gates_of the_camps_of YHWH.
3 and_the_portion_of the_king from property_of_his_own was_for_offerings for_the_burnt_offerings_of the_morning and_the_evening and_the_burnt_offerings for_sabbaths and_for_moons and_for_feasts according_what_is_written in_the_law_of YHWH.
4 And_he/it_said to_people to_the_inhabitants_of Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) to_give the_portion_of the_priests and_the_Lēviyyiy so_that they_may_be_strong in_the_law_of YHWH.
5 And_just_as_spread the_message they_multiplied the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) the_first_of grain new_wine and_fresh_oil and_honey and_all/each/any/every produce_of the_field and_the_tithe_of (the)_everything to_increase_in_number they_brought.
6 And_the_sons of_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_Yəhūdāh/(Yihudah) who_were_dwelling in_the_cities_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) also they a_tithe_of herd[s] and_flock[s] and_a_tithe_of holy_things which_had_been_consecrated to/for_YHWH god_of_their they_brought and_they_made heaps heaps.
7 in_month (the)_third they_began the_heaps to_found and_in_month the_seventh they_finished.
8 and_ Ḩizqiyyāh _they_came and_the_officials and_they_saw DOM the_heaps and_they_blessed DOM YHWH and_DOM people_of_his Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
9 and_ Ḩizqiyyāh _he_enquired to the_priests and_the_Lēviyyiy on the_heaps.
10 And_he/it_said to_him/it ˊAzaryāh the_priest/officer the_head of_the_house_of of_Tsādōq/(Zadok) and_he/it_said from_when_began the_contribution to_bring the_house_of YHWH we_have_eaten and_we_have_been_satisfied and_we_have_had_more_than_enough to to_abundance if/because YHWH he_has_blessed DOM people_of_his and_(the)_is_that_which_remains DOM the_abundance (the)_this.
11 and_ Ḩizqiyyāh _he/it_said to_ rooms _prepare in_house_of YHWH and_they_prepared_them.
12 And_they_brought DOM the_contribution and_the_tithe and_the_holy_things in_faithfulness and_was_over_them an_officer Kōnanyāhū[fn][fn] the_Lēviyyiy and_Shimˊī brother_of_his was_second_in_command.
13 And_Yəḩīʼēl/(Yəˊīʼēl/(Jehiel)) and_ˊAzazyāhū and_Naḩat and_ˊAsāhʼēl and_Yərīmōt/(Jerimoth) and_Yōzāⱱād/(Jozabad) and_ʼElīʼēl and_Yişmakyāhū/(Ismachiah) and_Maḩat and_Bənāyāh were_overseers from_the_hand_of Kōnanyāhū[fn] and_Shimˊī his/its_woman by_the_appointment_of Ḩizqiyyāh the_king and_ˊAzaryāh the_ruler_of the_house_of the_ʼElohīm.
14 And_Qōrēʼ the_son_of Yimnāh/(Imnah) the_Lēviyyiy the_gatekeeper to_east was_over the_freewill_offerings_of the_ʼElohīm to_distribute the_contribution_of YHWH and_the_holy_things_of the_holy_things.
15 And_were_on his/its_hand ˊĒden and_Minyāmīn and_Yēshūˊa/(Jeshua) and_Shəmaˊyāh ʼAmaryāh and_Shəkanyāh in_the_cities_of the_priests in_faithfulness to_distribute to_their_of_brothers by_divisions as_great as_small.
16 (from)_besides_of their_genealogical_enrolment to_males from_a_son_of three years and_(to)_upwards to/from_all/each/any/every (the)_one_who_went to_the_house_of YHWH for_the_matter_of a_day in_its_day for_their_of_service by_their_of_duties according_to_of_their_divisions.
17 And_DOM the_genealogical_enrolment of_the_priests to_the_house_of their_ancestors_of_of and_the_Lēviyyiy from_a_son_of twenty year[s] and_(to)_upwards by_their_of_duties by_their_of_divisions.
18 And_to_genealogical_enrolment in_all one[s]_of_their_little wives_of_their and_their_of_sons and_their_of_daughters to/from_all/each/any/every the_assembly if/because in_their_of_faithfulness they_had_consecrated_themselves holiness.
19 And_to_the_descendants_of ʼAhₐron the_priests in_the_fields_of the_pasture_land_of their_cities_of_of in_all city and_a_city men who they_had_been_designated by_names to_distribute portions to/from_all/each/any/every male among_priests and_to/for_all the_genealogical_enrolment among.
20 And_he/it_made like_this Ḩizqiyyāh in_all Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_he/it_made the_good and_the_right and_(the)_faithfulness to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before YHWH his/its_god.
21 And_on/over_all work which he_began in_the_service_of the_house_of the_ʼElohīm and_in_law and_in_command to_seek (to)_his_of_god in_all heart_of_his he_did_ and_he_succeeded.
