OET (OET-RV) but because of the crowd they couldn’t find a way in. So instead, they went up the stairs to the flat roof and removed some tiles in order to let the stretcher down right in front of Yeshua.

OET-LV And not having _found by _what way they _may _carry_ him _in because _of the crowd, having _gone _up on the housetop, they _let_ him _down through the tiles with the stretcher into the midst before the Yaʸsous/(Yəhōshūˊa).

ULT And not finding a way to bring him in because of the crowd, having gone up to the housetop, they let him down through the tiles on his mat into the midst before Jesus.

UST But because there was such a large crowd of people in the house, they were not able to bring him in. So they went up the outside steps onto the flat roof. They removed some of the tiles from the roof to make an opening. Then they lowered the man on his sleeping pad through the opening into the middle of the crowd. He came down right in front of Jesus.
