BSB  ⇔ Yet it was the LORD’s will to crush Him
⇔ and to cause Him to suffer;
 ⇔ and when His soul is made a guilt offering,
⇔ He will see His offspring, He will prolong His days,
⇔ and the good pleasure of the LORD will prosper in His hand.

OEB ’Twas the will of the Lord that crushed him with pain;
⇔ but by yielding himself as an offering for sin,
 ⇔ he will yet see an offspring, his days will be long,
⇔ and the purpose of God will through him be triumphant.

LSV And YHWH has delighted to crush Him,
He has made Him sick; If His soul makes an offering for guilt,
He sees [His] seed—He prolongs [His] days,
And the pleasure of YHWH prospers in His hand.

FBV However, it was the Lord's will for him to be crushed and to suffer, for when he gives his life as a guilt offering he will see his descendants, he will have a long life, and what the Lord wants will be achieved through him.

JPS Yet it pleased the LORD to crush him by disease; to see if his soul would offer itself in restitution, that he might see his seed, prolong his days, and that the purpose of the LORD might prosper by his hand:

LUT Aber der HErr wollte ihn also zerschlagen mit Krankheit. Wenn er sein Leben zum Schuldopfer gegeben hat, so wird er Samen haben und in die Länge leben; und des HErrn Vornehmen wird durch seine Hand fortgehen.

BRN The Lord also is pleased to purge him from his stroke. If ye can give an offering for sin, your soul shall see a long-lived seed:
