OET (OET-RV) So, my brothers and sisters, you, too, were made dead to the law through the body of the messiah so that you could join to another—to the one who came back to life from the dead—so that we can bear fruit for God.OET logo mark

OET-LVSo_that, brothers of_me, also you_all were_put_to_death to_the law by the body of_the chosen_one/messiah, in_order that to_become you_all to_another, to_the one from the_dead having_been_raised, in_order_that we_may_bear_fruit to_ the _god.OET logo mark

ULTSo then, my brothers, you yourselves were also made dead to the law through the body of Christ so that you might become, married to another, to the one having been raised from dead ones, in order that we might produce fruit for God.

USTSo, my fellow Jewish believers, by means of the Messiah dying on the cross the laws God gave the Jews no longer control you. God did this in order to unite you to the Messiah, as if you were marrying a new husband. He is the person whom God made alive again after he had died. God did this in order that we may do things that please him.

BSB & MSBTherefore, my brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to [Him who] was raised from [the] dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God.

BLBLikewise, my brothers, you also have been put to death to the Law through the body of Christ, for you to belong to another, to the One having been raised out from the dead, so that we should bear fruit to God.

AICNTSo then, my brothers, you also were put to death in relation to the law through the body of Christ, so that you might belong to another, to the one who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.

OEBAnd so with you, my friends; as far as the Law was concerned, you underwent death in the crucified body of the Christ, so that you might be united to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that our lives might bear fruit for God.

WEBBETherefore, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you would be joined to another, to him who was raised from the dead, that we might produce fruit to God.

WMBBTherefore, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Messiah, that you would be joined to another, to him who was raised from the dead, that we might produce fruit to God.

NETSo, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you could be joined to another, to the one who was raised from the dead, to bear fruit to God.

LSVSo that, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of the Christ, for your becoming another’s, who was raised up out of the dead, that we might bear fruit to God;

FBVIn the same way, my friends, you've become dead to the law through the body of Christ, and so now you belong to someone else—Christ, who was raised from the dead so that we could live productive lives[fn] for God.

TCNTSo then, my brothers, you also were put to death with respect to the law through the body of Christ, so that you might be joined to another, to him who was raised from the dead, so that we might bear fruit for God.

T4TLikewise, my fellow believers, just like people are free from having to obey any law after they die [MET], you and I have been freed {God has freed you and me} from having to obey all the Jewish rituals and laws [MET]. That is because it is as though we died with Christ when he was crucified. Now you and I belong to someone else [MET], like a woman who marries again after her husband dies belongs to another man. Specifically, you and I belong to Christ, who has come back to life {whom God has caused to live again after he died}, in order that we may live righteously [IDM] to honor God.

LEBSo then, my brothers, you also were brought to death with respect to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to the one who was raised from the dead, in order that we may bear fruit for God.

BBEIn the same way, my brothers, you were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, so that you might be joined to another, even to him who came again from the dead, so that we might give fruit to God.

MoffIt is the same in your case, my brothers. The crucified body of Christ made you dead to the Law, so that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead that we might be fruitful to God.

WymthSo, my brethren, to you also the Law died through the incarnation of Christ, that you might be wedded to Another, namely to Him who rose from the dead in order that we might yield fruit to God.

ASVWherefore, my brethren, ye also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ; that ye should be joined to another, even to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit unto God.

DRATherefore, my brethren, you also are become dead to the law, by the body of Christ; that you may belong to another, who is risen again from the dead, that we may bring forth fruit to God.

YLTSo that, my brethren, ye also were made dead to the law through the body of the Christ, for your becoming another's, who out of the dead was raised up, that we might bear fruit to God;

DrbySo that, my brethren, ye also have been made dead to the law by the body of the Christ, to be to another, who has been raised up from among [the] dead, in order that we might bear fruit to [fn]God.

RVWherefore, my brethren, ye also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ; that ye should be joined to another, even to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit unto God.

WbstrWherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit to God.

GnvaSo yee, my brethren, are dead also to the Law by ye body of Christ, that ye should be vnto an other, euen vnto him that is raised vp from the dead, that we should bring foorth fruite vnto God.

   (Even so ye/you_all my brethren/brothers are deed concerninge the law by the body of Christ that ye/you_all should be coupled to another (I mean to him that is risen again from death) that we should bring forth fruit unto God.)

   (And so, my brethren/brothers, ye/you_all been made deed to the law by the body of Christ, that ye/you_all been of another, that rose again from death, that ye/you_all bear fruit to God.)

LuthAlso auch, meine Brüder, ihr seid getötet dem Gesetz durch den Leib Christi, daß ihr bei einem andern seid, nämlich bei dem, der von den Toten auferwecket ist, auf daß wir GOtt Frucht bringen.
   (So also, my brothers, you(pl)/their/her are killed to_him law through the body of_Christ, that you(pl)/their/her at/in on change are, namely at/in to_him, the/of_the from the killing(n) resurrected is, on/in/to that we/us God fruit bring/get.)
