TSNTyndale Study Notes:

16:19-24 As in other letters, Paul greets his friends and gives a benediction.

UTNuW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: translate-blessing

ἡ χάρις τοῦ Κυρίου Ἰησοῦ μεθ’ ὑμῶν

the grace ˱of˲_the Lord Jesus (Some words not found in SR-GNT: ἡ χάρις τοῦ Κυρίου Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ μεθʼ ὑμῶν)

As was customary in his culture, Paul closes his letter with a blessing for the Corinthians. Use a form that people would recognize as a blessing in your language. Alternate translation: “May you experience kindness from the Lord Jesus within you” or “I pray that you will have grace from the Lord Jesus”

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / abstractnouns

ἡ χάρις τοῦ Κυρίου Ἰησοῦ μεθ’ ὑμῶν

the grace ˱of˲_the Lord Jesus (Some words not found in SR-GNT: ἡ χάρις τοῦ Κυρίου Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ μεθʼ ὑμῶν)

If your language does not use an abstract noun for the idea behind grace, you can express by using an adjective such as “gracious” or an adverb such as “graciously.” Alternate translation: “May the Lord Jesus act graciously toward you”