32 after the_matters and_the_faithfulness the_these Şanḩērīⱱ he_came the_king_of ʼAshshūr and_he_came in_Yəhūdāh and_he_encamped on the_cities (the)_fortified and_he/it_said to_break_into_them to_him/it.
2 And_ Ḩizqiyyāh _he/it_saw if/because_that Şanḩērīⱱ he_had_come and_his_of_face was_for_war on Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
3 And_he_took_counsel with officials_of_his and_his_mighty_of_ to_stop_up DOM the_waters_of the_springs which were_from_the_outside of_city and_they_helped_him.
4 And_ people _they_assembled numerous and_they_stopped_up DOM all_of the_springs and_DOM the_wadi which_flowed in_the_middle the_earth/land to_say to/for_what will_they_come the_kings_of ʼAshshūr and_they_will_find waters many.
5 And_he_strengthened_himself and_he/it_built DOM all_of the_city_wall which_was_broken_down and_he/it_ascended on the_towers and_to_outside the_city_wall another and_he_strengthened DOM the_Millōʼ the_city_of Dāvid and_he/it_made weapon[s] to_increase_in_number and_shields.
6 And_he/it_gave commanders_of wars over the_people and_he_assembled_them to_him/it to the_open_place_of the_gate_of the_city and_he/it_spoke to heart_of_their to_say.
7 Be_strong and_be_courageous do_not be_afraid and_do_not be_dismayed from_face/in_front_of the_king_of ʼAshshūr and_from_before_of all_of the_multitude which with_him/it if/because is_with_us _great more_than_with_him.
8 With_him/it an_arm_of flesh and_is_with_us YHWH god_of_our to_help_us and_to_fight battles_of_our and_they_supported_themselves the_people on the_words/messages_of Ḩizqiyyāh the_king_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah).
9 after this Şanḩērīⱱ he_sent the_king_of ʼAshshūr servants_of_his to_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_he was_at Lākīsh and_all might_of_his_imperial with_him/it to Ḩizqiyyāh the_king_of Yəhūdāh and_to all_of Yəhūdāh which was_in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) to_say.
10 Thus Şanḩērīⱱ he_says the_king_of ʼAshshūr on what are_you(pl) relying and_remaining in_siege in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
11 Not is_Ḩizqiyyāh misleading you(pl) to_give you(pl) to_die by_hunger and_by_thirst to_say YHWH god_of_our he_will_deliver_us from_the_palm_of the_king_of ʼAshshūr.
12 Not that Ḩizqiyyāh did_he_remove DOM places_of_his_high and_DOM altars_of_his and_he/it_said to_Yəhūdāh and_to_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) to_say to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before an_altar one you(pl)_will_bow_down and_on_it you(pl)_will_make_smoke.
13 Not do_you(pl)_know what have_I_done I and_my_of_fathers to_all/each/any/every the_peoples_of the_lands ever_(able) were_they_able the_gods_of the_nations_of the_lands to_deliver DOM land_of_their from_my_of_hand.
14 Who in_all the_gods_of the_nations the_these which they_totally_destroyed fathers_of_my is_one_which it_was_able to_deliver DOM people_of_its from_my_of_hand (cmp) god_of_your(pl) he_will_be_able to_deliver you(pl) from_my_of_hand.
15 And_now not Ḩizqiyyāh let_him_deceive you(pl) and_not let_him_mislead you(pl) like_this and_do_not believe to_him/it if/because not any_of it_has_been_able god of_any_of nation and_kingdom people_of_its to_deliver from_my_of_hand and_from_the_hand_of my_fathers_of_of indeed if/because gods_of_your(pl) not they_will_deliver you(pl) from_my_of_hand.
16 And_again servants_of_his they_spoke on YHWH the_ʼElohīm and_on Ḩizqiyyāh servant_of_his.
17 And_letters he_wrote to_taunt to/for_YHWH the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_to_say on/upon/above_him/it to_say like_the_gods_of the_nations_of the_lands which not people_of_their they_delivered from_my_of_hand so not the_god_of he_will_deliver of_Ḩizqiyyāh people_of_his from_my_of_hand.
18 And_they_called_out with_a_voice great Yəhūdī/(Judean) to the_people_of Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) which was_on the_wall to_make_them_afraid and_to_terrify_them so_that they_may_capture DOM the_city.
19 And_they_spoke concerning the_god_of Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) as_on the_gods_of the_peoples_of the_earth/land the_work_of the_hands_of the_humankind.
20 and_ Ḩizqiyyāh _he_prayed the_king and_Yəshaˊyāh/(Isaiah) the_son_of ʼĀmōʦ the_prophet on this and_they_cried_out the_heavens.
21 and_ YHWH _he_sent an_messenger and_he_annihilated every_of mighty_man_of strength and_officer and_commander in_the_camp_of the_king_of ʼAshshūr and_he_returned with_shame_of face to_his_own_of_land and_he_came the_house_of his/its_god and_some_of_the_offspring(s)_of[fn] his_lower_parts_of_of there they_made_him_fall by_sword.
