 ⇔ “An enemy [fn] will surround the land;
⇔ he will pull down your strongholds
⇔ and plunder your citadels.”

And he has brought down your strength from you,
And your palaces have been spoiled.”

FBV As a result, says the Lord, an enemy will surround you, break down your strongholds, and plunder your fortresses.

T4T So Yahweh our God says that soon their enemies will come

⇔ and take away those valuable things.

WYC Therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, The lond schal be troblid, and be cumpassid; and thi strengthe schal be drawun doun of thee, and thin housis schulen be rauyschid.

LUT Darum spricht der HErr HErr also: Man wird dies Land ringsumher belagern und dich von deiner Macht herunterreißen und deine Häuser plündern.

CLV Propterea hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Tribulabitur et circuietur terra: et detrahetur ex te fortitudo tua, et diripientur ædes tuæ.

BRN Therefore thus saith the Lord God; O Tyre, thy land shall be made desolate round about thee; and he shall bring down thy strength out of thee, and thy countries shall be spoiled.
