OET (OET-RV) Commander-in-chief Yahweh will wave a whip against them, like when the Midianites were struck at Orev rock, and wave his staff over the sea like they did leaving Egypt (Heb. Mitsrayim).

OET-LV And_he _will _wield on/upon/above_him/it YHWH soldiers/messengers a _whip like_the _defeat _of Midyān at_the _rock _of ˊOrēⱱ and_staff _of_his will _be_over the_sea and_he_will _raise _it in_the _manner _of Miʦrayim.

BrLXX Καὶ ἐγερεῖ ὁ Θεὸς ἐπʼ αὐτοὺς, κατὰ τὴν πληγὴν Μαδιὰμ ἐν τόπῳ θλίψεως· καὶ ὁ θυμὸς αὐτοῦ τῇ ὁδῷ τῇ κατὰ θάλασσαν, εἰς τὴν ὁδὸν τὴν κατʼ Αἴγυπτον.

BrTr And God will stir up enemies against them, according to the stroke of Madiam in the place of affliction: and his wrath shall be by the way of the sea, even to the way that leads to Egypt.
