The psalmist is speaking of the person’s time of illness as if it were the bed of suffering on which the person lies. Your language may have a comparable expression that you can use in your translation, or you could state the meaning plainly. Alternate translation: [his sickbed]

As he did in the previous verse, David switches to addressing Yahweh directly in order to make his conclusion more vivid. If it would be helpful in your language, you could translate this in the third person for consistency. Alternate translation: [Yahweh transformed]
