OET (OET-RV) From those who the Babylonian King Nevukadnetstsar allowed to remain, he appointed Gedalyah (son of Shafan’s son Ahikam) over them.

OET-LV And_the_people who_remained in_land of _Yəhūdāh whom he _left _behind Nebuchadnezzar the _king _of Bāⱱel and_he _appointed over_them DOM Gədal^yāh the _son _of ʼAḩīqām the _son _of Shāfān.

ULT Now, as for the people having been left in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, left, he appointed Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, over them.

UST King Nebuchadnezzar allowed some people to continue living in Judah. He appointed Gedaliah to be their governor. Gedaliah was the son of Ahikam and the grandson of Shaphan.
