11 Open your doors, Lebanon,

so that fire can devour your cedar trees.

2 Wail, cypress trees, because the cedar trees have fallen.

What was majestic has been devastated.

Wail, you Bashan oaks, because the strong forest has come down.

3 Listen to the shepherds wail,

because their pride and joy has been destroyed.

≈Listen to the young lions roaring,

≈because the pride of the Yordan river has been devastated.

11:4 The two shepherds

4 My God Yahweh says: “Be like a shepherd who’s watching over the flock that have been marked to be slaughtered. 5 The ones who buy them slaughter them and aren’t punished, and the ones who sell them say, ‘Blessed be Yahweh! I’ve become rich.’ because the shepherds working for the flocks’ owners have no pity on them.

9 And_said not I _will _shepherd DOM_you _all the_dying let _it(f)_die and_the_destroyed let _it(f)_be _destroyed and_the_left let _them(f)_devour each(f) DOM the _flesh _of another’s _of_her.
10 And_took DOM staff _of_my DOM Favor and_broke DOM_him/it to_annulling DOM covenant _of_my which I _had _made with all _of the_peoples.
11 And_annulled in _the_day (the)_that and_they _knew thus the _afflicted_ones_of the_flock the_watching DOM_me if/because _that was_the _word _of YHWH it.
12 And_said to_them if it_is_good in/on/at/with_sight _of_you _all give wages _of_my and_if not refrain and_weighed _out DOM wages _of_my thirty silver.
13 And_ YHWH _he/it _said to_me throw_it to the_potter the _magnificence _of the_price which I _was _valued from_with_them and_took thirty the_silver and_threw DOM_him/it the _house _of YHWH to the_potter.
14 And_broke DOM staff _of_my the_second DOM the_union to_annulling DOM the_brotherhood between Yəhūdāh/(Judah) and_between Yisrā^ʼēl/(Israel).
15 and_ YHWH _he/it _said to_me again take to/for_yourself(m) the_equipment _of a _shepherd foolish.
16 If/because here I am_about _to _raise _up a _shepherd on _the_earth the_perishing not he _will _visit the_young not he _will _seek and_the_broken not he _will _heal the_healthy not he _will _sustain and_flesh _of the_fat he _will _eat and_hoofs _of_their he _will _tear _off.
17 woe _to the _shepherd _of the_worthless who_abandons _of the_flock a _sword will _be_on arm _of_his and_on the _eye _of right _of_his arm _of_his totally _(wither) it _will _wither and_eye _of right _of_his totally _(dim) it _will _grow _dim.
