12 And_he/it _was just_as _established the _kingdom _of Rəḩaⱱˊām and_according_to _of_his _strengthening he _abandoned DOM the _law _of YHWH and_all Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) with_him/it.
2 and_he/it _was in_year (the)_fifth to/for_the _king Rəḩaⱱˊām Shiyshaq he _came _up the _king _of Miʦrayim/(Egypt) on Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) if/because they _had _acted _unfaithfully against_YHWH.
3 With_one _thousand and_two _hundreds chariot[s] and_with_sixty thousand horsemen and_there_was_not number to_people which they _came with_him/it from_Miʦrayim Lūⱱī Sukkites and_Kūshiy/(Cushi)tes.
4 And_he _captured DOM the _cities _of (the)_fortifications which belonged_to_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_he _came to Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem).
5 and_Shəmaˊ^yāh the_prophet he _came to Rəḩaⱱˊām and_the _leaders _of Yəhūdāh who they _had _gathered to Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) from_face/in _front _of Shiyshaq and_he/it _said to/for_them thus YHWH he _says you(pl) you(pl)_have _abandoned DOM_me and_also I I _have _abandoned you(pl) in_the _hand _of Shiyshaq.
6 And_ the _leaders _of _they _humbled _themselves of _Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_the_king and_they _said is_righteous YHWH.
7 And_when_ YHWH _saw if/because _that they _had _humbled _themselves the _message _of it _came of_YHWH[fn] to Shəmaˊ^yāh to_say they _have _humbled _themselves not I_will _destroy _them and_I _will _give to/for_them like_a _little (to)_deliverance and_not rage _of_my it _will _pour _forth on_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) by_the _hand _of Shiyshaq.
8 If/because they _will _become to_him/it (into)_subjects and_they _will _know service _of_my and_the _service _of the _kingdoms _of the _lands.
9 and_ Shiyshaq _he/it _ascended the _king _of Miʦrayim/(Egypt) on Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_he/it _took DOM the _treasures _of the _house _of YHWH and_DOM the _treasures _of the _house _of the_king DOM (the)_everything he _took and_he/it _took DOM the _shields _of the_gold which he _had _made Shəlomoh/(Solomon).
10 And_he/it _made the_king Rəḩaⱱˊām in_place _of _them shields _of bronze and_he _entrusted_them on the _hand _of the _commanders _of the _runners who_guarded the _entrance _of the _house _of the _king.
11 And_he/it _was from_sufficiency went the_king the _house _of YHWH they _came the_runners and_they_carried _them and_they_returned _them to the _guardroom _of the _runners.
12 And_when_he_humbled _himself it _turned _back from_him/it the _anger of_YHWH and_not to_destroy to_complete _destruction and_also in_Yəhūdāh/(Judah) things it _was good.
13 and_he _strengthened _himself the_king Rəḩaⱱˊām in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) and_he _reigned if/because was_a _son _of forty and_one year[s] Rəḩaⱱˊām when_he_became _king and_seven- teen year[s] he _reigned in_Yərūshālam/(Jerusalem) the_city where he _had _chosen YHWH to_put DOM his/its_name there from_all the _tribes _of Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel) and_name _of his/its_mother was_Naˊₐmāh the _ˊAmmōnī_woman.
14 And_he/it _made (the)_evil if/because not he _had _directed his/its_heart to_seek DOM YHWH.
15 and_the _matters _of Rəḩaⱱˊām (the)_former and_(the)_latter not are_they written in_the _words/messages _of Shəmaˊ^yāh the_prophet and_ˊIddō the_seer for_genealogical _enrolment and_the _wars _of Rəḩaⱱˊām and_Yārāⱱəˊām/(Jeroboam) were_all _of the_days.
16 And_ Rəḩaⱱˊām _he _lay _down with ancestors _of_his and_he _was _buried in_the _city _of Dāvid and_ ʼAⱱiy^yāh _he _became _king son _of_his in_place _of _him.