22 And_ YHWH _he_saved DOM Ḩizqiyyāh and_DOM of_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) the_inhabitants_of from_the_hand_of Şanḩērīⱱ the_king_of ʼAshshūr and_from_the_hand_of everyone and_he_led_them from_round_about.
23 And_many_ were_bringing an_offering to/for_YHWH to_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_excellent_gifts to_Ḩizqiyyāh the_king_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_he_was_lifted_up to_the_eyes_of all_of the_nations from_after thus.
24 in_the_days the_those Ḩizqiyyāh he_became_sick until to_die and_he_prayed to YHWH and_he/it_said to_him/it and_a_sign he_gave to_him/it.
25 And_not according_to_the_benefit on/upon/above_him/it Ḩizqiyyāh he_repaid if/because his/its_heart it_was_haughty and_he/it_was on/upon/above_him/it severe_anger and_towards Yəhūdāh and_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
26 And_he_humbled_himself Ḩizqiyyāh in_the_haughtiness_of his/its_heart he and_the_inhabitants_of Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_not it_came towards_them the_severe_anger_of YHWH in_the_days_of Ḩizqiyyāh.
27 And_he/it_was to_Ḩizqiyyāh wealth and_honour great exceedingly and_treasuries he_made to_him/it for_silver and_for_gold and_for_stone[s] precious and_for_spices and_for_shields and_to/for_all articles_of preciousness.
28 And_storehouses for_the_yield_of grain and_new_wine and_fresh_oil and_stalls to/from_all/each/any/every livestock and_livestock and_flocks for_stalls.

30 And_he Ḩizqiyyāh he_stopped_up DOM the_outlet_of the_waters_of Giyḩōn (the)_upper and_he_directed_them (to)_downwards westward of_the_city_of of_Dāvid and_ Ḩizqiyyāh _he_prospered in_all deed_of_his.
31 And_thus/so/as_follows in_the_envoys_of the_officials_of Bāⱱel who_sent on/upon/above_him/it to_enquire the_sign which it_had_happened in/on_the_earth he_left_him the_ʼElohīm to_put_him_to_the_test to_know everything_of in_his_of_heart.
32 And_the_rest_of the_matters_of Ḩizqiyyāh and_his_covenant_of_loyalti(es) there_they are_written in_the_vision_of Yəshaˊyāh/(Isaiah) the_son_of ʼĀmōʦ the_prophet on the_scroll_of the_kings_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
33 And_ Ḩizqiyyāh _he_lay_down with ancestors_of_his and_people_buried_him at_the_ascent_of the_graves_of the_descendants_of Dāvid and_honour they_did to_him/it at_his_of_death all_of Yəhūdāh and_the_inhabitants_of Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_ Mənashsheh _he_became_king son_of_his in_place_of_him.
33 was_a_son_of two_plus ten year[s] Mənashsheh when_he_became_king and_fifty and_five year[s] he_reigned in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
2 And_he/it_made the_evil in/on_both_eyes_of YHWH according_to_the_abominations_of the_nations which he_had_dispossessed YHWH from_face/in_front_of the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
3 And_he_returned and_he/it_built DOM the_high_places which he_had_pulled_down Ḩizqiyyāh his/its_father and_he_set_up altars to_Baˊal and_he/it_made ʼAshērāh_poles and_he_bowed_down to/from_all/each/any/every the_host_of the_heavens and_he_served DOM_them.
4 And_he_built altars in_house_of YHWH which he_had_said YHWH in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) it_will_be name_of_my forever.
5 And_he/it_built altars to/from_all/each/any/every the_host_of the_heavens in_the_two_of the_courtyards_of the_house_of YHWH.
6 And_he he_made_pass DOM sons_of_his in_fire in son_of Hinnom and_he_practiced_soothsaying and_he_practiced_divination and_he_practiced_sorcery and_he_dealt_with necromancer and_soothsayer he_increased for_doing (the)_evil in/on_both_eyes_of YHWH to_provoke_him_to_anger.
7 And_he/it_assigned DOM the_image_of (the)_image which he_had_made in_house_of the_ʼElohīm which he_had_said god to Dāvid and_near/to Shəlomoh/(Solomon) son_of_his in_house the_this and_in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) which I_have_chosen from_all the_tribes_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) I_will_put DOM name_of_my forever.
8 And_not I_will_repeat to_remove DOM the_foot_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) from_under the_soil which I_appointed for_your(pl)_of_ancestors only if they_will_take_care for_doing DOM all_of that I_commanded_them to/from_all/each/any/every the_law and_the_regulations and_the_judgements by_the_hand_of Mosheh.
