15 And immediately in _the _morning, the chief _priests having _established a_counsel, with the elders and scribes, and all the council, having _bound the Yaʸsous, they _carried_ him _away and they _gave_ him _over to _Pilatos.
2 And the Pilatos asked him:
Are you the king of _the Youdaiōns?
And he answering to _him is _saying:
You are _saying it.
3 And the chief _priests were _accusing many things against _him.
4 And the Pilatos again asked him saying:
You _are_ not _answering nothing?
Behold, how _many things they _are _accusing against _you.
5 But the Yaʸsous no _longer answered nothing, so _as the Pilatos to _be _marvelling.
6 And on the_feast, he _was _sending _away to _them one prisoner, whom they _were _excusing.
7 And was the one being _called Barabbas, having _been _bound with the insurrectionists, who had _done murder in the insurrection.
8 And having _gone _up, the crowd began to _be _requesting as he _was _doing for _them.
9 But the Pilatos answered to _them saying:
Are _you _all _wanting I _may _send_ The king of _the Youdaiōns _away to _you _all?
10 For/Because he _was _knowing that the chief _priests had _given_ him _over because _of envy.
11 But the chief _priests stirred _up the crowd, in _order _that he _may_ rather _send _away the Barabbas to _them.
12 And the Pilatos again answering was _saying to _them:
Therefore what I _may _do which you _all _are _calling the king of _the Youdaiōns?
13 And they cried _out again:
Execute _on _a _stake him.
14 And the Pilatos was _saying to _them:
For/Because what evil he _did?
But they exceedingly cried _out:
Execute _on _a _stake him.
15 And the Pilatos wishing to _do, the much for _the crowd sent_ The Barabbas _away to _them, and having _flogged him, gave_ The Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) _over in _order _that he _may _be _executed _on _a _stake.
16 And the soldiers led_ him _away within the palace, that is the_residence _of _the _governor, and they _are _calling _together all the cohort.
17 And they _are _dressing_ him _in purple, and having _twisted _together a_thorny crown they _are _putting _around to _him, 18 and they _began to _be _greeting him:
Greetings, king of _the Youdaiōns.
19 And they _were _striking the head of _him with_a_staff and they _were _spitting on _him, and kneeling the knees, they _were _prostrating before _him.
20 And when they _mocked at _him, they _stripped_ the purple garment _off him, and they _dressed_ him _in the own clothes of _him.
And they _are _leading_ him _out in _order _that they _may _execute _on _a _stake him.
21 And they _are _compelling a_certain_ from _Kuraʸnaʸ _man passing _by, Simōn, coming from the_country, the father of _Alexandros and Ɽoufos, in _order _that he _may _carry the stake of _him.
22 And they _are _bringing him to the Golgotha/(Gulgolet), place which is being _translated:
place Of_the_skull.
23 And they _were _giving wine to _him having _been _mixed _with _myrrh, but which he_ not _took.
24 And having _executed _on _a _stake him, they _are _dividing the clothes of _him, throwing a_lot for them, and _who may _take_ what _away.
25 And it _was the_ third _hour, and they _executed _on _a _stake him.
26 And the inscription of _the charge of _him having _been _inscribed was:
The king of _the Youdaiōns.
27 And they _are _executing _on _a _stake two robbers with him, one on the_right and one on the_left of _him.
28  29 And the ones passing _through were _slandering him, shaking the heads of _them, and saying:
Aha, you tearing _down the temple and building it in three days, 30 having _come _down from the stake, save yourself.
31 Likewise also the chief _priests, mocking to one _another with the scribes were _saying:
He _saved others, he _is_ not _able to _save himself.
32 The chosen _one /messiah, the king of _Israaʸl/(Yisrā^ʼēl), let _come _down now from the stake, in _order _that we _may _see and we _may _believe.
And the ones having _been _executed _on _a _stake _with with him were _deriding him.
33 And having _become the_ sixth _hour, darkness became over all the land, until the_ ninth _hour.
34 And the ninth hour, the Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa) shouted with_a_ loud _voice:
Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?
Which is being _translated:
- god of _me, the god of _me, because/for why you _abandoned me?
35 And some of _the ones having _stood _by, having _heard were _saying:
Behold, he _is _calling Aʸlias/(ʼĒliy^yāh).
36 And someone having _run, and having _filled a_sponge with _wine _vinegar having _put _around around_a_reed, was _giving_ him _to _drink saying:
Leave it, we _may _see if Aʸlias is _coming to _take_ him _down.
37 And the Yaʸsous having _sent _away with_a_ loud _cry, expired.
38 And the curtain of _the temple was _torn into two, from top to bottom.
39 And the centurion having _seen which having _stood _by from opposite of _him that he _expired thus said:
Truly this the man was the_son of_god.
40 And were also women observing from afar, among whom both Maria/(Miryām) the from _Magdala, and Maria the mother of_Yakōbos/(Yaˊₐqoⱱ) the little and of_Yōsaʸs/(Yōşēf?
), and Salōmaʸ, 41 who were _following after _him when he _was in the Galilaia/(Gālīl) and were _serving unto _him, and many others which having _come _up _with to _him to Hierousalaʸm/(Yərūshālayim).
42 And having_ already _become evening, because it _was the_preparation day, that is the_pre-day _of _rest day, 43 Yōsaʸf/(Yōşēf) having _come which from Arimathaia, a_prominent council _member, who also himself was waiting _for the kingdom of_ the _god, having _taken _courage, came _in to the Pilatos and requested the body of_ the _Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa).
44 And the Pilatos wondered if he _has_ already _died, and having _called _to the centurion, he _asked him whether he_ already _died _off.
45 And having _known from the centurion, he _granted the corpse the to _Yōsaʸf.
46 And having _bought a_linen _cloth, having _taken_ him _down, he _wrapped _in in _the linen _cloth, and laid him in a_tomb which was having _been _hewn out _of a_rock, and rolled a_stone to the door of _the tomb.
47 And the Maria the from _Magdala and Maria the mother of _Yōsaʸs were _observing where he _has _been _laid.
