ULTAnd it will happen, when the Lord has finished all of his work on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, I will visit against the fruit of the greatness of heart of the king of Assyria and against the splendor of the height of his eyes.

USTHowever, when the Lord finishes everything he plans to do to discipline the people who live in Jerusalem on Mount Zion and elsewhere in Judah, he will punish the king of Assyria, because that king is very proud and looks at everyone with arrogant contempt.

NETBut when the sovereign master finishes judging Mount Zion and Jerusalem, then I will punish the king of Assyria for what he has proudly planned and for the arrogant attitude he displays.

LSVAnd it has come to pass,
When the Lord fulfills all His work
In Mount Zion and in Jerusalem,
I see concerning the fruit of the greatness
Of the heart of the king of Asshur,
And concerning the glory of the height of his eyes.

FBVOnce the Lord has finished all his work against Mount Zion and Jerusalem, he[fn] will punish the king of Assyria for his terrible arrogance and for the conceited look in his eyes.

T4TBut, I, Yahweh, say that after I have used Assyria to finish what I want to do to punish the people in Jerusalem [DOU], I will punish the king of Assyria because he has been very proud and arrogant/boastful [DOU].

BrLXXΚαὶ ἔσται ὅταν συντελέσῃ Κύριος πάντα ποιῶν ἐν τῷ ὄρει Σιὼν καὶ Ἱερουσαλήμ, ἐπισκέψομαι ἐπὶ τὸν νοῦν τὸν μέγαν ἐπὶ τὸν ἄρχοντα τῶν Ἀσσυρίων, καὶ ἐπὶ τὸ ὕψος τῆς δόξης τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν αὐτοῦ.

BrTrAnd it shall come to pass, when the Lord shall have finished doing all things on mount Sion and Jerusalem, that I will visit upon the [fn]proud heart, even upon the ruler of the Assyrians, and upon the boastful haughtiness of his eyes.