9 And_ Mənashsheh _he_misled DOM Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_ of_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) _the_inhabitants_of for_doing evil more_than the_nations which YHWH he_had_destroyed from_face/in_front_of the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
10 and_ YHWH _he/it_spoke to Mənashsheh and_near/to people_of_his and_not they_paid_attention.
11 And_ YHWH _he/it_brought on_them DOM the_commanders_of the_army which belonged_to_the_king_of ʼAshshūr and_they_captured DOM Mənashsheh with_thorns and_they_bound_him with_(the)_fetters and_they_brought_him to_Bāⱱel.
12 And_just_as_harassed to_him/it he_entreated DOM the_face_of YHWH his/its_god and_he_humbled_himself exceedingly from_to/for_face/front/presence the_god_of his_ancestors_of_of.
13 And_he_prayed to_him/it and_he_was_entreated to_him/it and_he/it_listened supplication_of_his and_he_brought_him_back Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) to_his_of_kingdom and_ Mənashsheh _he/it_knew if/because_that YHWH he the_ʼElohīm.
14 And_after thus he_rebuilt the_wall outer of_the_city_of of_Dāvid westward of_Giyḩōn in_wadi and_to_go in_the_gate_of the_fish(es) and_he_went_around (to)_ˊOfel and_he_made_it_high very and_he/it_assigned commanders_of the_army in_all the_cities (the)_fortified in_Yəhūdāh/(Judah).
15 And_he_removed DOM the_gods_of (the)_foreignness and_DOM the_image from_the_house_of YHWH and_all the_altars which he_had_built on_the_mountain_of the_house_of YHWH and_in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_he_threw_them outside_to_the of_city.
16 And_he_rebuilt[fn] DOM the_altar_of YHWH and_he/it_sacrificed on/upon/above_him/it sacrifices_of peace_offering(s) and_thanksgiving and_he/it_said to_Yəhūdāh to_serve DOM YHWH the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
17 But still the_people were_sacrificing at_places only to/for_YHWH god_of_their.
18 And_the_rest_of the_matters_of Mənashsheh and_his_of_prayer to his/its_god and_the_words/messages_of the_seers who_spoke to_him/it in/on_name_of YHWH the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) there_they are_on the_matters_of the_kings_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
19 And_his_of_prayer and_being_entreated to_him/it and_all sin_of_his and_his_of_unfaithfulness and_the_places which he_built in/among_them high_places and_he_set_up the_ʼAshērāh_poles and_the_idols to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before he_humbled_himself there_they are_written on the_words/messages_of Ḩōzay.
20 And_ Mənashsheh _he_lay_down with ancestors_of_his and_people_buried_him house_of_his and_ ʼĀmōn _he_became_king his/its_son in_place_of_him.
21 was_a_son_of twenty and_two year[s] ʼĀmōn when_he_became_king and_two years he_reigned in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
22 And_he/it_made (the)_evil in/on_both_eyes_of YHWH just_as he_had_done Mənashsheh his/its_father and_to/for_all the_idols which Mənashsheh he_had_made his/its_father ʼĀmōn he_sacrificed and_he_served_them.
23 And_not he_humbled_himself from_to/for_face/front/presence YHWH as_had_humbled_himself Mənashsheh his/its_father if/because that ʼĀmōn he_increased guilt.
24 And_they_conspired on/upon/above_him/it servants_of_his and_they_killed_him in_his_own_of_house.
25 And_ the_people_of _they_struck_down the_earth/land DOM all_of those_who_had_conspired on the_king ʼĀmōn and_ the_people_of _they_made_king the_earth/land DOM Yʼoshiyyāh/(Josiah) son_of_his in_place_of_him.
34 was_a_son_of eight years Yʼoshiyyāh when_he_became_king and_thirty and_one year[s] he_reigned in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
2 And_he/it_made the_right in/on_both_eyes_of YHWH and_he/it_went in_the_ways_of Dāvid his/its_father and_not he_turned_aside right_hand and_left_hand.
3 And_in_eight years of_his_reigning and_he still_he was_a_youth he_began to_seek (to)_the_god_of Dāvid his/its_father and_in_two_plus ten year he_began to_cleanse DOM Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) from the_high_places and_the_ʼAshērāh_poles and_the_idols and_the_molten_images.
4 And_people_pulled_down before_him DOM the_altars_of the_Baˊal and_the_incense_altars which were_(to)_upwards (from)_above_them he_cut_down and_the_ʼAshērāh_poles and_the_idols and_the_molten_images he_broke_in_pieces and_he_pulverised_them and_he_sprinkled_them on the_surface_of the_graves which_had_sacrificed to/for_them.
