7.18 Visitas him diluculo. Diluculum it_is when/with about nocte vitiorum and ignorantiæ to the_light he_came homo, in quo and mox probatur: ne because good a se habere glorietur, tentatione concuti permittitur, as altitudo God and sui infirmitas videatur, like Salomon after wisdom tentatur a meretricibus; this tota hac mortalitate human patitur unde: Usquequo not/no parcis mihi.

TSNTyndale Study Notes:

7:6-21 Job cried out to God, complaining that life was too brief (7:6-10). This complaint contrasts ironically with his earlier desire that God end it all (6:9).

UTNuW Translation Notes:

Note 1 topic: figures-of-speech / declarative

וַתִּפְקְדֶ֥נּוּ לִבְקָרִ֑ים לִ֝רְגָעִ֗ים תִּבְחָנֶֽנּוּ

and,visit,him in,mornings in,moments test,him

Job is using the future tense to describe what he believes God should do. Your language may have its own way of expressing such a meaning. Alternate translation: “that you should visit him in the mornings and that you should test him in the moments”

Note 2 topic: figures-of-speech / rquestion

וַתִּפְקְדֶ֥נּוּ לִבְקָרִ֑ים לִ֝רְגָעִ֗ים תִּבְחָנֶֽנּוּ

and,visit,him in,mornings in,moments test,him

Job is using the question form for emphasis, continuing the question that he began in the previous verse. If you would not use the question form for that purpose in your language, you could translate this as a statement or as an exclamation. It may be helpful to begin a new sentence here. Alternate translation: “You do not need to visit him in the mornings and test him in the moments!”
