OET (OET-RV) When Yeshua died, the Roman centurion who had been standing back watching everything said, “This man was definitely God’s son.”

OET-LV And the centurion having _seen which having _stood _by from opposite of _him that he _expired thus said:
Truly this the man was the_son of_god.

ULT Now the centurion, having stood by opposite him, having seen that he expired in this way,[fn] said, “Truly this man was a Son of God.”

UST There was a Roman officer standing there in front of Jesus. He observed how Jesus stopped breathing and died. He exclaimed, “This man really was God’s Son!”