5 And_the_bones_of priests he_burnt on wwww[fn] and_he_cleansed DOM Yəhūdāh and_DOM Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
6 And_in_the_cities_of Mənashsheh and_ʼEfrayim and_Shimˊōn and_unto Naftālī in/on/at/with with_their_of[fn] all_around.
7 And_he_pulled_down DOM the_altars and_DOM the_ʼAshērāh_poles and_the_idols he_crushed to_pulverize and_all the_incense_altars he_cut_down in_all the_land_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_he_returned to_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
8 and_in_year_of eight- teen of_his_reigning to_cleanse the_earth/land and_the_house he_sent DOM Shāfān the_son_of ʼAʦalyāhū and_DOM Maˊₐsēyāh the_official_of the_city and_DOM Yōʼāḩ/(Joah) the_son_of Yōʼāḩaz the_recorder to_repair DOM the_house_of YHWH his/its_god.
9 And_they_came to Ḩilqiyyāh the_priest/officer (the)_great and_they_gave DOM the_money which_had_been_brought the_house_of god which they_had_gathered the_Lēviyyiy who_kept_of (of)_the_threshold from_the_hand_of Mənashsheh and_ʼEfrayim and_from_all the_remnant_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_from_all_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_Binyāmīn and_they_returned[fn] of_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
10 And_they_gave_ on the_hand_of the_doer[s]_of the_work who_had_been_appointed in_house_of YHWH and_they_gave DOM_him/it the_doers_of the_work who were_working in_house_of YHWH to_mend and_to_repair the_house.
11 And_they_gave_ to_craftsmen and_to_builders to_acquire stones_of hewing and_wood(s) for_clamps and_to_make_beams_for DOM the_houses which they_had_ruined the_kings_of Yəhūdāh.
12 And_the_men were_working in_faithfulness in_work and_over_them Yaḩat/(Jahath) were_appointed and_ˊOⱱadyāh the_Lēviyyiy of the_descendants_of Mərārī and_Zəkaryāh and_Məshullām of the_descendants_of the_Qəhātites to_act_as_overseers and_the_Lēviyyiy every_of one_who_was_skilled in_instruments_of song.
13 (and)_were_over the_burden-bearers and_were_acting_as_overseers to_all/each/any/every doer_of work for_labour and_labour and_some_of_the_Lēviyyiy were_scribes and_officials and_gatekeepers.
14 And_when_they_brought_out DOM the_money which_ the_house_of _had_been_brought of_YHWH Ḩilqiyyāh he_found the_priest/officer DOM the_scroll_of the_law_of YHWH by_the_hand_of Mosheh.
15 And_ Ḩilqiyyāh _he_answered and_he/it_said to Shāfān the_scribe the_scroll_of the_law I_have_found in_house_of YHWH and_ Ḩilqiyyāh _he/it_gave DOM the_scroll to Shāfān.
16 And_ Shāfān _he/it_brought DOM the_scroll to the_king and_he_brought_back again DOM the_king message to_say all that it_was_given in_the_hand_of your_servants they are_doing.
17 And_they_have_poured_out DOM the_money which_was_found in_house_of YHWH and_they_have_given_it on the_hand_of those_who_had_been_appointed and_on the_hand_of the_doers_of the_work.
18 And_ Shāfān _he_told the_scribe to/for_the_king to_ a_scroll _say he_has_given to_me Ḩilqiyyāh the_priest/officer and_he/it_called in_him/it Shāfān to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_king.
19 And_he/it_was just_as_heard the_king DOM the_words/messages_of the_law and_he_tore DOM clothes_of_his.
20 And_he/it_commanded the_king DOM Ḩilqiyyāh and_DOM ʼAḩīqām the_son_of Shāfān and_DOM ˊAⱱdōn the_son_of Mīkāh and_DOM Shāfān the_scribe and_DOM ˊAsāyāh the_servant_of the_king to_say.
21 Go consult DOM YHWH for_me and_for the_one_who_remains among_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_among_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) on the_words/messages_of the_scroll which it_has_been_found if/because is_great the_rage_of YHWH which it_has_been_poured_out on_us on that not they_kept ancestors_of_our DOM the_message_of YHWH for_doing according_to_every_of (the)__written on the_scroll (the)_this.
22 and_ Ḩilqiyyāh _he/it_went and_which the_king to Ḩuldāh the_prophetess the_wife_of Shallūm the_son_of Tōqahat[fn] the_son_of Ḩaşrāh the_keeper_of the_garments and_she was_dwelling in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) in_district and_they_spoke to_her/it like_this.
23 and_she/it_said to/for_them thus YHWH he_says the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) say to_man who he_sent you(pl) to_me.
24 thus YHWH he_says here_I am_about_to_bring calamity on the_place the_this and_on its_of_inhabitants DOM all_of the_curses which_are_written on the_scroll which people_have_read_aloud to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before the_king_of Yəhūdāh.
25 Because that they_have_abandoned_me and_they_have_made_smoke[fn][fn] to_gods other so_as to_provoke_me_to_anger by_all_of the_works_of their_hands_of_of and_it_will_pour_forth rage_of_my on_place the_this and_not it_will_be_quenched.
