TSNTyndale Study Notes:

41:5-26 Around the Temple building were ninety side rooms on three levels. To the rear was a large building of unspecified purpose that might have protected the back of the Temple from unauthorized access. No one was permitted to approach God’s presence from behind. The side rooms might have been designed to store priestly clothing and equipment.

UTNuW Translation Notes:

(Occurrence 0) The building that faced the courtyard on the west side was seventy cubits in width

(Some words not found in UHB: and, the, building which/who to/towards face/surface_of the,temple_yard side toward the=sea wide seventy cubits and, wall the, building five cubits thick around around and, length, its ninety cubits )

This can be stated as a separate sentence. Alternate translation: “There was a building on the west side of the temple area, and its entrance was towards the courtyard. It was seventy cubits in width”

Note 1 topic: translate-bdistance

(Occurrence 0) seventy cubits … five cubits … ninety cubits

(Some words not found in UHB: and, the, building which/who to/towards face/surface_of the,temple_yard side toward the=sea wide seventy cubits and, wall the, building five cubits thick around around and, length, its ninety cubits )

Each long cubit was about 54 centimeters. See how you translated this in Ezekiel 40:5. “70 cubits … 5 cubits … 90 cubits” or “about 38 meters … about 2.7 meters … about 49 meters”
