41.7 Ad meipsum. Conversus ad Deum dicit ex seipso conturbationes, ex Deo finem earum: unde in eo est ei spes. Et hoc est ad meipsum, vel a meipso. CASS. Ecce qui superius corrigebat animam ad conditionem hominis, reversus dicit hic animam a se turbari, quæ nisi vitia carnis essent, tranquilla permaneret. Ecce ex qua diversitate constat homo. Quasi: propterea, id est, propter conturbationes animæ, memor ero. AUG. CASS. Horum memor malis non turbatur. Propterea memor. AUG. Qua ad me turbatur anima, ideo memor, etc. Nemo currit ad remissionem, nisi qui sibi displicet, nisi qui se fatetur peccatorem: quod notat Hermoniim; nemo confitetur nisi se humiliet, quod notatur in modico. Jordanis. Ibid. Descensio. Descende ergo ut eleveris. CASS. In Jordane Dominus baptisma consecravit, in quo humiliati lavantur, et fiunt terra fructifera, quæ reddit fructum tricesimum, sexagesimum et centesimum Matth. 13.. Hermoniim. AUG. Parvus mons juxta Jordanem, etc., usque ad quia non in superbis, sed in humilibus memor Dei est.

Behold who superius corrigebat animam to conditionem of_man, returned dicit this animam from se turbari, which nisi vitia carnis essent, tranquilla permaneret. Behold from which diversitate constat homo. Quasi: propterea, id it_is, propter conturbationes animæ, memor I_will_be. AUG. That it_is, festino to you(sg), because excludis mala omnia. Behold remedium, quo evadat conturbationes: whence for to_whom let_it_be memor, subdit: De earth/land Yordanis, where Master consecravit baptismum, in quo humiliati lavantur, and fiunt earth/land fructifera. CASS. Horum memor malis not/no turbatur. That's_why memor. AUG. Qua to me turbatur anima, ideo memor, etc. Nemo currit to remissionem, nisi who sibi displicet, nisi who se fatetur peccatorem: that notat Hermoniim; nemo confitetur nisi se humiliet, that notatur in modico. Yordanis. Ibid. Descensio. Descende therefore as eleveris. CASS. In Yordane Master baptisma consecravit, in quo humiliati lavantur, and fiunt earth/land fructifera, which reddit fructum tricesimum, sexagesimum and centesimum Matth. 13.. Hermoniim. AUG. Parvus mons next_to Yordan, etc., until to because not/no in superbis, but in humilibus memor of_God it_is.

TSNTyndale Study Notes:

Ps 41 In this wisdom psalm, the psalmist prays for healing (41:4, 10), laments his distress (41:5-9), and expresses confidence in the Lord’s blessing (41:1-3, 11-12).

UTNuW Translation Notes:

against me they hope for my hurt

(Some words not found in UHB: and=if he/it_came to=see falsely speaks his/its=heart gathers mischief to=him/it goes_out to_the,out tells )

This could mean: (1) “they hope that very bad things will happen to me” or (2) “they are planning to hurt me.”