26 And_near/to the_king_of Yəhūdāh/(Judah) who_sent you(pl) to_consult (in)_YHWH thus you(pl)_will_say to_him/it thus YHWH he_says the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) the_words/messages which you_have_heard.
27 Because it_was_soft heart_of_your and_you_humbled_yourself from_to/for_face/front/presence god when_you_heard DOM words/messages_of_his on the_place the_this and_on its_of_inhabitants and_you_humbled_yourself to/for_my_face/front and_you_tore DOM clothes_of_your and_you_wept before_me and_also I I_have_heard the_utterance_of YHWH.
28 Here_I will_gather_of_you to ancestors_of_your and_you_will_be_gathered to grave(s)_of_your in_peace and_not eyes_of_your they_will_look on_all_of the_distress which I will_bring on the_place the_this and_on its_of_inhabitants and_they_brought_back DOM the_king message.
29 and_he_sent the_king and_he_gathered DOM all_of the_elders_of Yəhūdāh and_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
30 And_he/it_ascended the_king the_house_of YHWH and_all (the)_person_of Yəhūdāh and_the_inhabitants_of Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_the_priests and_the_Lēviyyiy and_all the_people from_the_great and_unto the_small and_he/it_called in_their_of_ears DOM all_of the_words/messages_of the_scroll_of the_covenant which_had_been_found the_house_of YHWH.
31 And_he_stood the_king at place_of_his and_he_made DOM the_covenant to_(the)_face_of/in_front_of/before YHWH to_go after YHWH and_to_keep DOM commands_of_his and_his_of_testimonies and_his_of_regulations in_all heart_of_his and_on/over_all being_of_his for_doing DOM the_words/messages_of the_covenant which_were_written on the_scroll (the)_this.
32 And_he_made_stand DOM every_of (the)_one_who_was_found in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_Binyāmīn and_they_did of_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) the_inhabitants_of according_to_the_covenant_of god the_god_of their_ancestors_of_of.
33 And_ Yʼoshiyyāh/(Josiah) _he_removed DOM all_of the_abominations from_all the_lands which belonged_to_the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_he_made_to_serve DOM every_of (the)_one_who_was_found in_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) to_serve DOM YHWH god_of_their all_of his/its_days not they_turned_aside from_after YHWH the_god_of their_ancestors_of_of.
35 and_ Yʼoshiyyāh _he/it_made in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) a_passover to/for_YHWH and_people_slaughtered the_passover on_day_four- teen of_month (the)_first.
2 And_he_appointed the_priests on duties_of_their and_he_encouraged_them for_the_service_of the_house_of YHWH.
3 And_he/it_said to_Lēviyyiy who_taught[fn] to/from_all/each/any/every Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) (the)_holy to/for_YHWH put DOM the_box_of (the)_holiness in_house which he_built Shəlomoh/(Solomon) the_son_of Dāvid the_king_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) there_will_not_be to/for_you(pl) a_burden on_shoulder now serve DOM YHWH god_of_your(pl) and_DOM people_of_his Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
4 And_be_prepared[fn][fn] to_the_house_of your(pl)_ancestors_of_of according_to_of_your(pl)_divisions by_the_writing_of Dāvid the_king_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_by_the_writing_of Shəlomoh son_of_his.
5 And_stand in_place to_the_divisions_of the_house_of the_ancestors of_your(pl)_of_countrymen the_sons_of the_people and_a_division_of the_house_of an_ancestor for_Lēviyyiy.
6 And_slaughter the_passover and_consecrate_yourselves and_prepare for_your(pl)_of_countrymen for_doing according_to_the_message_of YHWH by_the_hand_of Mosheh.
7 and_ Yʼoshiyyāh/(Josiah) _he_contributed for_the_sons_of the_people flock[s] lambs and_the_sons goats (the)_everything for_passovers to/from_all/each/any/every (the)_one_who_was_found to_the_number_of thirty thousand and_cattle three_of thousand(s) these were_from_the_property_of the_king.
8 and_his_of_officials to_a_freewill_offering for_people for_priests and_for_Lēviyyiy they_contributed Ḩilqiyyāh and_Zəkaryāh and_Yəḩīʼēl/(Yəˊīʼēl/(Jehiel)) the_officers_of the_house_of the_ʼElohīm to_priests they_gave for_passovers two_thousand and_six hundred(s) and_cattle three hundred(s).
9 And_Kōnanyāhū[fn] and_Shəmaˊyāh and_Nətanʼēl brothers_of_his and_Ḩₐshaⱱyāh and_Yəˊīʼēl/(Jeiel) and_Yōzāⱱād/(Jozabad) the_leaders_of the_Lēviyyiy they_contributed for_Lēviyyiy for_passovers five_of thousand(s) and_cattle five hundred(s).
10 And_it_was_arranged the_service and_they_stood the_priests at place_of_their and_the_Lēviyyiy on divisions_of_their according_to_the_command_of the_king.
