5.8 Lapide impolito. ID., ibid. Novo scilicet, which impolitum repererunt, but poliendo ædificio aptaverunt, etc., usque to alter idololatriæ mancipatus nulla spiritualium architectorum industria, nullo pietatis cultu deformitatem agrestis and terrenæ mentis exuerat. (They likely say the great God because the Jews told them, as they report in 5:11, that it would be a temple for the God who made heaven and earth.)
