OET (OET-RV) Then Yeshua told them, “Obviously no one goes and gets a lamp, and then puts it under a basket or under the bed, but rather they place it somewhere higher on a stand.

Not in _order _that it _may _be _put on the lampstand?

ULT And he was saying to them, “The lamp does not come so that it might be put under the basket or under the bed, does it? Is it not so that it might be put on the lampstand?

UST Then he told the people who were there, “People do not bring an oil lamp into a house in order to cover it with a basket or a bench. Instead, they put it on a lampstand so that it shines brightly.