11 And_they_slaughtered the_passover and_they_sprinkled the_priests from_their_of_hand and_the_Lēviyyiy were_skinning_them.
12 And_they_put_aside the_burnt_offering[s] to_give_them to_the_divisions of_the_house_of ancestors of_the_sons_of of_the_people to_bring_near to/for_YHWH according_what_is_written in_the_scroll_of Mosheh and_thus/so/as_follows for_cattle.
13 And_they_cooked the_passover in_fire according_the_ordinance and_the_holy_offerings they_boiled in_pots and_in_(the)_pots and_in_bowls and_they_brought_them_quickly to/from_all/each/any/every the_children_of the_people.
14 And_after they_prepared to/for_them and_for_priests if/because the_priests the_descendants_of ʼAhₐron were_in_offering_up the_burnt_offering[s] and_the_fat(s) until night and_the_Lēviyyiy they_prepared to/for_them and_for_priests the_descendants_of ʼAhₐron.
15 And_the_singers the_descendants_of ʼĀşāf were_at position_of_their according_to_the_command_of Dāvid and_ʼĀşāf and_Hēymān and_Yədūtūn/(Jeduthun) the_seer_of the_king and_the_gatekeepers were_to_a_gate and_a_gate[fn] there_was_not to/for_them to_turn_aside from_under service_of_their if/because relatives_of_their the_Lēviyyiy they_prepared to/for_them.
16 And_ all_of _it_was_arranged the_service_of YHWH in_the_day (the)_that for_doing the_passover and_ burnt_offerings _to_offer_up on the_altar_of YHWH according_to_the_command_of the_king Yʼoshiyyāh/(Josiah).
17 And_they_made the_people_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) who_were_found DOM the_passover at_time (the)_that and_DOM the_festival_of the_unleavened_bread(s) seven_of days.
18 And_not a_passover it_had_been_observed like_it in_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) since_the_days_of Shəmūʼēl/(Samuel) the_prophet and_all (the)_kings_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) not they_had_observed like_passover which he_observed Yʼoshiyyāh and_the_priests and_the_Lēviyyiy and_all Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) which_was_found and_the_inhabitants_of Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
19 in_eight- teen year of_(the)_reign of_Yʼoshiyyāh it_was_observed the_passover (the)_this.
20 After all_of this when Yʼoshiyyāh he_had_prepared DOM the_house Nəkō he_went_up the_king_of Miʦrayim/(Egypt) to_do_battle at_Karkəməysh/(Carchemish) on the_Pərāt and_he/it_went_out to_meet_him Yʼoshiyyāh.
21 And_he_sent to_him/it messengers to_say what to/for_me and_to_you Oh_king_of Yəhūdāh not on_you you the_day if/because against the_house_of my_battle_of_of and_god he_has_said I_to_hurry cease to/for_yourself(m) from_god who is_with_me and_not he_will_destroy_you.
22 And_not Yʼoshiyyāh he_turned face_of_his from_him/it if/because to_fight in/on/over_him/it he_disguised_himself and_not he_listened to the_words/messages_of Nəkō from_the_mouth_of god and_he_went to_do_battle in_the_valley_of Məgiddōn.
23 And_they_shot_arrows the_archers to/for_the_king Yʼoshiyyāh/(Josiah) and_he/it_said the_king to_his_of_servants take_me_away if/because I_have_been_wounded exceedingly.
24 And_they_took_him_away servants_of_his from the_chariot and_they_made_him_ride on the_chariot_of (the)_second which to_him/it and_they_brought_him Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_he/it_died and_he_was_buried in_the_grave(s)_of his_ancestors_of_of and_all Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) were_mourning on Yʼoshiyyāh.
25 and_ Yirməyāh/(Jeremiah) _he_made_a_lament on Yʼoshiyyāh and_ all_of _they_said the_male_singers and_the_female_singers in_their_of_lamentations on Yʼoshiyyāh until the_day and_they_made_them into_a_decree on Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_there_they are_written on the_lamentations.
26 And_the_rest_of the_matters_of Yʼoshiyyāh and_his_covenant_of_loyalti(es) according_what_is_written in_the_law_of YHWH.
27 And_his_of_matters (the)_former and_(the)_latter there_they are_written on the_scroll_of the_kings_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_Yəhūdāh/(Yihudah).
36 And_ the_people_of _they_took the_earth/land DOM Yəhōʼāḩāz/(Jehoahaz) the_son_of Yʼoshiyyāh and_they_made_him_king in_place_of his/its_father in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
2 was_a_son_of three and_twenty year[s] Yəhōʼāḩāz when_he_became_king and_three months he_reigned in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
3 And_he_removed_him the_king_of Miʦrayim/(Egypt) in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_he_imposed_a_fine_on DOM the_earth/land one_hundred talent[s]_of silver and_a_talent_of gold.
