 ⇔ ‘My eyes overflow with tears;
⇔ day and night they do not cease,
 ⇔ for the virgin daughter of my people
⇔ has been shattered by a crushing blow,
⇔ a severely grievous wound.

FBV This is what you are to tell them: Tears flow from my eyes without stopping day or night, because my people have been crushed by a heavy blow, a really serious wound.