4 And_ the_king_of _he_made_king of_Miʦrayim DOM ʼElyāqīm his/its_woman over Yəhūdāh and_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_he_changed DOM his/its_name Yəhōyāqīm/(Jehoiakim) and_DOM Yəhōʼāḩāz his/its_woman Nəkō he_took and_he_brought_him towards_Miʦrayim.

6 On/upon/above_him/it Nebuchadnezzar he_came_up the_king_of Bāⱱel and_he_bound_him with_(the)_fetters to_take_him to_Bāⱱel.
7 And_some_of_the_articles_of the_house_of YHWH Nebuchadnezzar he_brought to_Bāⱱel and_he_put_them in_his_of_palace in_Bāⱱel.
8 And_the_rest_of the_matters_of Yəhōyāqīm and_his_of_abominations which he_did and_that_which_was_found on/upon/above_him/it there_they are_written on the_scroll_of the_kings_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel) and_Yəhūdāh/(Yihudah) and_ Yəhōyākīn/(Jehoiachin) _he_became_king his/its_son in_place_of_him.
9 was_a_son_of eight years Yəhōyākīn when_he_became_king and_three months and_ten_of days he_reigned in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_he/it_made the_evil in/on_both_eyes_of YHWH.
10 And_to_the_return_of the_year he_sent the_king Nebuchadnezzar and_he_brought_him to_Bāⱱel with the_articles_of preciousness_of the_house_of YHWH and_he_made_king DOM Tsidqiyyāh/(Zedekiah) his/its_woman over Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
11 was_a_son_of twenty and_one year[s] Tsidqiyyāh when_he_became_king and_one_plus ten year[s] he_reigned in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
12 And_he/it_made the_evil in/on_both_eyes_of YHWH his/its_god not he_humbled_himself from_to/for_face/front/presence Yirməyāh/(Jeremiah) the_prophet from_the_mouth_of YHWH.
13 And_also against_king Nebuchadnezzar he_rebelled who he_had_made_him_swear_an_oath by_god and_he_stiffened DOM neck_of_his and_he_made_hard DOM heart_of_his from_turning_back to YHWH the_god_of Yisrāʼēl/(Israel).
14 Also all_of the_leaders_of the_priests and_the_people they_increased to_act_unfaithfully unfaithfulness[fn][fn] according_to_all_of the_abominations_of the_nations and_they_made_unclean DOM the_house_of YHWH which he_had_consecrated in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
15 And_ YHWH _he_sent the_god_of their_ancestors_of_of to_them by_the_hand_of his_messengers_of_of rising_early and_sending if/because he_had_compassion on people_of_his and_on place_of_his_dwelling.
16 And_they_were deriding (in)_the_messengers_of the_ʼElohīm and_despising words/messages_of_his and_mocking at_his_of_prophets until came_up the_rage_of YHWH on_his_of_people until (to)_there_was_not healing.
17 And_he/it_ascended on_them DOM the_king_of the__from_Kasdiy[fn] and_he_killed men_of_their_young with_sword in_house_of their_sanctuary_of_of and_not he_had_compassion on young_man and_young_woman the_old and_the_decrepit (the)_everyone he_gave in_his/its_hand.
18 And_all/each/any/every the_articles_of the_house_of the_ʼElohīm the_big(pl) and_(the)_small and_the_treasures_of the_house_of YHWH and_the_treasures_of the_king and_his_of_officials (the)_everything he_brought Bāⱱel.
19 And_they_burnt DOM the_house_of the_ʼElohīm and_they_pulled_down DOM the_wall_of Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_all palaces_of_its they_burnt with_fire and_all the_articles_of its_desirable_things_of_of to_destroy.
20 and_he_took_into_exile the_remainder from the_drought//sword/knife to Bāⱱel and_they_became to_him/it and_for_his_of_sons (into)_slaves until reigned the_kingdom_of Pāraş.
21 To_fulfill the_message_of YHWH by_the_mouth_of Yirməyāh/(Jeremiah) until it_has_accepted the_earth/land DOM sabbaths_of_its all_of the_days_of its_being_made_desolate it_rested to_complete seventy year[s].
22 and_in_year_of one to/for_Kōresh/(Coresh/Cyrus) the_king_of Pāraş to_ the_message_of _fulfill of_YHWH by_the_mouth_of Yirməyāh YHWH he_stirred_up DOM the_spirit_of Kōresh/(Cyrus/Kōresh) the_king_of Pāraş and_he_caused_to_pass a_proclamation in_all his/its_kingdom and_also in_writing to_say.
23 thus Kōresh he_says the_king_of Pāraş all_of the_kingdoms_of the_earth/land he_has_given to_me YHWH the_god_of the_heavens and_he he_has_appointed (on)_me to_build to_him/it a_house in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) which is_in_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) who is_among_you(pl) from_all people_of_his YHWH his/its_god with_him/it and_let_him_go_up.
